This is utterly disillusioning!
The Black Tiger Ming Yan bared his sharp teeth, confronting Bai Feng’s aura in the sky.
The tense atmosphere persisted for quite a while.
Everyone’s attention was focused entirely on Ming Yan and Bai Feng.
No one even noticed when Bai Hong woke up and went to one side, suffering from a torrential bout of diarrhea.
It wasn’t until a foul stench assaulted their nostrils that the keen-nosed Beastn turned their gazes toward Bai Hong.
Bai Hong, squatting to the side and expelling a massive amount of insects with a look of utter despair, blushed to the roots of her hair when she realized everyone was watching her. Her despair deepened.
"Bai Hong!!!" Bai Shou exclaid joyfully.
"Dad," Bai Hong, both embarrassed and fearful, yelled. "Stop looking at !"
The males then turned their heads away.
The Beastn of White Eagle City had originally gathered here for Bai Hong. Now, with Bai Hong’s appearance, much of the hostility from the males of White Eagle City dissolved, and they turned their attention to Bai Feng.
However, Bai Feng’s gaze toward Ming Yan remained unchanged—cold and tinged with a hint of hostility.
"Bai Feng, Bai Hong is awake. I need to go down," Si Yan said.
Si Yan’s words successfully brought Bai Feng back to himself. He lifted his head slightly, and as he looked at her, a warm smile reappeared on his face.
"Alright," he said gently.
Bai Feng flapped his wings, descending to the ground with Si Yan. After setting her down, he transford back into his human form.
His white eyes conveyed arrogance; he looked down on all creatures except Si Yan with disdain, as if he saw through everything, remaining high above all.
"Lord Bai Feng," Bai Shou greeted enthusiastically as he flew over.
Yet Bai Feng did not spare him even a glance.
Si Yan observed the situation before her.
This Bai Shou’s status seems quite high. Judging by Bai Hong calling him ’Dad,’ I’d say Bai Shou is the City Lord of White Eagle City. Bai Feng seems dismissive of everyone, but his gaze toward Ming Yan is clearly different. This gives a whole new perspective. This male, the one the original story’s female protagonist desired but couldn’t obtain, is incredibly proud, looking down on everyone as if they are beneath him.
Si Yan approached Bai Hong. Bai Hong, who hadn’t finished yet, saw the Beastn, who had only just turned away, look back at her again. Her despair deepened.
Si Yan said, "You’re expelling a lot right now. When you get back, eat more and get so rest."
Bai Hong looked up at Si Yan with gratitude. "It was you who saved ! I know it all. You saved ! I will repay you!"
Seeing Bai Hong about to grab her, Si Yan quickly stepped back.
Bai Feng shot Bai Hong a glare with his haughty eyes.
Bai Hong saw the shock on Bai Feng’s face, then felt bewildered. Finally, she turned to Si Yan, extrely agitated, "Tell quick, am I being cured or am I dying?!"
Unable to withstand Bai Hong’s agitation, Si Yan took half a step back and said, "One packet of dicine will clear so of the insects from your stomach. Your condition is a bit more severe; to be completely cured, you’ll need to take four more packets. Don’t worry, you won’t die."
Hearing this, Bai Hong beca even more excited. "You can cure ! You can actually cure ! Myriad Beasts City couldn’t cure ! How are you so amazing?!"
Si Yan found the excited Bai Hong a bit much to handle. She really didn’t want to deal with this.
Bai Feng smiled as he looked toward Bai Hong. Bai Hong suddenly shivered; a natural sense of oppression from him caused her to break out in a cold sweat.
She found so leaves and began to awkwardly wipe herself off to the side.
While wiping, she kept glancing excitedly in Si Yan’s direction.
The Tiger Beasts of Black Tiger City were furious. Hu Qiao roared at the White Eagle Beastn of White Eagle City, "Didn’t you falsely accuse us of kidnapping your Young Miss? Now that the Young Miss has woken up, see for yourselves! Did we kidnap your Young Miss, or did our Teacher Si Yan save her?!"
The unjustly accused Tiger Beasts of Black Tiger City instantly regained their confidence, all red-faced and necks bulging with indignation.
Bai Shou snapped back to his senses.
This Teacher Si Yan from Black Tiger City... cured Bai Hong? Cured her insect sickness? And my own daughter Bai Hong’s insect sickness still needs four more packs of dicine to be fully cured. I can’t afford to offend Black Tiger City right now.
Thinking this, Bai Shou imdiately plastered a wide smile on his face and apologized to the Beastn of Black Tiger City. "My apologies, we misunderstood. Please, my Tiger brothers, don’t be offended."
When the City Lord of White Eagle City bowed his head in apology, the indignation of the Black Tiger City Beastn gradually subsided.
The Black Tiger, Ming Yan, slowly stood up. Then, he gradually transford into his human form and put on a beast-skin skirt.
Si Yan turned to look at Ming Yan. His dark, deep eyes were fixed on her and Bai Feng as he strode toward them.
As Ming Yan approached, Si Yan distinctly felt the air around Bai Feng grow heavy and oppressive.
When Ming Yan’s and Bai Feng’s gazes locked, Si Yan felt the atmosphere tense up once more.
"Stop it," Si Yan said quickly.
At Si Yan’s words, both towering males simultaneously shifted their gazes slightly away from each other.
The oppressive feeling of their masculine confrontation abruptly vanished.
Bai Hong stared at Si Yan, Bai Feng, and Ming Yan, her mouth falling open slightly in shock.
She knew both of these individuals.
Bai Feng, the most respected figure in White Eagle City. She had grown up hearing stories about him; he was a ssenger of the Beast God, a legendary figure. For the Beastn of White Eagle City, Bai Feng was practically an object of faith.
And she had also heard of Ming Yan. He was the only Black Tiger born in White Tiger City, hailed there as a son of the Tiger God. But after certain events, he left White Tiger City. Though young, he had gathered a group of White Tiger Beastn willing to follow him and established his own city.
A very formidable and promising young Beastman.
Ming Yan was one thing; Father had once told to find a way to make Ming Yan my male. He seed like soone attainable. But Bai Feng was different; he was like a celestial being, untouchable. Yet now, both of these powerful males seem to listen to this young male before them?
Bai Hong composed herself and looked at Si Yan closely.
A young male?
She stared at Si Yan’s Adam’s apple and chest.
Sothing isn’t right. This... is a female, isn’t she?
The oblivious Bai Shou quickly broke the strange atmosphere.
He flew up to Si Yan, his face wreathed in smiles, and asked, "Excuse ... Teacher Si Yan, do you have any more of that insect dicine?"
