Chapter 1597: A Way To Settle It Once And For All

linda lowered her head and smiled as she replied to Carter using soundwaves. She repeated everything Elvis had done and concluded that even if she had the intentions to, the rmaids had all been frightened by him and none of them would dare to go near Gu ngng anymore.

Gu ngng also understood that Elvis’ previous behavior was not because of an impulsive reaction to Jimmy’s challenge. He was warning the others by using a fight that lasted a second, so as to ward off the other rmaids with ulterior motives. This was the only way to settle it once and for all.

But it made the situation a little awkward. After all, it was just a kind intention of linda.

So Gu ngng cleared her throat and said, “After making the arrangents for Kiss of the Ocean, I am going to stay in the desert. Sigh, the sandstorm there is strong and there’s no water, the thought of it is so painful...”

linda was also not a fool, how could she not understand that Gu ngng was giving her an out?

She was aning to say that she won’t be staying in the ocean the whole ti, and rmaids cannot stay without water for long, so she won’t keep an Ocean tribe mber as her partner.

This was a standard response. Originally, linda also did not intend on buttering up to Gu ngng, but thinking that all the rmaids were good-looking and different from land beasts, she would naturally be glad if Gu ngng liked any of them.

But now it seems that Elvis and Lea would not agree to it. After all, Gu ngng did not seem to have any intentions of expanding her family, so she would not force it upon her anymore.

The ceremony still continued and was not disrupted by this small incident.

The songs and dance celebrated a sign of peace, creating a similar feel to the Victory Banquet in the Heavenly World.

After all, the rmaid Tribe was the only tribe that could appreciate music.

The birds could also sing, but they could not play instrunts and could only produce sounds using their voice.

But the rmaids were different. They would produce different sounds from different types of shellfishes, coral, turtle shells and stones, eventually creating a harmonious tune.

Compared to a concert in the present world, it was still lacking, but it was considered the most entertaining performance during the many years that Gu ngng had been in the Beast World.

Lea handed over the shellfish muscles to Gu ngng and said to her ears, “I have tried it. There’s no poison on the muscles after removing the flesh, what are you intending to do with it?”

Gu ngng took a muscle and stretched it. It was very elastic, but it seed to be slightly thin, so she took three strings of muscles. As if she was braiding, she braided the muscles and strung 18 red coral pearls together. At the end, she tied a dead knot and tied a simple Chinese knot above it. Then, below the Chinese knot, she placed so scrap material to complete the red coral bracelet.

Gu ngng wore the bracelet on her wrist. With a smile, she looked at Elvis and asked, “Hubby, does this look nice?”

Elvis stroked her little head dotingly and lovingly, and replied, “In my eyes, you will look good no matter what.”

“Tsk, such a sweet talker who’s full of lies.” Gu ngng said this, but the corner of her mouth had been rising.

Elvis held her little chin up and looked straight at her eyes. With his eyes filled with gentleness deeper than the ocean, he said seriously, “I have seen your crying face when you looked the most pathetic and seen you when you were in your most natural state in the morning. I know how frustrated you are when you are on your period, I also know how fragile you are when you are emotional. I have seen you when you are the most beautiful and ugliest, but regardless, I like them all. So long as it is you, I cannot turn my eyes away.”
