In the car.

"What did Dad say to you?" Xifeng patted Bei Yaoyue's thigh beside her and asked.

Bei Yaoyue glanced at the silent driver uncle in the driver's seat and gently shook her head: "Nothing much."

Since it was already quite late after dinner, Bei Yaochen was worried about them taking a taxi ho by themselves, so he had his driver take them back.

Seeing that Bei Yaoyue didn't want to tell her, Xifeng pouted in dissatisfaction, but didn't press further, because she thought about it and realized that her own conversation with Kisaragi Ichika also seed quite inappropriate to share with Bei Yaoyue.

"Oh right!"

Xifeng took out her phone, scrolled around, found a picture, and held it in front of Bei Yaoyue: "Do you recognize these two characters?"

Bei Yaoyue focused her gaze. The image showed two JK girls wearing white T-shirts, cardigans, plaid pleated skirts, and knee-high socks. The black-haired, straight-haired, expressionless girl had pinned the other golden-haired girl, whose face was flushed with embarrassnt, against the wall, holding her cheeks with both hands as they gazed into each other's eyes affectionately.

Their faces were so close they were almost touching, leaving no doubt that if this were an animated image, the next second the two would be kissing passionately.

"Of course I recognize them." Bei Yaoyue nodded. As an artist who had focused on yuri for thirty years, how could she not recognize such famous yuri characters?

She had even taken several commissions to draw NSFW art of these two sisters.

Both characters were from "Citrus," the golden-haired girl nad Yuzu Aihara, and the other black-haired girl was Yuzu's sister, i Aihara. The two beca step-sisters when their parents remarried, and gradually developed feelings that transcended sisterly bonds through their daily interactions, ultimately embarking on an irreversible path of love and conflict.

Looking at it now, this manga's plot had striking similarities to their own situation.

This manga also spawned a very famous term—"citrusy"—which basically anyone who had encountered the broader yuri community would have seen to so extent.

"Should we change to couple avatars?" Xifeng blinked her crimson eyes, pointing at the girls in the image. "Let's use this picture? I'll use i, you use Yuzu."

After thinking about it, Bei Yaoyue nodded: "Alright."

People who weren't familiar with them probably wouldn't recognize these two characters, and people who specifically looked into these characters probably wouldn't reject yuri, so choosing these two characters as couple avatars seed like it wouldn't require too much concern.

The only downside was that in Bei Yaoyue's opinion, the quality of this illustration was sowhat low. She decided to draw a new illustration of Yuzu and i herself when she had ti for them to use as couple avatars.

"But why do I use Yuzu?" Feeling sothing was off, Bei Yaoyue raised an eyebrow. "Wouldn't the black-haired i be more suitable for ?"

"Because in the setting, Yuzu is the older sister and i is the younger sister, and you're the older sister while I'm the younger sister." Xifeng explained with an awkward smile.

Looking at Xifeng half-believingly, Bei Yaoyue didn't think much more about it. She cropped Yuzu's part from the image Xifeng sent and changed it to her avatar, but when she finished changing it and saw Yuzu being pinned against the wall in her avatar, she instantly understood everything.

Actually, the older sister and younger sister thing was a minor matter. What was more important was... i was the T, while Yuzu was the P.

(Note: T, P, H are three-dinsional classifications for yuri, which can be simply understood as T being the top, P being the bottom, H being versatile—generally when with P they're the top, when with T they're the bottom, but it's not absolute.)

Indeed, as Bei Yaoyue thought, this was exactly Xifeng's little sche. She felt that she was a man after all, so she had to regain so face in front of Bei Yaoyue.

Since she was frustrated in reality, she could only salvage a bit of her dignity from such trivial matters, at least creating a psychological illusion that she was counterattacking.

Seeing that Bei Yaoyue seed to believe her explanation, Xifeng secretly breathed a sigh of relief, not knowing that Bei Yaoyue was just too lazy to argue with her about such things.

In Bei Yaoyue's view, Xifeng could at most just talk tough—what use was that? When they really got to bed, wouldn't it still be her call?

Bei Yaoyue glanced at Xifeng and noticed that her brow was constantly shrouded in a layer of lingering gloom.

"Are you still worried about Bai He?"

"Of course, how could I not worry?" Xifeng's willow brows furrowed slightly. "If that man deliberately seeks revenge, Bai He will definitely encounter a lot of trouble, right?"

Looking at Xifeng's worried expression, Bei Yaoyue couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

She felt Xifeng was a bit too kind—toward her, toward friends, even toward strangers. Xifeng always treated everyone with such gentleness and kindness.

Although it was precisely this kindness that completely captured her heart, was this kind of kindness... really a good thing?

Not necessarily.

"Stop thinking about it. I told you it was just my speculation."

For the purpose of comfort, Bei Yaoyue reached out and stroked Xifeng's head. Xifeng cooperatively let out a comfortable soft moan, squinting her eyes and leaning against Bei Yaoyue's shoulder, letting that hand do as it pleased on top of her head.

Looking at Xifeng's blissful expression, Bei Yaoyue smiled and asked her: "Do you like it when I pet your head?"

The Hand of God truly lived up to its na. Just based on this effect, Bei Yaoyue felt it really deserved to be called divine.

Of course, it was the god of H.

The person on her shoulder was silent for a mont, then answered stiffly: "I don't like it."

Although she said she didn't like it, Xifeng showed no signs of resistance or avoidance, making one doubt the truthfulness of that statent.

"I see, if you don't like it then forget it." After saying this, Bei Yaoyue decisively withdrew her hand.

A flash of disappointnt crossed Xifeng's eyes, then she cleared her throat with a slightly flushed face and quickly straightened up.

Although she didn't want to admit it, Bei Yaoyue's head-patting really was very comfortable, so comfortable that Xifeng was almost lost in it.

But she would never admit it no matter what—otherwise where would she put her dignity as a man?!

She was going to beco Bei Yaoyue's husband, so how could she not resist even such a small temptation?

If there was a next ti, she would definitely refuse on the spot for Bei Yaoyue to see!

Bei Yaoyue on the side didn't notice Xifeng's thoughts. She took out her phone and sent a text ssage to Uncle Chen.

"Uncle Chen, please help investigate who the man in this photo is."

She attached a photo she had secretly taken of the man grabbing Bai He's hands, with Bai He's face pixelated out of course.

Bei Yaoyue certainly wouldn't be kind enough to ddle in other people's business to help Bai He, but she didn't want to see Xifeng worry about this, so she decided to intervene.
