"Slash!"

Fresh blood clinging to the tip of the spear was flung off with a single shake, and the weapon swiftly transford into a chanical hand.

Lucas landed on the ground, his feet imdiately stained by the blood pooling across the floor, but he paid no attention.

His violet eyes shifted, glancing toward the two people clinging tightly to each other in the back.

"Darling, it’s , Louis. Just now, I was so terrified... these wicked people dared to imprison you. To save you, I went through countless hardships, so dangerous... I’m lucky I didn’t die."

The young man held the girl tightly, both sitting on the floor. A tear slid from the corner of his eye, tracing down his flawless cheek. His plum-colored lips were bitten hard, expression torn between pain and joy.

Luna stared at him, her entire face flushed red from excitent. Each breath carried searing heat, her pupils seed about to turn into little hearts. Trembling with passion, she wrapped her arms around the young man and muttered ecstatically: "It’s okay, it’s okay, don’t cry, don’t cry... or else, or else, I won’t be able to hold back."

Lucas frowned. He felt deeply unsettled for so reason: "Luna, this man’s origins are unknown..."

"I beg you, Lucas," Louis raised his voice, eyes wide as he looked at him. "Didn’t I already agree to share love equally between you and Luna? Don’t force Please don’teave Luna and co to you alone! I can be with you—but only if Luna is with too!"

His words rang with an unshakable determination, yet when his gaze returned to Luna, it still brimd with lingering love.

Shimring with tears, his blue eyes sparkled more brilliantly than the rarest diamond. Another teardrop rolled down.

Lucas’s hand trembled uncontrollably, his breathing turning ragged.

So this was the one he loved? Ha... ha ah, ah... Yes, without a doubt! The mont he saw tears fall from this man’s face, Lucas was sure—this was the one he loved!

Unable to resist, Lucas lunged forward, his still-trembling hand lifting to wipe away the tears on Louis’s cheek. But because he used too much force, his small palm left a clear red mark in its wake. It felt as if, with just a bit more strength, Louis’s skin would split open and bleed.

Lucas’s eyes widened even further, his raised hand hovering as if he wanted to make that thought a reality.

But at that instant, Luna suddenly yanked Louis back into her arms. Her long hair spilled over him, and she lunged forward—sinking her teeth into Louis’s neck!

This ti, real blood flowed—yes, blood truly flowed!

Louis nearly cursed aloud from the pain. Of all things in this world, what he hated most was pain! He was sure that if he kept hanging around these two siblings, his body would end up covered in fresh wounds every single day.

Even though Louis had already composed a speech full of vulgar curses in his heart, outwardly, he only bit his lip and endured. Tears spilled as if they cost nothing, streaming down his cheeks, while his face flushed slightly red.

By now, Luna had moved away from Louis’s neck. Her lips, stained bright red with blood, made her look even more like a temptress ant to bewitch n’s hearts.

She licked her lips and leaned closer to Louis, the tallic tang of blood imdiately brushing against his face.

Luna smiled, her soft hands cupping Louis’s cheeks with delicate care. In a voice filled with pity, she whispered: "Are you made of water, to shed so many tears like this?" As she spoke, she placed gentle kisses at the corner of his eye, then his cheek, his nose, his chin—like a dragonfly skimming over water, as though she hadn’t been the one to bite him and make him bleed just monts before.

Right then, Louis suddenly stiffened.

The wound still oozing blood at his neck had just been licked—warm, sticky, nauseatingly uncomfortable!

And Lucas’s hair brushed against his face, rough and ticklish.

Damn it!

Louis really wanted to curse out loud.

"Lucas, I like Louis."

Luna finally spared Louis’s face, pausing her soft kisses.

Lucas licked his lips, lifting his head as well.

They were like two pieces of bread sandwiching Louis in the middle, starting a conversation.

"Luna, Louis is definitely my lover," Lucas declared.

They couldn’t rember much about Louis, nor many other things, but one thing they knew with certainty—Louis was their beloved.

The twins stared at each other, their expressions turning awkward. They both liked Louis, but Louis was only one person.

The last ti they liked sothing, it was split in half—perfectly fair.

Suddenly, Louis shivered, like an animal’s instinctual reaction.

"You two... You really don’t rember ?"

The young man’s voice grew soft. His head bowed, and though his tears had stopped, he looked even more sorrowful.

Without waiting for Luna and Lucas to reply, Louis suddenly stood up. His blue eyes seed dim, devoid of light.

Looking at the twins, he said quietly, "Since you can’t rember anything, it seems I’ve only been troubling you. Now that you’ve both awakened, I suppose this is the end..."

Louis turned to leave, even his back carrying an air of loneliness.

Luna and Lucas both trembled, their hearts shaken violently, yet at the sa ti their brows furrowed.

"You’re not allowed to leave!"

"Stop right there!"

They stood up, their faces cold as they watched Louis’s retreating figure. But Louis seed not to hear their voices, only continuing forward.

"You’re not listening to ?"

"You’re not listening to ?"

Luna and Lucas appeared before Louis in the blink of an eye, their expressions frosty as they demanded an answer.

Louis, as though he had expected this, gave a weary smile. "You two are always like this, wanting everything to go your way. I endured so much, we fought countless tis before you finally gave a little respect—and now you want to start all over again?"

He smiled, but the smile carried bitterness. Covering his forehead with one hand, he shook his head tiredly. "I don’t have the energy for that. I’m exhausted. Since you’ve forgotten anyway, find your true love."

With that, Louis slipped past the twins, his fist clenched tightly, as if enduring the pain of a heart being torn apart.

Luna felt as though her heart had been pinched hard. Tears welled up in her eyes, trembling, but not yet falling.

She rushed forward and wrapped her arms around Louis from behind, raising her voice: "Louis, don’t! We’ll listen to you, we can start over... no! Tell what I was like before, I won’t let you get tired again."

Louis turned his head, lowering his gaze to look at Luna, then lifted his eyes toward Lucas, who stood less than two ters away.

"Lucas!" Luna couldn’t help but cry out.

Lucas furrowed his brows tightly. He still seed sowhat displeased—or perhaps doubtful. Who could tell?

"There’s no need. From the very beginning, I never liked Lucas. It was Lucas who forced and made you share with your brother. If Lucas doesn’t have feelings for anymore, then that’s for the best." Louis lowered his eyes as he spoke. His words were clear, yet his gaze was full of sorrow and pain.

Luna never would have imagined that she would end up sharing the person she liked with her brother in this way.

On the other hand, Lucas could hardly accept that he had once shalessly clung to soone, even forcing his sister’s lover to love him as well.

And besides, if Louis truly loved them both, wouldn’t that an he was standing on two boats at once, betraying love’s loyalty? Could he and Luna really accept such a love?

But when he t Louis’s eyes, Lucas’s heart pounded fiercely.

Look at Louis—he clearly said he didn’t love him, yet his expression was full of sorrow and loss when he said it.

Obviously, Louis carried feelings for him too—he was only pretending otherwise!

Lucas stepped forward and embraced Louis, speaking softly: "Luna’s right. Just tell us how we used to love you."

Pressing her cheek against Louis’s back, Luna cooed, her voice sweet and coquettish: "It must have been a sweet story."

Louis gave a faint, fragile smile, gently patting Luna’s and Lucas’s heads. He could feel their bodies stiffen instantly, but he didn’t stop.

After all, it was only a story to make up—there had never been any love story between them. But Louis could always "cook one up."
