Ray walked over till he could see Sydney against a group of beasts. In her hands was a dirty looking female, she was glaring hard at Sydney.
The sight of her murderous eyes sent Ray into killing mood! He gritted his teeth but kept his murderous aura in check. He knew when to act and not let his emotions get the better of him.
"I’m going to let your female go on one condition. She’s looses her poisonous tongue!" Sydney said ruthlessly leaving the males present not know who was the brutal one. This punishnt was a little too much!!
"I don’t wish to have innocent parties suffer. So, I either deal with her so you can take her or..." she left the unsaid to their imagination. The air beca tense as war intent boiled from both sides.
"Ha!" The female sneered. Her eyes shifted to her mates’ and she jeered. "If anything happens to , your destination will be no different! I’m getting out of this matter alive and unhard!" she nacingly threatened.
Though Sydney was a little too much, she had compromised and not semt her mates on a killing spree. If she killed their mate, it ant that her mates would habe to kill them since they’d have beco strays!
Sydney looked at the woman at her rcy and didn’t even know what to feel. She had wanted to kill her but withheld back alot! Now what?
She nodded her head in understanding and let the female go with a sigh. She felt that this woman wouldn’t make it past the threshold of her fence alive..She doesn’t know why but she did anyway.
No one expected her to do this.
Even the prisoner that was let go was also puzzled. She turned and looked at Sydney with her hard gaze. She looked at the five ferocious beasts standing behind her and worried to give this group her back. She took two steps away from Sydney with her eyes locked on her.
Sydney t her gaze. "What? don’t want to leave? Want to die so badly?" She asked expressionlessly.
"I just knew you didn’t have the guts!" The female gloated.
Don’t try woman! I’m only doing this in consideration to the fact that your death will impact alot of males in this city! Selling you is useless too. So be off and don’t let your wild mind let loose ever again!"
Sydney breathed heavily and turned to leave. However, she had just cast the group her back when she heard the tearing of flesh and a spine numbing scream from behind her. Her skull tingled as she felt the soone sheild her with his huge warm body. Caden rushed towards her and stuffed her face in his chest.
Loud growls, screeches, howls and painful cries rang out in the crowd behind her. She attempted to push herself to see what was going on but Caden’s hand on her head didn’t let her.
Shawn looked in disbelief at the new guy! He knew him!!! "Ray!" he let out a shaky breathe as he uttered that na.
Ash frowned. This new guys seed familiar to him but he didn’t recall much! Who was he? When was there a ninth rank beastman in the city of beasts without his knowledge.
A massacre that didn’t last longer than five minutes broke out leaving not only Sydney’s mate’s aghast but also the other parties that weren’t involved in this matter.
All eyes were on Ray who was covered in blood of over twenty males. His deep blue eyes were ruthless that even the different kings couldn’t help but growl at him.
Ray wasn’t to let a future threat leave unscathed. Not only was he angry that Sydney’s current mates’ were only for show but also the fact that she had let the female off with only a warning!
He looked at his masterpiece on the ground and heaved a sigh of relief. The burned on his heart was lifted. Then he shifted his blue eyes to the group of kings looking at him with stupified expressions. They were leaders but weren’t as daring as this guy!
"Why are you looking like you’ve suffered a great deal?! Does the city of beasts lack such talents?" He asked with a snicker and walked over to the fence of Sydney’s ho.
The guts of this man! All kings deadpanned.
Ash was blocking her from the blood that almost fell on her as she was in Caden’s embrace.
"You dirtied our ho!" Titan who imdiately liked this guy comnted.
The city residents were aghast. The lives didn’t matter but the stone and ground mattered?
"I’ll make sure to clean up. Can we talk?" He asked.
"What atrocious act is this?!" One king couldn’t stand it!
"Want to join them?" Ray asked not bothering to look at the enraged king.
"Who are you? You aren’t from around here!" The king who was told off hissed.
"I’m not! Hence the city laws don’t govern or my actions! What? Disatisfied?" Ray looked at the beast with murder intent. These laws were drafted by him, Ash and a few other confidants! This guy wasn’t even alive then!
Sydney finally managed to break free from her mate’s hard grip, her face was flushed red. She rubbed her pink nose and turned to see who had been speaking. But Caden cupped her eyes again not allowing her to catch that sight before her.
"Fine! I won’t look!" She groaned irritated.
Ray who wasn’t far shifted his eyes from Titan who had approached to talk and looked at Sydney, his eyes softened.
Titan caught this and frowned a little. He now really didn’t like this guy’s anymore.
Shawn on the other hand looked at Ray in a daze. His intense gaze caught Ray’s attention and he looked over. This lucky fool!! He actually t Sydney earlier than him!?
Shawn diverted his gaze away.
Ignoring ? I see. He nodded and looked at Sydney. "Good morning Sydney!" he greeted.
Titan and Caden frowned. Ken felt his head musclea throb. This guy! How does he know the greeting. Sydney was the one who introduced this form of greeting..how did this new beast know it?
Sydney who couldn’t pluck Caden’s hands away could only create a small gap from his fingers and look at the person that had greeted her.
She was surprised to see the blue eyed male who was badly injured just yesterday standing at her entrance. She broke free from Caden and wanted to step forward but was swept away by another jealous mate.
Titan used his tail to coil her over for two various reasons. One was to prevent her from get blood on herself and the other was to show this new male who Sydney belonged to.
"You know him?" Titan hissed once she was at his chest level.
Ray held his breathe. She could easily say she didn’t know him!
"Yes! I saved him yesterday!" Sydney agreed breaking a smile from Ray. He thought she’d say she didn’t know him! He was delighted she was still as before! His heart thumped sweetly
Sydney looked back at Ray. "What are you doing here? Weren’t you with Hamp?" She asked.
Hamp tried to drown his presence but Titan’s sharp eyes caught him.
"Who are you?" Ash asked. The strong scent of blood dominated the air around which was a matter that he couldn’t ignore.
Hearing his question,any of the beastn who had assud he also reigned from Sydney’s ho pricked their ears.
What was this male’s motive in killing not only a female but also all her mates without batting an eyelid.
Ray laughed and looked at Shawn. "Should I introduce myself?" He asked provocatively. He had noticed sothing and knew Shawn recognized him but Ash looked confused. His best target was obviously Shawn.
All eyes turned to Shawn. Even Sydney looked over Titan’s shoulder to cast Shawn an inquisitive look.
"Why play mind gas? Speak already! Who are you? Do also harbor designs on our female?" Ken yelled out.
"When adults speak, cubs should shut up!" Ray paid no regard to Ken.
Ken turned red, blue and green all in a second! The insult didn’t sit well with him!
Shawn took a deep breathe and looked at Sudt. "Can he co in?" He requested. He wasn’t ready to let Ray go one rumbling about so things they couldn’t be casually said.
"I refuse! He either says who he is or he does here!" Titan didn’t budge.
"I also don’t consent! A male like you doesn’t deserve to enter our abode!" Caden also deadpanned..This male could kill so easily, what would they gain from inviting him over!
"Please co in!" Sydney opened her mouth and let Ray in. This left her mates frowing in confusion.
"Stop looking like I served you your own waste! I said I saved him..if there’s sothing he wished to say, we can only grant him and listen to what he has to say." Sydney smiled at Ray. "If he is so sort of thug, I’ll ask you guys to beat him up!" She assured them.
