Chapter 1447: This Sequence Could Not Go Wrong
The turbulence in Cole’s eyes did not go unnoticed by Gu ngng. If not for the fact that the Soul of the Forest had already completely rged with his body and so of Cole’s bewitching spell still lingered in Chixuan—she would have killed him without any hesitation.
But now was not the right ti.
They must first assemble all seven treasures before they could kill Cole. This sequence could not go wrong.
Glaring imperiously, Gu ngng spat a single word. “Impudent.” Cole imdiately went soft and collapsed to his knees.
The overwhelming sense of oppression had Cole unable to even lift his head. Like a chained beast, the thicker the tal chains were, the more intense the desire to struggle and escape.
Cole couldn’t withstand Gu ngng’s strong pressure but this increased his desire to pounce toward her and dominate her. To watch her submit herself beneath him and try all ans to cater to his whims.
“Elder Eugene, please escort your king back to rest. Don’t let him stay here and spoil my mood.” Gu ngng commanded as she swept a cold glance across. She looked nonchalantly bored but her eyes still beheld an undeniable aura of absolute authority.
“Right away.” Elder Eugene imdiately knelt beside Cole and together with another elder, they half-supported and half-dragged Cole away.
The bonfire party continued after this minor disturbance.
Gu ngng usually attended such events to show her face and let everyone know she was still well and alive. Today’s party held another objective, which was to introduce Gregory. She wished to leave now that both objectives had been accomplished.
After all...
Every bonfire party always ended in a wildlife version of the dating ga show “If You Are the One”. Thereafter, there would be a mass display of love, the scene of which... was rather too intense for her eyes.
Gu ngng was just about to go over and say goodbye to Sandy, but before she could even lift her leg, she saw soone walking slowly toward Sandy.
Gu ngng felt soone holding her waist. It was Lea.
Gu ngng turned to look at Lea, who pointed toward Sandy’s direction with his chin. Gu ngng followed his gaze to see a snow fox standing sincerely in front of Sandy’s bonfire. He held a bunch of fresh flowers and smiled appropriately, looking sowhat like a prince charming.
“Sandy, for you.” The one holding the flowers was not just any random male, but Arnold, the one who had stood outside Sandy’s territory for several days.
Sandy was stunned. She had heaved a sigh of relief, thinking that Arnold had already given up. Who knew he would approach her again?
Distressed, Sandy stole a quick glimpse at Gu ngng, who also shrugged in confusion.
Lea whispered in Gu ngng’s ear. “He promised not to stand outside Sandy’s territory, but today is the bonfire party and anyone can confess their feelings to their desired female. We have no right to stop him.”
Gu ngng held her forehead as she shot Sandy a helpless look.
Arnold behaved as if he didn’t notice Sandy exchanging glances with Gu ngng. He chuckled. “I just saw these beautiful flowers which reminded of your own loveliness. So I picked them for you. Don’t feel pressured. I am not trying to confess my feelings to you.”
Sandy, “...”
The corners of Gu ngng’s lips twitched. She thought to herself: Offering soone a gift for no apparent reason. Giving her flowers but not confessing his feelings? Was he trying to take a poke at her and then run off without bearing any responsibility? Stinking hooligan.
Sandy didn’t respond. Bode shot Hodgson a look and he imdiately stepped forward to block off Arnold. Hodgson smacked Arnold’s wrist, sending the flowers scattering all over the ground, before saying in a cold voice, “Don’t co near my Sandy again. You cannot defeat .”
