C48 – Who Do You Think You Are??
“Shuyi, who’s responsible for this?”
“We just slipped in to witness the spectacle. Did he have to go so far as to cripple Shuyi?”
The Ke family was unprepared for the night’s events to take such a horrific turn. Their prodigy, Ke Shuyi, had been brutally attacked; his limbs were broken, his bones shattered.
It was barbaric!
Amidst their silent outrage, the boy regained consciousness.
Ke Fanyin hurried to his side to find out what had transpired.
“Second Master Yan is dead. Pei Yu killed him.”
“The Super Martial Club is under Pei Yu’s thumb. We were lucky to escape with our lives.”
The boy’s voice was laden with terror. The mory of the ordeal sent shivers down his spine.
It would haunt him for life, robbing him of peaceful sleep forever.
“Are you certain it was Pei Yu?” demanded the Ke family patriarch. The young man was visibly petrified. He got up and fled without looking back.
He couldn’t bear to stay a mont longer, fearing Pei Yu might co after him.
Safety awaited only within the walls of his own ho.
The remaining Ke family mbers exchanged bewildered glances, at a loss for what to do next.
In the wake of Pei Yu’s assault on Ke Shuyi, a voice thundered.
“Who killed my son?”
All eyes turned to see Yan Chuo bursting through the crowd, racing toward them in a frenzy.
He had been at ho selecting attire for the evening’s celebration, never imagining he’d receive a call about his second son’s murder.
His boy had been slain within the Super Martial Club!
Yan Chuo dashed over, wild with grief.
“Dad, he’s the one who killed my brother.”
Young Master Yan, tears in his eyes, pointed an accusing finger at Pei Yu, pouring out his heart to Yan Chuo.
A Fourth Grade Martial Cultivator, Yan Chuo held a respected position in the Super Martial Club. Rage consud him at the sight of Pei Yu.
But as his gaze fell to the crater below, he saw a grueso sight—a mangled ss that was once his son. Collapsing to the ground, he wept uncontrollably.

Unfamiliar with Pei Yu, Yan Chuo was ignorant of his identity.

As Yan Chuo advanced, Pei Yu countered with a palm strike, unleashing a quintuple surge of power.
Their confrontation was brief; a figure was blasted away!
Predictably, it was Yan Chuo.
He flew backward, slamming into a wall, and several of his bones snapped instantly.

“Your life is forfeit!”
He lunged forward, and a collective gasp rippled through the onlookers.
He was relentless in pursuit!
“Mr. Pei, please, hold back your fury!”
Just then, a voice rang out, halting Pei Yu’s advance.
