Chapter 1545: Happy Wedding Anniversary
Gu ngng rubbed her hands and shrugged her shoulders, then said with a smile, “Unfortunately there’s no more alcohol, otherwise I would have gotten both of you drunk today.”
Elvis and Lea exchanged glances. Ever since that ti when they were both drunk and Gu ngng made use of that chance to fulfill her desire as a woman who enjoys watching male homosexuals, they had never drunk alcohol together again.
Between the two of them, one had to stay sober so that they would not do anything that would trigger the dirty thoughts in Gu ngng.
Gu ngng carried three cups of water over in a well-behaved manner and passed them out to Elvis, Lea, then herself. Clinking their cups, she said sweetly, “Hubby, husband, happy wedding anniversary. There is no alcohol, so let’s toast with our water to celebrate the occasion?”
“Happy wedding anniversary.”
“Happy wedding anniversary.”
Elvis and Lea said at the sa ti and smiled gently and blissfully.
There was no calendar in the Beast World, so they used the first day of winter as their wedding anniversary day.
Three of them were sumberged in bliss and sweetness, whereas Cole, who was sitting at the side, was isolated.
There was nothing to cover up Snakel’s cave. After all, before Gu ngng ca, only Snakel had stayed here.
They were sharing the sa space, yet Cole could not join them at all.
Holding his chest with his hand, Cole laughed bitterly.
He knew that he was seeking torture by following them, yet he had only started to feel this miserable now. He could not think of how he would survive this long winter.
Gu ngng was not concerned about Cole and continued to reminisce the interesting events that had taken place during that year with Elvis and Lea while eating. At tis, she would bla coquettishly, and sotis she would hold her stomach in laughter, causing Cole to be unable to turn his eyes away from her. So he stared and waited, hoping that she might ntion him at all.
Even if she was expressing her hatred.
Unfortunately, she did not even say a word about him.
After ssing around for an entire day, Gu ngng was so fatigued that she fell into deep sleep in Elvis’ arms.
“Carry her in to sleep, ngng does not like it when others watch her sleep.” While clearing the cutleries, Lea told Elvis.
Elvis nodded and carried Gu ngng into a hole that they dug before winter. This place could be considered a separate room for the three of them to rest during winter.
Cole was allowed to stay in the cave but not allowed to go near this room.
He was clear about his position and knew his motive, so he would not do anything that would anger Gu ngng. He only stayed quietly at the corner and stared at the door to the room, reluctant to look away, as though he could see the person who was sleeping soundly through the wall.
After Lea cleared everything, he did not enter the room. Instead, he sat beside Cole. He did not look at Cole and only sat beside him, saying nonchalantly, “What you said to ngng that day was a lie, right?”
Cole also did not look at him and laughed secretively, “Ah Gu has psychology knowledge. There is low chance of success in lying in front of her.”
Lea nodded his head in agreent and said, “True, she was no longer that young female beast who had just co to this world, and would believe anything. So if you want to deceive her, you have to use a 100 percent true story, with 20 percent misinformation and 30 percent acting... What had happened to our brothers was true, and your motive for earning my favour is also true, but... If you really only wanted to save yourself, you could have left. With such a big world, which place would not be big enough for you to hide in?”
