“What a sorry sight, Hiruzen.”

Hiruzen lowered his head in sha, but his expression shifted from grief and guilt to solemnity and relief.

It was the look of soone who recognized an old friend, saw hope, and felt a burden lifted.

Yes, he was indeed in a pitiful state, especially with Danzo’s grand entrance making him look even worse.

But what did that matter?

With Danzo’s appearance, Konoha’s crisis was over!

It wasn’t Jiraiya, but Danzo who had brought back the spirits of the fallen Konoha heroes to save the village in its ti of need.

This was better than his original plan, which had failed in an attempt to take down the Raikage. This mont was one Naruto would rember, embodying the Will of Fire—not by burning one’s life but by its unending legacy.

“Sorry to trouble you all…”

Hiruzen said quietly, tears streaming down his face.

“I apologize for needing you to step in.”

The Fourth Raikage A looked grim. He recognized many of the figures behind Danzo—legendary figures from Konoha’s past whom he had once fought in his youth. This made the situation even more daunting.

“Reanimated corpses? Or just a ruse?”

If these people had their original power…

Raikage murmured, throwing Hiruzen aside and deciding to test them.

With his heart pounding and lightning crackling around him, he flashed to stand before the Second Hokage, Tobirama.

“The dead should not ddle in the affairs of the living—I’ll send you back to your graves!”

“Heh… picking on an old man first? You underestimate !” Tobirama tossed a kunai inscribed with seals, chuckling softly.

A’s lightning-encased fist passed through Tobirama’s body without the usual resistance of flesh, only splattering water and leaving Tobirama unfazed.

In slow motion, A watched the kunai spin through the air as Tobirama’s liquid form surged towards his face, eyes widening.

A water clone… where’s the real one?

He glanced sideways, seeing a blue figure suddenly appear next to Hiruzen, grabbing him before disappearing again. When Raikage located them, Tobirama had already caught the kunai in midair, reappearing behind him.

Flying Thunder God Technique…

Tobirama smiled faintly as the space-ti kunai, coated in blue chakra, sliced through the Lightning Release armor, aiming for Raikage’s back.

Swish!

In a flash, both moved at incredible speeds, with A’s expression darkening as he glanced back at the wound on his broad back that his arm couldn’t reach.

“Raikage-sama…”

“It’s nothing.”

The Raikage’s back bore a new wound, but it was minor. What mattered was that Tobirama’s power and his ability to bypass the Lightning Release armor proved that Konoha’s revived spirits had retained most of their original strength.

He took a deep breath.

Things…

just got complicated.

Still facing familiar opponents and still being overwheld.

In a Konoha camp, Asuma picked up his chakra blade, standing once more.

Before him, Yugito Nii had entered her semi-beast transformation state.

Her speed and strength had increased significantly, and even at his peak a month ago, Asuma would struggle against such an opponent.

He was only surviving due to the help of a special ally.

“Wood Release: Silent Strangle Jutsu!”

Wooden stakes bound Yugito’s body temporarily.

“Well done, Yamato!” Asuma praised, forming hand seals.

“Wind Release: Dust Cloud Technique!” He exhaled a wind filled with dust, blinding Yugito as she broke free from the wood.

Asuma engaged her in close combat with his chakra blade.

Yugito snorted. Despite her compromised vision, her semi-beast state granted her strength, speed, endurance, and regeneration far beyond normal. She feared no close combat.

Blades and claws clashed rapidly. Asuma landed many strikes, but Yugito’s wounds healed instantly, frustrating him.

They needed to find a way to seal or at least incapacitate her temporarily.

Yamato’s wood release, though impressive, couldn’t match the legendary First Hokage’s. It couldn’t hold a semi-beast transformation Yugito.

If only they had genjutsu support.

Asuma thought, but was distracted, allowing Yugito to slash his face, sending him flying.

Yamato, trying to assist with wood release, was chased by Yugito’s fireballs. She then turned her attention to Asuma, the blue cat demon grinning nacingly as she lunged at him.

As Asuma braced himself, a faint cherry blossom scent filled the air.

A figure appeared beside him, soone he never expected.

“Genjutsu: Ultimate Lotus.”

Yugito froze.

The figure turned to Asuma, stepping closer, gently touching his injured face.

“…You’re scarred.”

Asuma looked at her, the beautiful but battered face, and was choked with emotion.

Compared to other Konoha comrades, Yuugao Uzuki was in a relatively favorable situation.

Her area had the most Konoha ninjas, and in the multiple battlefields against Kumogakure, they were the only ones holding an advantage.

The remaining clans—Nara, Yamanaka, Akimichi, Abura, Inuzuka, and Shimura—along with a few elite Senju who had co from the Land of Fire's daimyo, were all here, fighting Kumogakure.

Yes, the Senju clan, the legendary founders of Konoha alongside the Uchiha, had not disappeared. Even after two Hokages, this great clan hadn’t perished. Despite their warlike nature, it was impossible for them all to die in battle.
