After becoming a little comfortable with her dress, she started moving around the house and darted her eyes curiously. This was new to her, how many tis does one transmigrate into a different world? The idea itself was mind-boggling for her. But after so ti, she started to feel sad thinking about the absence of her parents and friends in this world. Furthermore, she got anxious about the possibility of people finding out about her secret in this world.
Lucas chuckled as he continued watching so many different expressions in a small-ti on her adorable face and suddenly felt that she was even more beautiful and started laughing loudly.
Seeing him laughing so loudly, Lyra broke from her train of thoughts and impatiently asked him, "Why are you laughing like that? Do you find funny?"
Lucas finished his laugh and said "You looked so adorable thinking sothing with a serious face that I couldn't control myself"
After hearing a complint addressing her as adorable Lyra started blushing. It was even more when she received it from a gorgeous young man like Lucas. She felt like grinning like a fool but suppressed it in front of him.
"Can you please give sothing to eat? I'm starving from the morning. And I promise that I'll pay you back after I beco familiar around here" she was hungry and after the chase from that stupid boar, she was utterly exhausted.
"I'm sorry I forgot, I'll imdiately roast so at for you" He replied and started skinning the wild boar which he killed today and started cleaning it.
Nothing more to do, Lyra stood up from her place, but painfully halted her steps when her soles pressed the ground "Ahh"
Lucas imdiately left what he was doing and ran to her and held her legs in his hands. Her fair and slender legs were covered with minor scratches and her soles were covered with blood and dust because of running. His heart ached to see her injured and he started to lick her wounds.
Lyra furiously blushed because of his licking and slightly pushed him saying "I'm fine, I will be okay after washing my legs and resting. Please don't lick that, it is dirty"
Lucas didn't listen to her, how could he have neglected this? He felt horrible for not taking good care of her.
"It is so swollen. I should take you to the doctor"
"It's okay and I'm fine. Go get so water to wash the wound"
He looked up at her making puppy eyes that were filled with tears making her heartache.
she suddenly didn't know whether to laugh or cry. It was just a little wound that would be fine after cleaning. she sighed and said in a soft voice consoling him.
"I'm really fine and this is nothing. I have had many injuries like these when I was a kid "
After coaxing him for so ti, he started to relax. Still, he didn't let her do the cleaning and gently did it himself as though he was touching a delicate flower.
Then Lyra tasted the at he prepared and went blank for a good minute. This fellow did not know how to cook and this was going to beco a big problem in the future. Well, she could cook it herself from now on because becoming independent was necessary.
With so difficulty, she finished her food and started thinking of the things she could do to make a living here. She can't always be a freeloader, so she thought of hunting but very soon discarded it thinking that it was dangerous and after so ti, she stopped thinking because she felt sleepy. Her beauty sleep was more important than thinking.
After setting the grass best, Lucas called her
"Female co and sleep, it is already late"
she turned to him "Why do you keep calling female? I have a na, call that"
"Okay Ly, co and sleep"
she blinked "What is Ly? why are calling that?" that was her father's nickna for her. How dare he.
"This is the nickna I'm giving you. I will address you as Ly from now on"
she glared at him, "Of course, I know that, and don't call like that, we are not that close"
"I called you that because you are my female" he declared.
"who is your female? I don't even know you that well"
"That's why I gave you a nickna and asked you to sleep beside . We will slowly get to know each other that way," he said eyeing her from top to bottom.
she was dumbfounded because of his shalessness and went to a corner of the house sitting on her knees.
"I don't want to get to know you. I'm okay with sleeping here"
He didn't talk anymore and went to her and easily scooped her up in his arms and set her into his nest which he prepared and held her tightly and closed his eyes
Lyra didn't even have ti to complain and started struggling to get away from him. Lucas as on cue groaned freezing her movents.
"Don't move around, I'm barely controlling myself" he said hoarsely
Lyra didn't understand his words at first but when sothing hot and hard started poking her back, she went numb and didn't even breathe the whole night.
'What have I gotten myself into!?'
