294 Dark Qi

In the next mont, a series of miserable screams echoed throughout the cave. This was the sound of the dark Qi being attracted to sothing.

But at that mont, Shen Fei did not have the ti to think too much about it. He hurriedly controlled the Black Sun to gather itself back and charge forward, hoping to stop any more destruction of the Black Sun.
However, the instant Shen Fei controlled the Black Sun to move forward, the Black Sun suddenly stopped and did not budge.
“What’s going on?” Shen Fei could not help his shock. He was puzzled, yet he could still feel his spiritual bond with the Black Sun, so he tried to fly forward once more.
However, no matter how hard Shen Fei tried, the Black Sun could not move even an inch forward. It was as if there was an invisible barrier that was blocking it.
At this, Shen Fei’s face turned gloomy. ‘Is this because of the dark Qi?’ he thought to himself.
If it really was dark Qi, then he was in trouble. The dark Qi could devour life and destroy energy structures. Once a victim ca into contact with it, no matter what level of cultivation they were at, the victim would imdiately be eroded by the dark Qi.
“Looks like I’ll have to use the Soul of Fire.” Shen Fei sighed. He really had no ti to think. After all, dark Qi was the nesis of all living things. He had to get rid of this scourge as soon as possible.
Shen Fei summoned the Fla Owl, “Fla Owl, co out.” It was ti to let the Fla Owl solve the problem.
In the next mont, a ball of fire, buffered by the powers of the Soul of Fire, gushed out of Shen Fei. As soon as the fla appeared, it imdiately rged with the Fla Owl, and its power suddenly increased and continued to rise.
Shen Fei and the Fla Owl charged at the demonic beast. The demonic beast opened its mouth and spewed out dark Qi.
However, the mont the dark Qi was spat out, it turned into black mist and disappeared.
‘This is…’ Shen Fei’s pupils shrank. ‘Could it be that the Fla Owl can absorb dark Qi? How is this possible?’
Dark Qi was one of the evilest energies in the world. The characteristics of this power were even more domineering than the shadow attribute energy. It could destroy everything at will. Even the heavens looked weak in the face of this dark Qi.
As such, dark Qi was the enemy of all living beings, and not many living beings could master it. Yet at this mont, the Fla Owl had easily absorbed it. This was sothing that Shen Fei never expected.

This vortex was like a huge black hole, sucking in the dark Qi and quickly disappearing. The speed at which the dark Qi disappeared was so fast that it disappeared with the bat of an eye.
“W-what’s going on?” Shen Fei was stunned, and his face was filled with disbelief. ‘My Fla Owl seems to have so kind of pattern on its abdon. Every once in a while, it’ll release dark Qi, and then absorb everything in the surroundings, including life.’
This was a strange energy. It did not belong to the darkness, but it had the trait of being able to devour everything, making it impossible to guard against. Even Shen Fei could only try to evade this kind of dark Qi. He did not dare to fight it head-on.
His Fla Owl was different though. It could absorb dark Qi. Once again, this was sothing he would never have expected.
“It seems that this dark Qi is the catalyst for the Fla Owl to increase its energy!” Shen Fei guessed. “Otherwise, how could it be absorbed so easily?”
As he thought about it, Shen Fei tried not to make careless conclusions.
With the Fla Owl by his side, he ran forward. Very quickly, Shen Fei discovered that the Fla Owl’s speed had slowed down.
“Could it be because of the dark Qi?”
