Sydney sighed and looked at Lilly who was lying besides her in deep sleep.
Are you really not going to say anything?" Sydney questioned but there was no reply. Obviously this wasn’t a dream and it was reality so how could she believe the latters antics? She sighed after not getting a response for a long ti and fell asleep.
When the morning ca, Sydney woke up to find that Lilly wasn’t by her side. Mm...did I sleep for long?" She asked herself as she pushed herself off the bed. She walked all the way to the first floor after washing her face ajd setting her hair to find that the whole family were each busy. Even her brother had yet to leave for work.
Good morning." She smiled as Lilly rushed over to her side crashing into her embrace.
Good morning." They all greeted her their viuces overlapping.
Let’s have breakfast." Ash had alot of administrative work to handle and couldn’t stay for long but that didn’t an he’d leave so early without getting a chance to look at his beloved.
Wahhh..are we going out?" A voice rang out in Sydney’s mind making her grimace. You don’t need to shout! And besides, didn’t you ignore back then? How brazen of you to make suggestions about my day?’ Sydney rebuked afew muscles on her face twitching.
Let’s eat.’ The voice ignored Sydney and focused on the most important matters at hand.

Sydney walked to the table and they had their breakfast and not long, Ash, Scott and Shawn left for work.

Caden also invited Sydney to go with him to see his father. It had been a while. Sure..let’s go." Sydney readily agreed and Lilly followed after her. Even the small birdie was no different as it sat on top of Sydney’s head hitching a free ride along the way.
As it was day, the city was naturally crowded at the mont and Caden took flight to travel a little faster. Even though the distance wasn’t that alarming, it was long. An hour later, they arrived at the gates of the eagle clan territory and a good nimber of changes could imdiately be spotted.
One of the most noticeable changes was rhe number of stone houses and population. When the guards saw that it was Caden that had returned, they saluted him with a bow and let him through. It was a different case for others, if one dared to fly over just like that, he’d be attacked and so, most had to first fly down, leave a stamp of their stone plaque which had their number, it was the sa for one returned, they’d have to verify their return to the clan through stamping right besides their initial stamp. This rule was mainly for the sake of the females who left the clan to go wander about in the city,though their wild nature was being restricted, they didn’t have much of a choice as this was agreed upon by most of the clan kings.
And besides, those that had stone plaques were houses with a female.
Caden flew over to the clan palace and landed steadily on his back, were his wife and child? No, his family’s female child.
When he arrived, a number of beastn in the vicinity turned to look at him but soon had their eyes shift over to Sydney and Lilly. Their jaws dropped.
What kind of logic was this?! How could such a beautiful female and small female exist?? Those who were astound were naturally the newcors in the clan where as the original residents were surprised with the sudden appearance of Lilly.
When did their Prince’s female give birth to such a grown up girl!? She hadn’t been here for so long but already had such a big girl!! This didn’t make any sense at all!!!
Caden greeted a few of his clansn with a nod and shifted before wrapping his skin skirt around his waist.
Lilly was also looking around, her big black eyes looking at those that looked at her. With her hauty character, she’d definitely disdain them but with her mother here, she’d have to be as innocent as possible so she only blinked on naively.
Let carry you." Caden spoke and reached for her imdiately. His other hand held Sydney’s and they walked into the castle.
Who are they?" So newcor asked his eyes glittering with hearts. His heart couldn’t get Sydney’s image out of his mind. He definitely had to beco part of her family.
Don’t get over your head! That’s our clan’s prince, Caden and that his female, Sydney. You can only look at her but harbouring other designs will only get you beaten or worse killed." An older male warned the latter. Though Sydney wasn’t violent, she had extrely violent males in her side, a re second rank beastman was negligible.
Wherever they went past, many of those that were familiar with Caden would offer their greetings to him but look at Lilly with clear confusion.

Caden paved his way and went to find his father in his chambers. He found that there was a eting taking place. He chose to wait for the ti being.
Do you want to go to my place and rest for a while?" He suggested not wanting Sydney to be bored.
How about we visit Aisha?" Sydney suggested. It had been a while since she last visited this aunt in law of hers.
Okay. Let walk you there." Caden was naturally not against it and they went around the palace.
Reaching Aisha’s quarters, Caden knocked on the stone door. The door was imdiately bolted open. "Who.." the male almost bellowed out but on seeing Caden, his black face turned colourful. The beastman was one of Aisha’s mates.
Oh..prince..." his expression took a hundred degree turn.
What? Caden’s back?" Aisha’s voice rang out before her steps followed. Soon, her beautiful fra ca in sight but before she could happily welco this nephew of her, she was shocked and stunned speechless looking at the girl in his arms. Yi?" She was surprised beyond words.
Aisha, this is Lilly our family’s daughter." Caden introduced Lilly and turned to Sydney. His ssage clear. I’ll leave the rest to you. He then bolted away from sight after placing Lilly down.
"How..how.. how’s this possible?" Aisha found her voice once again but she was still trembling lightly. "Co..tell how you do it!!!" Aisha drsgged Sydneyand her daughter into her chambers.
Caden walked back to the eting hall and made his way in. While he could co and go as he pleased, it wouldn’t be right to bring his female over.
There were a total of eighteen elders in the place. Not elders by features, they were elders by age despite their strikingly young appearances. This was thrice the number he left in the city.
Carlos saw Caden and features for him to walk over. Caden’s seat wasn’t occupied despite him not being around, it had been left unused.
Caden walked over and made his greeting to the few elders and his father before seating himself down. He didn’t say anything and only listened attentively so that he could find the direction of the topic that was being discussed.
Aside from the elders, the room also consisted of other younger males but they wer all standing each behind their respective elders.
You see, though many had compromised to stay in the city, not many were willing to compromise their positions as leaders. And so, Carlos had to establish the chiefs council to avoid his clan ending up with internal scuffle over power. They were kings where they ca from but in this city, they had been reduced to chiefs but what could they do? Carlos was the current King of the eagle clan who was acknowledged by all in this city, and they, they could be considered as re guests, they didn’t dare be audicious. It was Carlos’s wish to be accommodative towards them.
The discussion ca to an end with Caden not inputting a thing. He took his ti to observe them one after the other.
So this is the young prince of the eagle clan of the beast city." An elder shot a glance at Caden sizing him up . He also had his own son who was capable and dominering too.
Yes. This is my boy." Carlos was prideful of course and didn’t be polite at all.
I heard that the young prince apparently is part of the city lord’s family...what great fortune for the eagle clan."
Great fortune indeed! To have a female at such a young age and also have connections to the the city lord...our clan is lucky." Another added. As for whether they were genuinely happy for the clan, that’d be up to them.
Hahah...my boy is already so old but isn’t lucky enough to have a female to catch his fancy. This old feels extrely worried lately." A chief said and the others burst out laughing at his misfortune. Sigh...since we belong to the sa clan, I hope the young prince won’t mind introducing my son to your female. If he is lucky, that way, our bonds as clansn would expand."
His words caused the whole place to call into silence.
