232 Flas Spewed In All Directions Like A Fiery Dragon
Zhang Yuxin’s smooth legs flailed about as if she had been run over by a heavy truck, and she almost fainted. The intense pain made her face twitch and large beads of sweat appeared on her forehead.
“This b*stard… is so powerful!”
Shen Fei raised his head and regarded the Golden Leopard with a cold gaze. The Golden Leopard had destroyed his defensive array with its attack. Clearly, this beast’s strength had exceeded his expectations.
As if it understood Shen Fei’s words, the Golden Leopard’s eyes turned scarlet red. It was furious. Its eyes were incomparably cold as it swept its tail at Shen Fei. The wind howled, and the tail glowed with a tallic light, like a sharp divine spear.

“Retreat, now!” Shen Fei hurriedly shouted. Zhang Yuxin did not hesitate and quickly retreated.
Seeing the two of them escape, the Golden Leopard roared at the sky. Heat waves gushed out of its nostrils, and its entire body turned into an afterimage.
The giant wings on its back flapped and cut through the air like blades. Its massive claws reached out like a steel hook, slashing through the air and heading straight for Shen Fei.
Every ti the Golden Leopard’s claws swiped at him, it was accompanied by a sharp wind. The strong wind whistled and seared the air, almost becoming a scorching heat.
The claw attacks made it seem like there were thousands of troops charging at them, making the two cultivators feel much anxiety.
Then, the Golden Leopard swooped down. It opened its mouth and spat out scarlet flas. The flas roiled like a stormy ocean. As the fire spewed out, the area was set ablaze.
The scorching temperature caused Shen Fei and Zhang Yuxin’s faces to turn pale. The flas were like molten lava, making it difficult to breathe.
“It’s too strong!” Shen Fei’s heart skipped a beat as he quickly pulled Zhang Yuxin back. Together, they kept running, but the flas continued to pursue them. As the flas continued to burn, the trees nearby were turned to ash.
These flas flared in all directions like a fiery dragon.
Seeing this, Shen Fei’s face turned solemn. “How is this Golden Leopard so tough?” he said for the umpteenth ti.
At this mont, Zhang Yuxin’s face was filled with shock once more. She knew even before they began their retreat that the Golden Leopard was formidable, but the fact of the matter seed to finally register in her mind at last. Still, it was unexpected for her.
Suddenly, the flas exploded, setting off a monstrous force wave. These waves rolled and swept out like a hurricane. Everything on that region of the mountain range was razed to the ground.
As the hurricane swept toward them, Shen Fei and the others had no choice but to retreat.
“What a terrifying attack!” Zhang Yuxin’s expression held the sa look of shock as before. “That firepower is too terrifying.”
She blinked and looked ahead solemnly. She no longer had the confidence from before.
After the two of them had retreated a few hundred ters, a loud noise was heard.
“What is that?” Their eyes were filled with anticipation.
A vortex had appeared. It was very large and at least thirty ters in size. The vortex stirred like a black hole that was about to devour everything. It also flashed with a cold light, like an entrance to another world.
“Could this be the wormhole to a secret realm?” The two of them were stunned when they saw the vortex. However, before they could think further, a mighty roar shook the heavens and earth.
A golden light burst out, tearing across the sky, and attacked the two of them. It was a golden claw that shone like tal, and seed to tear reality apart as it charged toward them.
A crashing sound was heard as the claw struck the two of them. Shen Fei and Zhang Yuxin both spat blood as they were sent flying from the impact.
The Golden Leopard roared before it lunged at them with its huge body and strong limbs. Its huge golden claw streaked across the sky, grabbing at Shen Fei and the other student.
“We’re done for!” Zhang Yuxin was in despair, “This spirit beast is too strong.” She felt powerless to deal with this vicious leopard.
The claw managed to smack Zhang Yuxin. The resulting force from the impact spread out, threatening to crush bones and sinew. Zhang Yuxin thought that all the bones in her body had been shattered, and that she was suffering from internal bleeding.
A miserable scream rang out, “Argh!” Zhang Yuxin’s body convulsed, her skin cracked, and blood sprayed out.
Seeing this, Shen Fei cried out, “Zhang Yuxin!”
The Golden Leopard was uncaring of what it had done. Its eyes turned to look at Shen Fei, and a vast power suddenly ca crashing down.
The Golden Leopard extended its claws, which were covered in lightning patterns, and was about to grab Shen Fei. The radiant markings were even intertwined with lightning. It was a suffocating power.
Shen Fei tried his best to dodge it. Unfortunately, this was the Golden Leopard’s domain, and it controlled this area.
As its claw descended on him, it imdiately sent Shen Fei flying. Then, the Golden Leopard took a step forward and pounced again. From the looks of it, it was determined to capture Shen Fei.
“Fla Owl, Flaming Bramble Inferno!”
The Fla Owl spread its wings and soared. As it flapped, dark flas flared out. This fla was corrosive and could burn everything.
Under the cover of these flas, the air morphed as if they had fallen into a world of fire.
“Coo, coo!” a screech resounded. The Fla Owl flew out and swooped down like a god from hell. The sky was torn apart by it.
The sharp claws of the Golden Leopard were cut off, and blood spurted from it. The Golden Leopard let out a blood-curdling roar. Its body suddenly reared up, breaking away from the dark flas, and it quickly retreated.
The Fla Owl dove at it with terrifying force waves as if it wanted to annihilate the whole region. The Golden Leopard backed away quickly, avoiding a fatal blow from the Fla Owl.
Seeing this, Shen Fei heaved a sigh. “That was close!”
“The Fla Owl can actually hurt the Golden Leopard?!” Zhang Yuxin’s eyes were wide open. She looked at the Fla Owl in the air, and her face was full of surprise.
She found that the Fla Owl’s aura was much stronger than before. Most importantly, the feathers of the Fla Owl seed to be more beautiful than before, as the flas lingered on it, making it even more extraordinary. Its body was even glowing faintly with golden light, as if it was about to turn into a bright sun.
On the Fla Owl’s back, a feather appeared. It was a purple tail feather that looked as though it was crafted from precious jade. It emitted a dazzling light, giving off a divine aura. A purple flower was even imprinted on the tail feather.
This was the tail feather of the Vermillion Bird, one of the Nine Nether Birds.
The runes on the tail feather were intertwining, as if it was about to perform a rebirth. It was also at this mont that an inexplicable power spread out. Following which, the space beside Shen Fei and Zhang Yuxin trembled.
A purple ray of light descended from the sky. The purple light flashed and landed on the shoulder of the Fla Owl. The Fla Owl’s body flashed and appeared beside Shen Fei… as a huge, five-ter-long purple roc.
