Miranda started crawling along the walls toward Lea as the two Beast Kings fought fiercely. Making use of the distraction provided by the battle between Elvis and Cole, Miranda managed to grab hold of Lea’s ankle.
Lea felt soone touching his ankle. He bent down to look and instantly tried to draw his foot back.
But Miranda held on tightly, refusing to let go even when she was being dragged over a distance.
Lifting her tear-streaked face, she pleaded piteously. “Ah Ya... I know you are already soone else’s partner but I don’t mind. Even if you imprison in so dungeon and never let see the light of day again, I am willing... I will be a very good tool for your advancent. If you mate with , you will quickly reach the fifth-level. Miranda’s wrist was shattered under Gu ngng’s foot and the hand clutching onto Lea’s ankle naturally loosened from the pain. Lea instantly drew back his foot before lifting Gu ngng up. “How could you step on her?”
“Your heart aches?” Gu ngng stared coldly at Lea.
Lea nodded, “How could my heart not ache? What if a bone fragnt pierces your foot? Bones are so hard, aren’t you afraid of stubbing your toes? And all that blood, so dirty... tsk. How many tis must we say this? Leave such dirty tasks to Elvis and I. You are just so disobedient.”
Lea placed Gu ngng back on the stone stool. He then drew out a coarse piece of animal skin, tossed it over Miranda, who was rolling on the ground in pain. He then lifted her up and threw her into a far corner. “If you co near my ngng and I again, I will throw you into the bonfire to beco BBQ.”
Miranda was in so much pain that she didn’t hear Lea’s words at all. She just continued to thrash about in her corner.
Lea couldn’t be bothered to say anything more to her and just took out a stone basin. He placed it over the fire rack to warm so water, before using it to wash Gu ngng’s feet.
It was a rather strange scene. Two Beast Kings not unleashing their beast pressure but putting up a showy fighting display that was all bark and no bite. anwhile, Lea was at the side waving his huge, furry tail and dotingly washing Gu ngng’s feet...
Gu ngng looked at the battle between Elvis and Cole. Elvis’ attacks were all lethal moves, but Cole behaved like a skittish cockroach. He did not face Elvis straight on but kept ducking and hiding. He was obviously trying to make Elvis use up all his stamina.
Ha, it was a despicable move, but... with Elvis’ high stamina levels, Cole would probably need to keep this up until next year before he would finally get the opportunity to counterattack.
