The male was powerfully built, standing there like a mountain.
"Don’t bother Si Yan and her family. Scram," the male said coldly.
Xiong Da slamd heavily onto the ground, dazed by the fall.
The onlooking Beastn, sensing drama, began to chatter and discuss.
"Tai Seng?! It’s actually Tai Seng!"
"Why is Tai Seng here?"
"Haven’t you heard? Tai Seng courted Si Yan a while back. Can’t you see? His presence here ans he’s definitely pursuing Si Yan."
"Tai Seng courted Si Yan? Why would the strongest male in the tribe court a female nobody wants?! Is he blind?"
The Yanxiang Tribe consisted mainly of Bear Beastn and Wolf Beastn. Only a few Beastn from other races had joined from outside.
Tai Seng had always been the most powerful young Beastman in the Yanxiang Tribe. Most of the tribe’s females had extended invitations to him, but he had refused them all.
No one understood why Tai Seng would take an interest in Si Yan, an unhealthy and ugly female, and her family.
Intimidated by Tai Seng’s aura, Xiong Da had planned to say, "Adult Beastn shouldn’t bully cubs!" but in the end, he didn’t dare utter the words.

Panicked, Xiong Rou rushed forward, grabbed her cub, and shouted, "Si Yan, you’re being unreasonable! You and Tai Seng, two adult Beastn, ganging up to bully my cub! Are there no rules left in the Yanxiang Tribe? This is outrageous! Outrageous! We can’t live in the Yanxiang Tribe anymore!"
Si Yan chuckled softly and said coldly, "Xiong Rou, make your cub apologize to mine."
Xiong Rou imdiately put her hands on her hips. "Apologize?! When do cubs ever apologize for fighting? Have you ever heard of cubs needing to apologize for a scuffle?!"
Si Yan asked coolly, "Are you sure you won’t have him apologize?"
Xiong Rou said disdainfully, "There’s nothing to apologize for."
Si Yan laughed coldly. "Good, rember what you said today."
Xiong Rou, feeling she had won the verbal exchange, retorted, "You just worry about your own injured, crippled, and ugly cubs!"
After speaking, Xiong Rou turned to Tai Seng, her expression instantly softening. "Tai Seng, don’t be blind. Si Yan is an unhealthy female; she can’t bear cubs. Be my male, and I promise to give you a litter of healthy, plump cubs."
Si Yan, still fuming, was stunned by Xiong Rou’s audacity. She already has over ten males, and she wants more?
Sure enough, one of Xiong Rou’s males said unhappily, "Mistress, you already promised you’d bear my cubs next."
Xiong Rou waved her hand dismissively. "Be sensible; of course, Tai Seng is more important."
The only Red Crystal Beastman in the Yanxiang Tribe! Such a mighty and strong Beastman—who wouldn’t desire him?
Besides, if Tai Seng joined her family, she could do as she pleased in the Yanxiang Tribe, and Si Yan would be beneath her notice.

Fuming and unable to break free from her males, Xiong Rou finally left angrily with her family, full of resentnt.
The crowd of Beastn, seeing there was no more drama to watch, gradually dispersed. When Tai Seng turned to Si Yan, an endearingly sheepish look uncontrollably appeared on his face. "Si Yan, go check on Xi Qing."
"Alright." Si Yan expressed her gratitude. "Thank you for helping out of that situation."
"It’s nothing." Tai Seng stared at her for a long mont, unsure what to say, and finally mumbled, "I’ll be going then."
Si Yan thanked him again. "Thank you."
Tai Seng suddenly turned and left very quickly.
Once he was so distance away, Tai Seng hid behind a large tree, watching Si Yan. The large male’s face was slightly flushed. His tail had unknowingly appeared and was wagging back and forth behind him.
Previously, Tai Seng had utterly detested the family structure of the Beast World, where a group of males lived with one female; he found it disgusting.
He originally hadn’t planned on finding a mate.
But ever since the day he saw Si Yan walking towards the plaza, Tai Seng found he couldn’t stop his tail from wanting to erge and wag.
Even with her pockmarked face, he found her incredibly attractive.
He called her a "beautiful female" because he genuinely thought she was pretty.
On an impulse, he had initiated courtship for the first ti in his life. It had been too rash, and, in short, it failed.

Tai Seng’s grandfather found him. "I heard from your Third Uncle that you’ve taken a fancy to a female. Have you really fallen for that Si Yan?!"
