Yaobao and the others all wore expressions of astonished wonder.

As they exited, the three chanical Pet Beasts paused their actions and simultaneously turned to look.
Qiao Sang noticed their eyes change from black to green, then back to black, before they turned away and resud trimming the plants.
Viking explained,
"These ones are security beasts tasked with verifying personnel identities. If they detect soone who isn’t registered in their data, they will initiate an attack."
Qiao Sang remained silent for a mont and said, "I thought they were gardeners."
Viking chuckled upon hearing this and added,
"When there’s nothing else to do, they do indeed take on the role of gardeners."
Qiao Sang thought to herself, the versatility of chanical Pet Beasts truly is vast...
The two of them chatted idly as they walked.
Soon, they arrived at a pavilion supported by several round pillars.
Inside, two won were seated.
One had sleek black hair, erald-green eyes, and an unadorned face that seed to be around thirty years old.
The other woman’s hair was partially white, her skin pale, with noticeable wrinkles.
Qiao Sang imdiately recognized the older woman as Headmistress Theresa Dwight—the sa person who had spoken in the video accompanying her admission letter.
