"Guess it works as intended," Ethan muttered as he looked at the diagnosis on the watch’s screen.

He hadn’t slept for days, mostly because he was spending ti in the lab to figure out the liquid tal without buying that knowledge from the system shop.

Why?

Well, two reasons.

One, it felt like a waste of his tier 4 knowledge and system points to rely on the system for sothing he could figure out himself.

And two, was the system rewards.

Ethan had figured out that the system rewarded him more when he did things without its help.

His theory was correct when the system upgraded his knowledge in material science to tier 4 and rewarded him five thousand system points.

It had classified the adaptive liquid tal as a tier 4 tech which was two tiers above what his present tiline was capable of.

So indeed, he should get so sleep, but a third of his minds were currently handling that so he didn’t need to.

Though his body might not completely accept his decision to only rest the mind.

Liam and Lizzy sighed in relief after his words. They were a bit nervous while coming here and they’d have considered the product a fail if the one who helped them figure out if the one who helped them figure out the impossible part—the adaptive morphing alloy—said a single word of disapproval.

"Great," Liam said before asking, "then should we start mass production?"

Ethan didn’t reply, instead, he turned to Lillian, sitting opposite him.

"Hmm.... Yes," she after thinking for a short while, "but public release will be delayed for a while."

"Why?" Lizzy asked. She was pretty excited for the world to receive this gift so why would they delay it?

"Licensing," Lillian simply replied before explaining, "we’ll need to secure international dical certifications, FDA approval, health departnt clearance — and that’s just the start. The mont this thing hits the public radar, we’ll be dealing with a lot of hungry mouths."

Lizzy frowned slightly. "That’ll take months."

"Months we need," Lillian replied. "We’ve co this far, we can’t risk the governnt seizing the product with any excuse... We’ll have to cover all bases, successfully launch the product and wait for chaos to descend."

The last part she said with a small smile. It seed like the last few months she had spent with Ethan had caused him to rub off on her and she had picked a trait or two from him.

Because that smile scread that she wanted whatever chaos from the release of the product.

Liam asked in confusion, "Chaos?"

Ethan was the one to respond as he turned the device over in his hands, "Think about it. A device that can analyze your DNA, predict illnesses before they form, and track every biological function you have, that sounds like so pretty expensive data, one that everybody and their mother will want a hand in."

Liam let out a low whistle. "...That sounds like a nightmare."

"It would be," Lillian said, nodding in agreent. "Which is why we’ll stagger the release. Start with dical institutions, hospitals, and research centers under controlled partnerships. Others will get access later — through us, and only us."

"Wouldn’t they just force you to give up the product before it’s even released?" Lizzy asked.

"That’s exactly why we need these months," Lillian answered, "we’ll use it to cover every single ground they’ll try to use against us.... But then again, they won’t."

She said the last part with confidence, so much so that it confused both Liam and Lizzy, again.

"What do you an?" She asked again, sothing that she seed to be doing a lot today.

"Well, you see, OmniTech Corp is not exactly a US company." Lillian started, "it might have its HQ here, but it’s not registered in the US."

She didn’t need to finish and the siblings imdiately understood as both their eyes widened.

"Then that ans —"

"Exactly," Lillian nodded with a smile, "that ans they’ll try everything possible not to lose us to a rival country, especially when they realize what this technology can do," Lillian finished, her tone was completely calm.

OmniTech Corp might be a young company, yes, but their value at this point was a lot higher....and it wasn’t their monetary value either.

The contract Google was negotiating with the governnt? Well, that had fallen in the hands of a better alternative, OmniTech Corp.

Sentinel now defended more than eighty percent of the US’s Cyber space and that included the governnt’s.

OmniTech Corp had allowed them access to a basic version of Sentinel’s attack model which had placed them ahead in this cross country cyber war.

So, no, they wouldn’t risk losing OmniTech to another nation, not now, not ever..

But that didn’t an that everything would be smooth sailing though the corporates and investors currently profiting from the current health business model would try to either stop its launch or get it for themselves.

Which was exactly the reason why a controlled release was what they’d go for.

"I see," Liam and Lizzy nodded in understanding.

Lizzy looked between them both. "Then what’s the next move?"

"Test, from actual patients," Lillian answered, "I’m currently in the middle of negotiating with a couple of private hospitals to see if we can acquire them and proceed with testing."

"With the results, we’ll have proof that it’s release ready and we’ll apply for various Licenses," she replied, "should take a month or so."

"I see," Lizzy nodded, it seems the public would have to wait a month longer or maybe even longer before they experienced the wonders of this tech.

Ethan unclipped the watch from his hand and raised it to eye level, observing its strap.

The system had let out a ding the mont they opened it, but he was going to hold on for a while before checking it out.

"Oh right," Liam suddenly said, "we haven’t even nad it yet."

Doctor in a box was a mouthful a honestly didn’t sound that cool so they had to co up with a better na.
