Chapter 438: Take Responsibility for
Bluepool locked onto Bai Qingqing’s shoulder tightly and anxiously asked, “Where is she? I’ll go look for her right away.”
“I don’t know. She should be coming to the sea herself.” Bai Qingqing said the truth and looked at Bluepool with a pleading gaze. “Can you send up?”
Hearing that, Bluepool suddenly cald down and let go of her.
“No.”
Bai Qingqing’s heart sank. Bluepool’s words were like a pail of iced water, drenching her heart cold.
When Bluepool saw her like that, his heart ached, and he softened his tone.
“I have to ascertain that what you said is true first. What if you lie to again?”

Bluepool said, “I’ll bring you to a place that is near the shores to hide. If what you say isn’t true, then you’ll mate with after coming back. If what you say is true… if I were to let you go, Jean wouldn’t accept , either. You’ll have to take responsibility for .”
Bai Qingqing thought about this quickly and nodded decisively. “Alright!”
She’d just look for a wife for Bluepool, then. He didn’t say that it had to be her, anyway.
She hoped that he wouldn’t mind. Although the females on land weren’t as beautiful as Jean, at least they had fewer mates.
Things were decided just like that.
Bluepool blew a bubble that was just big enough to contain Bai Qingqing and got her to enter.
“You won’t be easily discovered with a smaller bubble. Breath lighter, the oxygen inside isn’t a lot. If you feel uncomfortable, tell . I’ll change the air for you, then.” Bluepool instructed.
“I’ve got it. Let’s go, quickly.”

After Parker went back up to the shore, he didn’t just wait. He entrusted the cubs to the peacock and then ran to the forest in search of the ape king and Jean.
If possible, he wished to take care of them on the shore.

With the help from the peacock village, Parker managed to find the two of them easily.
“How long more do we have to go?” A soft female voice rang out in the forest, sounding so pleasant that it was like the sound of a kingfisher.
Jean was feeling bored as she leaned on the ape king’s back, holding onto a dogstail grass, and brushing it against the plants they passed by.
“We’ll be reaching soon. I can sense the sll of the ocean.”
The ape king said. He excelled in climbing, but in order to carry Jean on his back, he could only run on the land. This slowed him down by a lot, causing them to spend two months before arriving at this place.
Parker hid amongst the branches and leaves of a big tree in front of them and slowed his breathing as if he had beco a part of the tree.
