Chapter 1002: Chapter 804: Grass Candle Monster (Combined Chapters)_3

The middle-aged man unconsciously glanced to the side.

He saw a black-haired girl standing next to him, and the spectral-type pet beast that had been following her had its eyes glowing blue, seemingly using telekinesis.

Damn it, what is this inexplicable sense of security…

“Lubao!” From high in the air, Qiao Sang looked at the chaotic scene ahead and shouted.

“Bing’ai!”

Lubao was also held in midair by Xun Xun’s psychic control, and it picked up a loudspeaker.

anwhile, Yaobao’s body gradually began to grow larger.

With its shining crimson fur and the mysterious figure of its massive fla wings, it instantly captured the attention of all the staff present and the majority of the wild pet beasts.

“What kind of pet beast is that?” one of the staffers in the heat of battle looked up, frowning in awe after a mont of amazent.

“Fla Kiru?!” Another staff mber recognized the airborne pet beast and exclaid.

“Blue Star’s Fla Kiru?” The questioning staffer suddenly realized, “Wait, isn’t that Qiao Sang’s pet beast?”

He imdiately thought of sothing, his tone turning anxious, “Don’t tell

Qiao Sang is here? And she wants Fla Kiru to help? No way, I heard Fla Kiru’s ultimate skills are all fire-based—what if it accidentally damages the aircraft?”

Among the security personnel, there were naturally beast tars skilled in large-scale attacks, but with over a dozen planes parked on the tarmac, their hands were seriously tied.

Just then, a song floated down from the sky:

“Ice ice ice~ Ice ice~ Ice ice~ Ice~”

Invisible sound waves rippled outward.

The previously anxious expressions on the faces of the staff and most of the wild pet beasts gradually softened into calmness.

“Lightning Chain!” The middle-aged man, seemingly unaffected by the song, instantly commanded.

“Shan Shan!”

The Lightning Fury Horse, caught midair by telekinesis, strained its body and broke free of the psychic grip, crashing heavily to the ground.

The mont it landed, electricity crackled at its hooves. Its body swelled in size, and terrifying yellow lightning arcs surged across its entire fra.

Lightning danced like frenzied serpents, creating an aura so deadly it felt like rely approaching it would result in electrocution.

The electric arcs converged and intertwined, forming a thick lightning chain.

The Lightning Fury Horse’s body reached ten ters in height before its growth finally stopped.

As a king-tier electric-type pet beast, the Lightning Fury Horse could discharge electricity in all directions from its mane. It had explosive speed like a bolt of lightning and would emit thunderous sounds when sprinting at full power… Qiao Sang glanced at the horse-like pet beast below, which was casting its Lightning Chain skill, her mind recalling its entry in the Beast Taming Codex.

Part of the reason she’d agreed so readily earlier was because the Lightning Fury Horse was a king-tier pet beast, which guaranteed her safety.

The thick lightning chain quickly bound the now-calm wild pet beasts.

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”

Bright yellow flashes exploded one by one across the bodies of the captured wild pet beasts.

Their painful cries echoed continuously.

Suddenly, a spectral-type pet beast, ten ters long, appeared out of thin air. It had green, hair-like long leaves on its head, a slender body, and a gaping hole in the center of its lower torso that emitted a bright light, almost as if there was a lamp inside.

It raised its claw—not toward the Lightning Fury Horse but rather toward the airborne Lubao, who was singing into the loudspeaker.

A five-ter-long pitch-black shadow claw materialized out of thin air, mirroring the movent of the spectral-type pet beast with green leaves. It lunged downward viciously, aiming directly for Lubao.

A flash of dazzling fire zipped past. Yaobao scooped up its beast tar and Lubao onto its back, narrowly evading the shadow claw’s attack.

With the continuous sounds of explosions and the appearance of the gigantic spectral-type pet beast, the staff below snapped back to their senses. Their previously calm faces were now filled with alarm and shock as they stared at the massive spectral-type pet beast that had appeared, exclaiming:

“Grass Candle Monster! A king-tier pet beast managed to sneak in!”

“Oh my god! It was hidden in invisibility the whole ti?! That’s terrifying!”

“No wonder these wild pet beasts weren’t afraid of a king-tier beast earlier—it had their leader backing them up!”

The Grass Candle Monster, a dual-attribute spectral and grass-type king-tier pet beast, liked to wander at night while singing. If you listened to its song, you would be cursed… Qiao Sang turned her gaze to the newly appeared pet beast, her heart sinking as she shouted, “Retreat!”

Monts ago, it had definitely targeted Lubao. Now that Healing Sound Wave had been cast and most of the wild pet beasts had been dealt with, the remaining ones should be manageable for the airport staff…

“Xun Xun!”

Little Xunbao’s eyes glowed blue.

“Keh keh keh…”

But at that mont, the Grass Candle Monster grinned, revealing a sinister smile. Its massive claw lifted again, as if gripping sothing.

“Wait!” Qiao Sang’s pupils contracted sharply, and she cried out in alarm.

“Xun Xun…”

Little Xunbao, confused, instinctually dispersed the blue glow in its eyes.

Sh*t! Why is Gangbao in its claw?! Qiao Sang caught sight of what the Grass Candle Monster was holding, her heart sinking heavily. She couldn’t help but let out a ntal curse.

A king-tier spectral-type pet beast—what now? Gangbao had actually fallen into the hands of a king-tier pet beast. Spectral-type pet beasts often had skills that could permanently sever a pet beast’s connection to the Beast Taming Codex… Panic surged in Qiao Sang’s chest as she waved her hand.

Then, Gangbao was summoned back.

Huh?

Huh?!

Gangbao was just… summoned back that easily?!

Qiao Sang looked utterly baffled as she gazed at the Grass Candle Monster.

The Grass Candle Monster stared back at her.

“…”

“Grass Candle!”

The furious Grass Candle Monster stopped “keh-keh-keh-ing” and let out a deep bellow of rage.
