While they walk to the Central Area, people are already looking at them in silence and in awe. However, the bigger attention was on Astri because the word about what happened ran through everyone, including females.
All of them can see she’s very hurt, they feel divided on what they should feel about her. They always saw her as the most beautiful female, as the most desired, strong enough to protect her territory, but never as soone stronger than males. Even more having powers to defeat giant worms by herself, raise walls and create rivers like playing with magic.
"We know you have several questions, but first let explain everything and if you still have questions, we will answer them after." Lee says and they wait for him to continue. "When I say we, I include myself, Wayde, Tyr, Koa, Beau, Zin, Cyprian, Claud, Dieg (Insert the other na), and Kangki. We have powers. Claud and Kangki have powers because of their kinds, and the rest of us developed powers because we’re mated to the rarest and most powerful beast that exists."
All eyes go to Astri, waiting in Kangki’s arms. Claud explains about Nature, and his real identity.
"That’s crazy. We had the Higher Priest all this ti?" A male says.
"I ca here to be together with Astri." Claud answers.
"And who is Lady Astri? She looked more powerful than you and that other Beastman over there." Another male asks.
Before Claud answers, Astri stops him. Astri asks to be put down, Kangki puts her on her feet and she feels pain. Shung appears with a stool, and she sits down slowly.
"Sorry, my body is very sore. Everyone can sit if you want. We’re having a conversation, right?" She says.
The people closer to them sit down, but the ones behind stay on their feet to be capable of seeing her
"I’m known by many nas. Nas that most of them I don’t like or use. The one I agree with is Nature’s Daughter. I’m an ancient beast, the first beast created. I’m a Pegasus. From my kind ca the unicorns like Claud. I have Nature’s powers and I’m also a bridge of Nature’s energy. You all know that when a male and female mate, they share a bond. When this bond is connected to , my male will also share my powers, and that’s why all my spouses have Nature’s powers according to their own energies. It’s not all Nature’s energy, just the power that fits them better. Kangki and Claud are different. Claud is a unicorn and has his own connection with Nature. Kangki is an ancient beast like and also has his own connection."
"So this attack was because they were after you?" A female asks, crossing her arms.
"No. I would be an addition to their victory if they could defeat us, that’s all." She answers.
"How’s that? If you give your mates powers, anyone would want you. Now we know why you get the strongest males."
"I chose my mates because I love them, and I like to think they chose for the sa reason. I didn’t know who I was until I t Cyprian. I was raised not knowing I was even a beast, I was a slave before. I always wore winter clothes to hide that I never shifted before, and after shifting I wore them to hide my Pegasus mark. Though, you’re welco to speculate anything you want."
The female didn’t have anything to say after hearing that.
"Of course, we’re with you because we love you." Koa says, and the other spouses agree right after.
"So, that’s why you’re harder to convince to be mates with? Because you can give them powers?" A male asks.
"I give my mates not only powers but eternal life. Not only them but also the people around . Even our Guards are affected by . I know when soone approaches for the wrong reasons, I can read minds like Claud and Kangki, but Nature also tells anything I need to know about soone. So I’m not worried about choosing bad people to stay around . It’s harder for to accept anyone because I take my responsibility as a spouse very seriously. I must care and love all of them the sa way they do for because I don’t want them to fight or be unhappy. I want them to grow and be happy in our family. I’m different, in other words, so the male needs to understand that things will be different too and that it takes long for to accept soone." She explained, and all single males were very attentive to her words. "But why is that important right now? Do you have any other questions regarding my powers or anything else?" She asks, with a smile.
A male raises his hand slowly, and she points at him letting him speak.
"If you could have finished them faster, why didn’t you co earlier and before we were in a hard situation?" He asks.
"Because we told her to not put herself at risk." Wayde says, matter of fact, as there wasn’t a more obvious reason.
"She’s our female. It’s our duty to protect her and not put her in danger." Lee says.
"I might be powerful, and know how to protect myself, but I still have a fragile body as you can see." She shows her hand to them.
The male goes silent, it’s visible she’s very hurt.
"She’s not supposed to fight to protect our lands. She’s supposed to exist and with her energy of life keep the balance." Claud explains.
"But now Monsters will always aim at us knowing she’s here. Wanting or not she’s a risk to have in our tribes." The last female Astri fought says.
"The Monsters ca here to try to get this territory sohow. Even if I didn’t exist here, this territory has a privileged position desired by everyone who sees it. Monsters want dark energy, and they get that from people who have nurtured evil inside them for a long ti. They noticed we were growing not only in territory and wealth, but in your hearts things were changing too. They ca to put this seed of doubt against us so that evil can grow and they can get what they want. A territory where they can build a massive pit of dark forces." Astri explains.
The female crosses her arms, still not changing her opinion.
"Astri didn’t bring any danger here. We’re lucky to have her!" Shung says, angry and already annoyed.
"You knew about her Leader Shung?" A male wolf asks.
"Yes. I’ll always be grateful for having her here. And I believe all of you should be too because we wouldn’t be nothing without her." Shung says.
"If you believe she’s a threat, she will always be welco in my Kingdom. There we were honored and welcod her because she’s a Goddess. She saved the Queen from Monsters and didn’t let Aquaterra fall." Beau ntions.
"In my old tribe, she was seen as Goddess too." Koa says.
"I’m not saying she’s not powerful. I’m just saying she brings danger." The female rebukes.
"Calm down, guys. She’s welco to speculate whatever she wants." Astri says, before her spouses and Shung protect her. "It’s not wrong that any Monster would love to have , and affecting the ones around is a way to weaken . That was their plan from the beginning doing this attack. Their commander just didn’t imagine I would extend my powers to the extension of exposing like I did." Astri says.
"So you admit you bring danger?"
"Danger will always exist. Didn’t it exist before my arrival here?"
"Well, yes. But if you make things worse. I an you said you can read minds, what can assure that you won’t control to do things you want too?"
Astri chuckles and then raises her hand slowly to stop her spouses from saying sothing nasty.
"If I could do that I could have done this to make you stop talking now. If I could, could have convinced the Monsters to not co here. If I could all of you wouldn’t be even here. Nature can’t control your thoughts, decisions and doings, I’m the sa way." Astri says.
The female lost her voice, not knowing what to say back too.
Then to so’s surprise, Ana walks forward a little calling everyone’s attention
"Once there was a Monster pretending to be a lion beastman in the probation area. He was there looking for a way into our tribes, and blinded by his strength I’ve let him in. I didn’t know he was a Monster, I just wanted to show everyone that not only Astri has powerful mates. When he saw her he showed who he truly was and said that he had the right to have because I chose him myself. She could have let him take , but she didn’t. She made him leave without taking , and protected my family of being caught by him or other Monsters. Monsters fear her and they never ca inside these walls." Ana tells.
"Why you say that she could have let you be taken by him?" A male asks.
"Monsters are attracted by evil and dark energies. That’s what Ana had before and she attracted the evil to herself. The mont she accepted him, he had put a claim on her life. Astri didn’t allow him to take her away from her territory, even if Ana brought that to herself." Claud answers.
"And why did you help her? She was always an to you before." A female asks.
"No one is obligated to like . I don’t care if any of you like or not. I helped her because I didn’t want Shung and Fraz to suffer. I did the right thing to do." Astri answers.
"You must have given her so power so she started to like you. I know her males has important positions in the tribes."
Kangki even rolls his eyes, so tired of this back-and-forth discussion. He looks at Astri’s bruises and his aura starts to get angry, making everyone look at him aware of the upcoming danger.
