Demir returned to the scorpion castle in a bright mood. He noticed his father near his room and walked to him "Father?"
The scorpion king looked up to him in a worried face "Where were you gone Demir? the guards said that your poison was acting up again, I was worried and ca here to look for you"
Seeing his father’s anxious face he felt happy for the first ti, he always blad his father for his mother’s indifference towards him. But now he realized how fortunate he was to have soone who always worried about him, what his sunshine said was true, he just had to look around him properly to find soone who cared for him, he smiled faintly "I’m fine now father, sorry for worrying you"
The scorpion king flinched at his place, ’Did Demir smile at ?’ he awkwardly smiled back "I’m glad that you are fine son"
Demir nodded his head and tried to walk inside his room, but his father’s voice stopped him "Wait son, I have sothing important to discuss with you"
He turned to his father "What is it?"
The King fidgeted in his place but soon opened his mouth "The fox king arranged a eting between you and his daughter, I heard that she is pretty, will you et her?"
Demir narrowed his eyes "I’m not interested in sothing so la"
His father sighed tiredly "You have to start getting interested. Just how many days are you planning to stay alone like this?"
"Don’t worry, I already found soone who I want to spend my life with" he replied catching his father off guard
"What?" his father asked with wide eyes
Demir grinned at him "I t a female today, she helped when I was suffering from my poison, I wish to spend my entire life with her"
"Stop joking," his father said eying him suspiciously
Demir chuckled "You can think however you want but make sure to keep that fox king away from our tribe, he is bad news"
His father nodded his head, "I’ll keep that in my mind" then he asked "By the way, who is that female you fancy? Is she pretty?"
Demir smiled gently "She is very pretty, golden hair with ocean blue eyes, she is beautiful"
The scorpion king’s expression beca stiff "Then I bet she already has mates?"
Demir’s eyes turned cold "I’ll kill them"
"Don’t you dare!" his father warned him
Demir frowned at his father’s words, his father was never this rash with him, "Then do you expect to let go of my sunshine?"
The King cringed because of his son’s endearnt for his female and opened his mouth "It’s not like that Demir, I just don’t want you to end up like , what if your female behaves like your mother after you kill her mates?"
"Don’t compare her to that woman" Demir snapped
"I’m not comparing anyone!" his father’s loud voice resounded inside the castle, the king glared at Demir and spoke "We are inside the beast city because we agreed to thier rules and custom. And I don’t want your mistake to put our whole tribe in jeopardy. So of our tribesn succeeded in finding mates because they tolerated their females’ other males, they are suppressing their possessiveness respecting my words and as a prince of our tribe, you want to destroy this peace?"
The King took a step forward "Don’t do sothing impulsive and then regret it" he turned around to walk away but halted his steps and looked at his son "Think for a minute if you are capable of handling the hate of the female you like. she may treat you nicely for ti being but after learning the truth she will detest you, think properly son" he added and stord out of the place.
Demir stood rooted in his spot after hearing his father’s words. He questioned himself ’Will I be able to handle her hating ?’ ’Will I be brave enough to stand her sad face?’ ’Would she cry after her mates’ death? What if she never smiles so brightly after that?’ No! he never wanted sothing like that, he wants to continue watching her happy face all his life, he wants to protect her precious personality, the one which made him fall for her at first sight.
He closed his eyes and soon opened it with a resolute look, if it ant staying with her, he would try not to mind her other mates. He chuckled because of his pitiful situation, he never imagined himself to be the one to beco so vulnerable because of a female, life was indeed unpredictable.

Jacob slumped on his chair and held his forehead "You don’t understand my predicant Lexi, my strongest ally the scorpion tribe are avoiding , their king is refusing to et , I sohow managed to gain his support by ntioning you mating with his son, but that arrogant prince refused to even et you" then be looked into his daughter’s eyes "I can’t lose them, I must at least get one immortal beastman’s support"
Lexi fiddled with her hair in thought, then opened her mouth "I want to et him, arrange a bonfire for " her eyes glittered mischievously "It will be fun taming an immortal beastman, I will make him lick my feet once I make him mine"
Jacob smiled slyly "You are the best my daughter"
She grinned in return then asked curiously "Where is Michael? He is finally a king, I want to congratulate him"
Jacob chuckled "It’s not a big deal, he just received his seat from his forr lord"
She frowned in confusion "Received?"
Jacob nodded his head "The previous stray beast king forfeited his seat and the amazing fact is he reclaid his seat once again but as a vulture king, that crazy fellow"
"How can he do that? Isn’t he a stray beast to claim a normal seat?" Lexi questioned
Jacob shook his head "He is a normal beastman who forcefully took hold of stray beasts king seat. He is the most arrogant and stubborn beastman I have ever encountered, unfortunately, he is also an immortal beastman"
"Then I would like to et him, too" she casually added
Jacob widened his eyes "Never! Lexi never try to get close to him, he is a lunatic" he warned her then he added "Now that he has a female it is unlikely for him to like you"
"He got himself a female?" she inquired
He nodded his head "She is also the mate of snake king and silver wolf tribe’s prince"
She raised her elegant brows "Lucas? Weren’t you trying to make him Elena’s male?"
Jacob rolled his eyes "Elena that useless girl, she was unable to convince Lucas"

Jacob blinked his eyes "You are mistaken"

She smirked "So she is an unwanted female who was relinquished by her tribe"
"I don’t think so" he comnted, for that female to be sent out of her tribe? that is nonsense. He then stared at her "You can decide on your own after eting her in the bonfire"
She smiled "I will et her, I’m also going to invite Elena, I want her to teach that wench a lesson"
"What are you planning?" Jacob asked doubtfully
She side-eyed him "You don’t need to know everything I’m about to perform, it’s not like you reveal all your secrets to father"
Jacob squinted his eyes and maintained his silence, he didn’t want to reveal his goal to anyone. Lexi gritted her teeth in annoyance and left the room.
After walking out of the castle she reached the black wolf tribe’s castle with one of her mates. Inside the castle, an attractive ebony-colored haired female was laying on the bed, the female opened her eyes sparkling black orbs hearing so noise, and smiled "Lexi"
Lexi put a worried face and went towards the bed "How are you?"
Elena frowned in confusion, Lexi said with a sad face "I heard that Lucas refused to beco your mate, I know that you truly loved him"
Elena gritted her teeth and smiled awkwardly "It is nothing, he is just sad about sothing, he will definitely beco my mate soday"
Lexi gasped "Oh poor thing, you didn’t know that Lucas already mated with soone else?’
Elena’s face crumbled "What are you talking about?"
"You should get a grip, he is the one at loss for refusing you" then she smirked inwardly "But I don’t understand why he would reject you for so ugly female?"
Elena clenched her fists, her nails digging inside her palm "Who is that vixen who stole my Lucas from ?"
Lexi patted her shoulder "My father is holding a bonfire soon, we will be able to et her there"
"I’ll kill her!" Elena said with bloodshot eyes
Lexi smirked, well her job here was done.
