378 Frustration
It was only when the pack of wolves were about to jump on him that Shen Fei raised his head warily. The ferocious and bloodthirsty gazes he was t with gave the impression that the wild beasts deliberately chose to devour only people.
“Aahhh!” Lilian scread in panic.
Fortunately, Li Yuan had put up a defensive barrier in ti to resist the first wolf that pounced at them. Otherwise, Lilian would have died long ago.
“Damn it!” Li Yuan’s face was pale, and the veins on his forehead were bulging. He gritted his teeth and supported the defensive barrier.
“Hmph, they’re just exotic beasts. Watch destroy them.” Xia’er was confident and fearless.
“Xia’er, don’t be a hero!” Li Yuan angrily rebuked.
“Tsk, they’re all trash!” Xia’er sneered.
“Boom!” In the next mont, Xia’er’s figure flashed and he rushed out from behind the barrier.
Xia’er summoned the Great Tortoise. “Great Tortoise, use Earth Spirit Bind.”
A series of rumbling sounds ca from underground, as if so kind of behemoth was crawling quickly beneath them.
“Hmm?” Shen Fei stopped in his tracks and stared ahead solemnly.
In the next mont, the ground suddenly collapsed and dozens of giant pythons rushed out. In the blink of an eye, they had entangled Shen Fei and the others.
The giant pythons’ scales were sharp and hard. They strangled Shen Fei and the others, intending to squeeze them into pulp!
“Gah!” Xia’er and the others scread. The intense pain made their bodies twitch.
“Damn it! They actually dared to trick !” Xia’er cursed through gritted teeth.
“Xia’er, remove the Earth Spirit Bind.” Aloy shouted.
“Hmph! Fine!” Xia’er huffed and quickly released the skill.
Shen Fei and the others finally heaved a sigh of relief when they were no longer being crushed to death, but they were still tied up by the giant pythons and could not move.
At the sa ti, Xia’er activated his true essence and attacked the python. Unfortunately, the attack was unable to shake off the python.
But after a bit of waiting, without rhy or reason, the reptiles released them. The students ran to a corner, away from the rampaging exotic beasts, and began to discuss their strategy.
“The situation is dire now. There are too many exotic beasts here. We need to wait for them to disperse,” Shen Fei said calmly.
However, Xia’er was unwilling to follow.
Xia’er snorted and said, “Hmph, I’m not listening to you. Why should I let soone else command ?”
“Xia’er, stop screwing around. Hurry up and help us co up with a solution,” Aloy yelled.
“I can’t be bothered!” Xia’er said disdainfully.
Although Xia’er was usually arrogant and rude, he was also opportunistic. He knew that this was a rare chance for him to hone himself. If he succeeded in clearing this round, he would definitely receive a reward from his father. That would be a great honor for him, so he would not give up.
Shen Fei’s tone gradually turned cold. “Xia’er, what you’re doing is not only a waste of ti, but it’ll also get us all killed.”
“Who are you to lecture ?” Xia’er asked. He could not help but feel stifled.
Shen Fei always put on a high and mighty posture, which annoyed Xia’er endlessly.

“I’ll say it again. Leave, now!” Shen Fei roared with a fierce glare.
Seeing Shen Fei so angry, Xia’er felt smug. He liked to see Shen Fei’s displeased expression.
“If you want to leave, it’s simple. Hand over all your money, and give sothing valuable while you’re at it!” Xia’er laughed arrogantly.
“We don’t want to die with you!” Zhang Fanglan said unhappily.
“Shut up! It’s not your place to interfere in my matters. Hurry up and take out everything you have, or don’t bla for being rude.” Xia’er glared at Zhang Fanglan nacingly.
“Xia’er, you…!” Zhang Fanglan was furious and wanted to kill Xia’er.
The others were also furious, but they could not do much for fear of attracting the exotic beasts.
“I hate trash who are afraid of death the most. In that case, let’s die together!” Xia’er grinned hideously, believing that they were all at his rcy.
Then, Xia’er ordered the Great Tortoise to attack the pythons and the wolves.
The Great Tortoise was extrely fast and reached the pythons in a heartbeat. It suddenly raised its giant claws and aid at a python’s head.
The Great Tortoise’s claws swiped down and the python’s head was smashed open, and blood splattered everywhere.
“Hahaha, what a weakling! It got headshotted by my spirit beast.” Xia’er cackled in manic glee.
However, at this mont, many giant pythons were drawn to their area, as if they were all here to avenge their brethren.
Seeing this, Shen Fei frowned. “This isn’t good, we’ve got trouble!”
More and more giant pythons gathered and surrounded them. Each giant python emitted a powerful murderous aura, and their bone-chilling gazes locked onto Shen Fei and the others.
“Xia’er, didn’t we say to stay put?” Aloy berated.
“Goddess Aloy, how can you say that about ? I was just trying to protect everyone.” Xia’er pretended to be wronged, like a little wife who was bullied.
Seeing Xia’er’s attitude, Aloy could not help but roll her eyes.
Shen Fei narrowed his eyes instead, and a touch of coldness appeared on his face. “This is the wilderness. There are many exotic beasts here. Are you sure you want to continue playing around?”
Shen Fei could sense that there were many terrifying auras hidden nearby.
“I…” Xia’er did not know how to answer.
“Aloy, Lilian, you two head west to distract so of the beasts. Xia’er and I will head east and do the sa. Zhang Fanglan, you and Li Yuan will distract them from the south. Understood?” Shen Fei said.
“Understood!”

As soon as Shen Fei finished speaking, the six of them imdiately dispersed.
“Don’t just stand there. Escape while they’re distracted!” Shen Fei warned seriously.
“Okay, let’s go!” Lilian nodded. She was extrely worried that the exotic beasts would chase after them.
Soon, the six of them split up the waves of exotic beasts.
Shen Fei and Xia’er were running quickly through the forest. The giant pythons and wolves were in pursuit behind them.
As Xia’er ran, he observed his surroundings, looking for a way to escape. Unfortunately, he had no clue which direction they were heading, because the forest was so dense that he could not tell at all.
Suddenly, Shen Fei shouted anxiously, “Oh, no! Xia’er, you’re slow, the pythons and wolves are not far behind!”
Hearing this, Xia’er quickly sped up, but he was still a step too late. Imdiately, two massive wolves charged out of the bushes and pounced on him.
“Damn it! I’m going all out!” Xia’er gritted his teeth. He jumped onto a tree with all his might and dodged a giant wolf’s attack.
The giant wolf’s ferocious gaze locked onto him, and it quickly climbed up the branches to continue chasing after him.
Xia’er sent out fireballs and wind blades, trying to stop the giant wolf from approaching.

However, the giant wolf’s skin was thick, and the fireballs and wind blades could not hurt it.
“Damn it! I don’t believe that I can’t defeat you!” Xia’er roared angrily.
