Chapter 1551: Won’t You Kill ?
“I know that you are not weak, but I can’t bring myself to fight back.” Cole gave a bitter and helpless smile, while shaking his head in a self-mocking manner, then said, “You should think back about whether I had hard you at all during those tis that made you hate .”
Indeed, no matter how many tis Cole had infuriated Gu ngng, he had never really touched her at all.

Then, he said, “We are really alike – we are so protective of people we care about, and so cold towards people we don’t care... The only difference is that you are concerned about Elvis, Lea, Chixuan, Sandy and everyone else except . As for , right from the start, I only cared about you. But Ah Gu, what is the difference between the people you care about and ?”
Gu ngng clenched her fist and was speechless.
Cole had previously been beaten up by Wales because of Auretin. Even if he had a Beast King’s capability, it was unlikely for him to recover within such a short amount of ti from the beating by a demigod. Yet he did not recuperate properly and travelled a long way with them to the Snake King valley, all so that he could fall in love with her then give her the Spirit of the Rocky Cliffs.
Even though they were both Beast Kings, foxes were born weaker than wolves. Moreover, because of the injuries that he had sustained, he would be at a disadvantage during the battle with Elvis. If Gu ngng had been more rational and looked at him closely, she would have easily realised that the huge hole in his chest had not yet recovered. Compared to the faint pink scar on Elvis’ body, Cole was obviously more heavily injuried.
But she only cared about Elvis and hit Cole without any other considerations, causing him to collapse to the ground and spit blood.
What Cole had said was right. With regards to this, she was really like him.
She only cared about the people she was concerned about and did not care about the life and death of others.
Gu ngng pursed her lips with her eyes reddening.
It was unknown whether it was because Cole had revealed the fact, or because of him spitting blood. After enduring for so ti, she said ruthlessly, “But at least I did not kill you!”
“Won’t you kill ?” Cole replied calmly. His smile was so gentle, as though he was saying, “The winter would pass, the flowers you love would bloom and the fruits you like would bear fruits.”
Gu ngng’s brows were tightly furrowed. Her fists had been clenched tight by the side of her body the whole ti. She clenched her teeth for a long ti and slowly loosened her fist, saying to him, “Right, I will eventually kill you. After I undo the bewitching spell on Chixuan, I will definitely kill you. But Cole, you are different from Oakley, you are not innocent.”
Cole laughed softly, “If you did not remind , I would have forgotten... Sorry, there were too many things that I have done to make you hate and I did not think of it. But Ah Gu, you have so people that you care about, why did I kill such an unimportant person like Oakley? If I wanted to torture you, he, he, Chixuan or Sandy would all be good candidates, isn’t it?”
Cole’s fingers swept from Lea to Elvis, then dropped without any energy left. He laughed bitterly, “I would want to keep anyone that you like or even protect them for you. But anyone who betrays you... I cannot allow them to live on.”
