"They’ve really retreated?"

"Impossible, there must be so kind of conspiracy."

"Yeah, cold-blooded snake beastn, how could they possibly retreat?"

"But they are retreating..."

"We have water to drink!!"

"Forget it, drink water, quick, drink water!!!"

The group of snake beastn, awoken from their sumr hibernation and still half-asleep, dazedly followed behind Si Yan.

"Madam, where are we headed now?" She Ying asked, his face pale.

Si Yan said, "During this ti, I had Tai Seng scout the nearby terrain. There’s a Swamp Valley nearby that is cool and damp, suitable for snake beastn to survive the Scorching Fla Days. Let’s head there first."

She Ying went to find Tai Seng and had a thorough discussion with him. The place wasn’t too far away, and She Ying imdiately led the snake beastn to begin the migration.

Jie Ling looked in the direction the snake beastn had left, completely baffled. What, what’s going on?? They didn’t fight? Si Yan left??? No, why is she so timid? Fight! Fight and capture all these weak snake beastn in one go! She had been plotting for so long. Why? Why hadn’t conflict erupted between the two factions?? What should she do now? Has her mission failed? No, it can’t be!

Hu Hui was also completely befuddled. They had led people from tribes outside into Dark Sun Lake, originally planning to kick them while they were down once the two sides started fighting. As long as a fight broke out, they would surely turn their coats and aim their blades at the snake beastn! But why did the snake beastn leave on their own? What are we going to do now? Technically, we’re still people from the Delusional Domain. So, are we going to leave or stay?? This feeling of being wound up to the breaking point with no release, this sense of being stuck in limbo, was truly unbearable.

Si Yan led the snake beastn of the Delusional Domain to retreat to a place half a day’s journey from Dark Sun Lake. This half-day journey, under the scorching heat of the Scorching Fla Days, was tough on this group of snake beastn. Fortunately, they arrived safely without any beastman falling behind.

Si Yan felt her Luck-Transfer Bead grow slightly hot again. Although she couldn’t see the fortunes, she knew she had likely won this confrontation and absorbed a significant amount of the world’s protagonist’s luck once more.

She Ying needed to hibernate for the sumr. Therefore, during this ti, the young female Kong Mian was being cared for by Hu Hui. During the migration, Hu Hui even brought along the milk-producing wild beast to continue feeding Kong Mian.

Si Yan went to check on Kong Mian and transferred the fortune she had absorbed to her.

After arriving at the new place, the snake beastn began to settle down. The new place was located beside a marsh. The environnt was moist, but there were no lakes, and the marshland itself had dried up considerably. The snake beastn lazily turned into snakes, then searched for places to hang themselves up.

She Ying slithered over to Si Yan, looking paler than ever, perhaps because he felt tired. "Madam, this place is quite good for us, but there just seems to be no water left. In a few days, the marsh on the ground will probably dry up and crack."

Si Yan nodded. "Not just you, but also the rfolk who followed us over need water. Make do for now; I’ll think of sothing."

The little rmaids had been out of water for too long and were now lying motionless on the muddy ground. If they didn’t get water soon, they wouldn’t last much longer before dehydrating to death.

She Ying nodded, then went to find a nice-looking branch to hang himself from.

Wang hung from Si Yan, observing her expression as if waiting for sothing. However, before he could guess what she was waiting for, an extrely repugnant scent assaulted his senses.

Suddenly, nurous white specks appeared in the sky.

Si Yan looked toward those white specks and smiled. "They’re here!"

The white specks gradually grew larger. Slowly, everyone could see that what filled the sky were giant eagle-falcon beastn. One after another, each giant eagle-falcon had sothing clutched in its talons. Looking closely, they were beastn!

"Mother!!!" A young boy’s voice, having just gone through puberty.

Si Yan was montarily stunned when she heard this voice. Who could be coming to look for their relatives?

She looked intently and saw at the forefront a majestic, handso, long-haired white eagle-falcon, its pride evident in its elevated stance. A shining Purple Crystal glimred on its forehead, and its snow-white long feathers fluttered, immaculately unblemished. Despite its clear eagle-falcon form, it retained a nobility, its beauty almost divine, as if from the heavens. In its strong, slender silver talons, it clutched a blue rmaid who looked to be newly adult, about eighteen years old, and had an extraordinarily refreshing appearance. The rmaid had long, curly blue hair, and both his eyes and tail were pure blue. He was an exceptionally handso male rmaid; one glance was enough to reveal his stunning purity.

And that cry of "Mother" had co from this very rmaid.

So, a rmaid was searching for his kin. I wonder which of the rmaids from the Delusional Domain is his mother?

Following the dashing long-haired eagle-falcon were many other white eagle-falcons, each also clutching one or two beastn in their talons. As they drew nearer, Si Yan looked closely and recognized all too familiar faces!

Yin Xiu, Yin Hong, Yin Qiu, and more—all from the Silver Wolf tribe!

"Si Yan!"

"Si Yan!!"

Yin Hong’s face was flushed with excitent. "Si Yan!!!" His heart pounded. He recognized her. Even though she had washed her face clean, he knew her instantly! Si Yan is so beautiful with her face washed clean!

Si Yan, watching this crowd of Silver Wolves, felt a mix of confusion and bewildernt. Why have they co as well?

Then she saw the leading eagle-falcon, Bai Feng, who was as strikingly handso as a god, fly even closer. He set the blue rmaid on the ground. The rmaid’s fishtail transford into human legs, and he ran toward Si Yan.

Si Yan promptly stepped back, but the beautiful, pristine-looking blue rmaid boy enthusiastically flung himself at her.

"Mother!"

"Mother, mother, mother!"

"Lan Hai missed you so much!"

Dongchi and Nan Mo struggled out of their deep slumber. They looked towards the adult rmaid diving into their mother’s embrace. When did we get an older brother???

Si Yan was even more bewildered. What?? What in the world??? What did he call ???!!! He called "Mother"? He was searching for **?????

The male rmaid joyfully nuzzled Si Yan. "Mother, mother, mother~ You haven’t visited Lan Hai in so long. Lan Hai really, really missed you!"

Si Yan was speechless.

Lan Hai... she rembered now. The little rmaid she and Mu Xiao, the eagle-falcon, had saved on the island.

Just as Si Yan recalled this, she saw another familiar figure not too far away—Mu Xiao. After putting down Yin Hong, Mu Xiao transford into a human form and gave Si Yan a typically flamboyant greeting.

Si Yan was speechless again. Sothing is amiss.

Pushing Lan Hai away, Si Yan protested, "No, weren’t you just a baby rmaid? How did you get so big? You can’t be my Lan Hai!"

She had found a fish and, through a series of coincidences, had learned that so tribes had a tradition where naming soone also ant acknowledging them as a godmother. She could understand Lan Hai calling her godmother. But her Lan Hai couldn’t possibly be this big!

When the little rmaid Jin Li saw Lan Hai, a smile spread across his face. He excitedly asked, "Are you a saltwater rman?"

Little Lan Hai’s eyes were clear as he nodded. "I am."

The little rmaid Jin Li imdiately beca ecstatic. "Can you summon seawater?"

Lan Hai continued to nod. "I can."

Little rmaid Jin Li burst into cheers. "That’s great!"
