Chapter 1640: Did Not Learn Basketball Skills, But Infatuation
“Ah–!” a low grunt sounded, it was a man’s voice.
“Zhan Jin Cheng!” Bai Lan freaked out too, calling out worriedly.
“It’s nothing, Bai Lan... Don’t worry... I’m fine...” Zhan Jin Cheng’s voice was extrely weak. He had desperately fought with them when they tried to kidnap Bai Lan. Even though he was from the basketball team, with a better physical fitness than them, but even a fierce tiger cannot defeat a pack of wolves. Furthermore, there were over a dozen people who were ard, causing him to already be injured all over just after attacking three or four people.
Eventually, all he could do was protect Bai Lan with his life, trying not to let her get hurt.
With that blow, he had already maximized all his remaining energy to turn their bodies such that Bai Lan would face backwards, while his calves got viciously whipped by that woman.
The bones in his calves... were probably broken.
He probably could not play basketball from now on.
However, the mont the pain spread throughout his body, the first thing on his mind was actually... thankfully she was not the one who got hurt.
“Ha, what a loving saint.” The woman laughed sarcastically.
Zhan Jin Cheng spitted out the blood foam in his mouth, “It may have been that despite your long ti spent with Snake, you did not learn basketball skills, but infatuation. I may not be a loving saint... but as long as I, Zhan Jin Cheng, have one last breath, I will not let you hurt a single hair on Bai Lan.”
When the woman heard Snake’s na, she clearly paused for a while, then gritted her teeth loudly, turning to look at Gu ngng. That gaze was colder than a poisonous scorpion.
“The person lying on the apex of Snake’s heart... If he treated you like such a treasure, why would he let you co here alone? Ha, seems like you are nothing more than that.” The woman said as she walked towards Gu ngng, the wooden stick dragging on the floor, creating a light sound from the friction.
The five years Gu ngng had spent in the Beast World were not for nothing. She may not be able to attack like the orcs, but against present world people... perhaps even the fighting champions may not have much of a chance of winning her.
After all, those who trained with her in the Beast World were all of the strongest, fiercest beasts.
However, before any attack, Gu ngng felt it was essential for her to first clear up so doubts, so she looked away from Bai Lan, and at the woman approaching her instead, asking, “But... who are you?”
The woman stunned, her eyes not leaving Gu ngng with disbelief, only to find she was actually confused yet calm, clearly really not knowing who she was.
“Ha? ... Hahaha... who am I? You caused my family to fall apart, but now you’re asking who I am? ... Hahaha...”
What could be more cruel than soone who did not even rember you, despite you hating them to death, jealous of them to craziness and resenting them so much you beca monstrous?
“?” Gu ngng pointed at her own nose, feeling rather wronged.
She had only transmigrated back this morning, and was just in school attending lessons in the morning, going to the basketball club in the late noon, and was called here before she could even enter her ho.
She would not mind causing this woman, who had hurt Bai Lan, to fall apart with her family, but she must have had so ti to do so...
“Gu– ng– ng! Go and die, you should go and die!” The woman said, as she fiercely pounced towards Gu ngng, waving her wooden stick downwards at her.
Gu ngng tilted her body sideways, easily avoiding her attack. Having witnessed many fights between Elvis and Snake, the actions of this woman seed as slow as a snail. Gu ngng kicked one foot towards that woman’s ankle, with one hand pinching her wrist. With a ruthless twist, the wooden stick in her hands dropped down.
