??Chapter 546: Chapter 498: The Journey Through The Interstellar

Chapter 546: Chapter 498: The Journey Through The Interstellar

A loud bag, huh… Qiao Sang silently covered her face.

Fighting was prohibited aboard the starship, so naturally, the scuffle never happened.

The four found a spot and sat down in the dining area.

“What will you all have?” Officer Chen asked.

“Whatever.”

“Anything is fine.”

“Coke,” said Qiao Sang.

Officer Chen tapped in an indicated area on the table, and instantly, a ten-centiter virtual screen appeared.

“Four Cokes,” Officer Chen said.

An image of a Coke along with the text and quantity briefly appeared on the virtual screen, then vanished.

Within just a few seconds, four Cokes materialized out of thin air on the table.

Qiao Sang was stunned for a second, thinking to himself, geez, does the kitchen in this starship have a Pet Beast that’s an expert in Spatial Movent working backstage?

“You’ve always been saying you wanted to et Qiao Sang, so why are you not talking now that she’s right in front of you?” Officer Chen asked the girl sitting opposite in a leather beret.

Wanted to et ? Qiao Sang grabbed a Coke and took a sip while looking over.

The girl showed an embarrassed expression and, before she had a chance to speak, Officer Chen began introducing her to Qiao Sang:

“This is Yang Jiayi from Chong Island, and she is the champion of the National Campus Beast Taming Coordination Competition, high school division. She arrived in the Yuhua region yesterday and has been eager to et you.”

Then, looking at Tang Yi and the other person, he said, “I won’t say much about Qiao Sang; you two already know him.”

“Hello, my na is Yang Jiayi,” the girl spoke in a gentle voice, smiling sweetly, quite the lady.

So she is the national personal coordination competition champion, no wonder she dresses so fashionably, even putting clothes on her Pet Beast… Qiao Sang nodded in response, “Hello.”

Tang Yi scratched his head, “We just competed recently; you probably haven’t forgotten about

yet.”

“Of course not, runner-up,” Qiao Sang said with a smile.

Tang Yi: “…”

Yang Jiayi almost laughed aloud; she hadn’t expected the internet-fad “high school terminator” Qiao Sang to have such a personality.

She had thought he would be a difficult person to get along with…

Officer Chen watched as the three interacted amicably and secretly let out a sigh of relief.

All three of them were top-tier geniuses, especially Qiao Sang.

Officer Chen had heard from predecessors who had escorted intergalactic exchange students to other planets that so of these geniuses could be particularly troubleso. It wasn’t too bad dealing with those who were solitary and uncommunicative, but what they dreaded most was encountering individuals who respected no one, requiring the intervention of escorting officers on a daily basis.

Before coming, his biggest worry had been Qiao Sang’s ability to mingle, as the extent of his genius surpassed all previous intergalactic exchange students and was highly regarded by the nation.

As long as Qiao Sang could get along peacefully with the other two, then this journey should go smoothly.

Two hours later, the starship took off.

“Attention, all passengers, YH-33 starship is about to depart. Please remain in your cabins and refrain from walking around. In 7 minutes, we will reach space, after which passengers are free to move around in the designated leisure areas. We wish you all a pleasant interstellar journey!”

As the announcent rang out, the colossal spacecraft shot towards the outer reaches of Blue Star like a streak of light.

Once in space, the faster-than-light engine was activated, and the starship began to exceed the speed of light.

There was so vibration during the initial 7 minutes of the flight, but upon reaching space, it beca exceptionally smooth.

Qiao Sang stayed in his cabin, hands pressed against the transparent inner wall of the ship, gazing outside with eyes that shone with excitent.

Space, here I co! Qiao Sang roared inwardly.

Interstellar tourism, to see the glittering stars up close, was the dream of so many people!

Who wouldn’t want to roam through space?

It was just a pity that in her previous life, she had died too early and hadn’t lived to see the day when the nation’s technology had advanced to the point where even non-astronauts could travel through space.

Of course, even if she had, it’s likely she wouldn’t have been able to afford it…

But it’s okay.

Now!

At this very mont!

She was up there!

And it didn’t cost a di!

Qiao Sang looked outside with anticipation and excitent.

After clinging to the inner wall of the cabin for ten minutes, she finally cald down.

Dreams are so plump, reality is so skinny.

Forget about stars and seas; it was pitch black in all directions, not even a fart could be seen!

Her dream of gazing up close at the sparkling starry sky shattered into pieces!

And so… Qiao Sang went over to the table to start solving problems, trying hard to forget what she just felt.

The scene outside was like a chasm, endless, only conveying silence, darkness, and terror.

Maybe it was the terrifying nature of space that made Qiao Sang feel as if her brain swelled up a bit.

“Xun…”

Xiao Xunbao, who had previously been clinging to the cabin wall in the sa position as Qiao Sang, showed a look of disappointnt.

It looked so beautiful when looking up from below…

“Yaobao!”

At this mont, Yaobao called out.

Qiao Sang turned to look.

However long she and Xiao Xunbao had been staring outside the cabin, that’s how long Yaobao had been training his telekinesis with gravity steel balls.

“Hungry?” Qiao Sang asked.

“Yaobao.”

Yaobao nodded.

Without waiting for Qiao Sang to ask Xiao Xunbao to take out the energy pills prepared by the vice-principal, Yang Jiayi, who was folding her legs, performing yoga positions on the bed, spoke up:

“I have so Lilingzi, want so?”

Though the country was generous, it wasn’t so generous as to give every intergalactic exchange student their own private cabin. Qiao Sang and Yang Jiayi shared a room for two.

Lilingzi? What’s that?

Having learned her lesson from the Wan Yanguo incident, Qiao Sang cautiously asked, “Is this for human or pet beast consumption?”

Yang Jiayi was montarily stunned and then laughed, “It’s for pet beasts. It fills them up and also increases the glossiness of their fur.”

After explaining, she quickly made excuses for Qiao Sang:

“Those of us who have to take part in the coordination competitions pay special attention to our pet beasts’ charm, which is why we frequently feed them this. Your focus is on combat, so it’s normal that you haven’t heard of it.”

So it’s for pet beasts’ consumption, good thing she asked… Qiao Sang thought.

She didn’t feel embarrassed about asking at all. If you don’t understand sothing, you should ask. That’s how you acquire the correct knowledge quickly.

“One will do,” Qiao Sang said.

Lilingzi was good for glossing up the fur; she just wanted to try it. The specially made energy pills were the main food.

“Okay,” Yang Jiayi said as she got up to rummage through her bag. She took out a pale yellow, spindle-shaped fruit with irregular tiny teeth on the edges and handed it to Yaobao with a gentle smile, “Try this.”

Yaobao sniffed it with his nose, then took a bite.

“Yaobao!”

Yaobao barked joyfully, indicating that it tasted quite good.

This look, this fur, this splendor— not joining the coordination competition would be a waste… Yang Jiayi thought as she watched the Liaoxing Dog, her fingers twitching, barely resisting the urge to touch it.

Unnoticed by anyone, at this mont on the bed, the green feline pet beast, which had removed its hat to reveal a leaf on its head, opened its previously closed eyes. It looked on disapprovingly as its Beast Tar showed kindness to another pet beast.
