Chapter 1265: Young Master Asked Us To Deliver These Grapes
Lea said everyone had their own desires.
And this desire could beco the chain that wraps around his throat, with the other end of it clasped firmly in soone else’s hand, making him an obedient dog under control.
He had once sched against the ssenger of the Beast Deity. But he didn’t know then that the ssenger was Gu ngng. As a result, he paid a terrible price. Thereafter, he never dared to play god and belittle the life of others again, taking control of their destinies and mapping out their lives according to his own wishes.
Ha, he was really resuming his old profession now.
On the second day, Gregory was invited to the stone castle. He held an extrely guarded attitude the mont he entered. But Gu ngng and her family didn’t ntion anything about the Motou mountains. They just shared interesting life events and bits of news and gossip. There was not the slightest hint of probing or aggressiveness in their comnts.
Lea was exceptionally hospitable toward Gregory during the al, urging him to try all his best dishes. Gregory was not used to such friendly overtures but could not refuse. He had no choice but to accept.
Several days passed in this way and Gregory’s vigilance gradually relaxed. He even ford the habit of going out with Auretin every morning to collect so bird eggs and hunt for so wild birds, before bringing them back to the stone castle for their shared al.
As a result, Auretin beca extra friendly toward Gregory. This was because it was very difficult for land beasts to hunt for birds. Even if they managed to catch one, it was usually too young or too old. anwhile, Gregory brought back birds which were fat and juicy, and in the pri of their youth.
It was strange that although Ian had been in Sauder for many days, he had yet to appear in public. Now and then, Gu ngng asked Lea about this, but he would just change the subject.
Gu ngng then understood that Lea had his own arrangents and so didn’t probe further.
Half a month passed and more unexpected visitors appeared in Sauder.
Elvis felt unrest rippling through the wolf pack, and instinctively frowned. “I will head out for a look.”
Gu ngng also looked grim. She shook her head. “Let’s go together.”
The originally warm atmosphere instantly turned chilly as the faces of Elvis and Gu ngng turned dark at the sa ti. Lea’s smile didn’t fade but traces of malevolence crossed his face. He followed Elvis in silence.
Auretin had always been a pokerface and so his expression didn’t shift. Nevertheless, his body emitted a combative energy.
Gregory also instinctively went on the alert. His muscles tensed as he followed them. The fact that a battle between land beasts had nothing to with him never crossed his mind. Why should he be involved? He just very naturally followed Gu ngng and gang outside.
The wolf pack would always tail after Elvis the mont he stepped out of the stone castle. As a result, the movent of just one family turned into a grand affair.
Sensing Elvis’ aura, the wolf beasts within the tribe all followed suit. Not wanting to be left behind, the snow foxes also joined the fray behind Lea. Thereafter, the 16 tribes tagged along despite not knowing what was happening.
That’s right. Everyone in Sauder turned up at the borders of the territory, looking like a major army ready to take over the world.
About seven beasts stood at the borders of the territory. Their legs had gone soft from the huge crowd before them. They said in a trembling voice, “ssenger... Great ssenger... young master asked us to deliver these grapes...”
‘You are from Zacharias?” Gu ngng narrowed her eyes. “Just the few of you?”
