Chapter 1327: I Was Too Greedy.
Gu ngng nodded. “I... was I too much? Miranda looks... a bit pitiful.”
Lea kissed Gu ngng’s forehead. “Silly girl. If there was a male you didn’t like pestering you... Elvis and I would have been even more vicious than you. But you are naturally soft-hearted and kind. I am already content with the extent of your actions. Mmm, this is the second most blissful day of my life.”
Gu ngng couldn’t smile. She just asked Lea, “Second most blissful? What was your most blissful day then?”
“Of course it’s the day I beca your partner. The day when my mark appeared on your ear.” Lea smiled coyly and kissed her left ear. “ngng, leave Miranda’s matter to . I enjoy your jealousy but I cannot bear for you to be in such a dilemma. Doing sothing you are not good at and don’t like.”
“Actually...” Gu ngng lowered her head. She could not deny that Lea was speaking the truth. Gu ngng had never claid to be a pure and innocent girl, but her education had imparted her with a certain level of morals.
She knew that Miranda’s arrival at Sauder was part of so evil plan by Cole. He would definitely kill her the mont she was thrown out of Sauder.
She felt a sense of guilt from pushing soone toward their death just to protect her own relationship.
“ngng.” Lea kissed her hand. “Do you know? I am so scared of your current behavior. The way you speak suddenly changed... this makes feel like the entire world doesn’t want anymore. I shouldn’t force you to do things you don’t want to. I was too greedy. Please forgive , will you?”
Gu ngng pursed lips. “It’s not your fault. I insisted on handling this... I was the one who behaved viciously and then turned around to regret it. I don’t know why I am kicking up such a big fuss. I just can’t stand her... but I also don’t wish to cause her death.”
Lea patted Gu ngng gently on the back. He comforted her as he mulled over the matter. After a while, he said, “Perhaps there’s a place which will guarantee that she can never co back but also protect her from Cole.”
Gu ngng looked up and asked, “Where?”
Lea replied, “The Motou mountain range.”
Gu ngng’s eyes brightened. That’s right.
The Motou mountains were so geographically perilous that even Elvis and her, with their Beast King powers, were unable to ascend. Cole was just a crippled beast, so there was no way he could climb it. If they sent Miranda there, she would be unable to descend it on her own either. So Cole would not be able to reach her and kill her, while she would not be able to co back and pester Lea.
Gu ngng’s heart instantly felt lighter. She smiled. “This is perfect. I took away the Love of the Sky from them, but will give them a female snow fox with a pure bloodline in return. After all, the bird tribe cannot descend the mountains as and when they want. And from what Ian and Gregory said, the gender disparity in the Motou mountains is worse than any other tribe. Sending a female up there would be a great present. But... it has been so long since Gregory departed. How do we give her to him?”
Lea smiled. “We don’t have anyway, but the Beast Deity would. He must know how that great lord communicates with Gregory.”
Gu ngng shook her head with so awkwardness. “Seeking out my father to send my love rival into exile... isn’t that too embarrassing?”
