The sky.

A dragon-type pet beast so huge it seed capable of blotting out the sun.

Qiao Sang stared up at the scene above her, utterly bewildered.

She felt herself falling.

The silhouette of the dragon-type pet beast was gradually shrinking in her view.

But because of the blinding sunlight, she still couldn't make out its exact appearance, only that the edges of its wings were serrated, and a single horn grew atop its head.

Just as she was about to take a closer look at the dragon-type beast, everything suddenly froze.

She was suspended in midair, no longer falling.

What's going on? A dream?

As that thought flickered in her mind, she saw the clouds above her sweep rapidly in the opposite direction. Day turned to night, then to dusk, then to dawn, like a movie scene played in high-speed reverse.

Before she could figure out what was happening, everything returned to a normal flow.

It was dayti.

Two flying-type pet beasts drifted lazily past in front of her, each carrying a human rider who was chatting as they flew.

"Did you put on sunscreen?"

"Of course. Otherwise, with all this constant air travel, I'd get roasted alive."

"People in the central sky region probably have to wear sunscreen even in the middle of winter."

"Haha, looks like we're here. See that down there?" One of them pointed to the buildings below.

The other glanced at his phone.

"Yongtian City Beastmaster Center, this is the place."

The mont the words left his mouth, everything froze again.

Yongtian City Beastmaster Center... The sight before her grew hazy, her mind went dull, and as she silently repeated those seven words, her vision went black and her consciousness slipped away.

---

The next morning.

Qiao Sang awoke abruptly on a soft, spacious bed.

What a ss of a dream, and she could rember it so clearly...

She reached for her phone on the nightstand, saw that it was only 6:30, lay there for a bit longer, then finally got up, washed quickly, and headed to the living room.

At first glance, she saw Little Treasure fast asleep, slumped over the computer.

He was asleep? Qiao Sang stared in shock.

Back when she'd stayed up working for two straight months, even without Lubao's Healing Light, she had never once seen Little Treasure asleep.

And yet now, here he was, sleeping.

Her mind turning, she glanced around and spotted the Chan Chan Stones sleeping on the floor in a corner.

Then a thought struck her. She scanned the room quickly.

Where was Adinishi?

Normally, when she ca downstairs in the morning, she'd see it in the living room eating.

Little Treasure sleeping so strangely, and now Adinishi wasn't acting as usual... An uneasy feeling crept into Qiao Sang's heart.

"Xun xun..."

At that mont, Little Treasure stretched, waking up.

"Where's Adinishi?" Qiao Sang asked quickly.

"Xun xun?"

Little Treasure blinked sleepily.

That flute-playing guy isn't here? He rembered...

Before he could finish, Qiao Sang suddenly thought of sothing, turned, and hurried upstairs to open the first room.

Seeing that all the snacks were still piled high inside, she let out a long sigh of relief.

If the snacks were untouched, Adinishi should still be here...

"Xun xun!"

The thought barely ford before Little Treasure teleported to her side and called out.

He rembered, last night the flute-playing guy had played his flute, and then he'd fallen asleep

Qiao Sang: !!!

"Xun xun!"

Little Treasure paused, then called again.

And he had a dream, just like when he did predictions before!

Qiao Sang: ?!!

---

Half an hour later.

The hall.

"So you're saying Adinishi is no longer in the villa?" Pirite asked gravely.

Qiao Sang gave a quiet "Mm."

"I've searched every corner."

Liu Yao hesitated.

"But the food prepared for it, it didn't take any of it."

The living room fell silent.

"To leave at a ti like this... I told you-" Pirite's expression soured.

Qiao Sang cut in.

"Before Adinishi left, it played the flute. I asked Yabao and the others, they all dread of different places. And Little Treasure dread of the exact sa scene as during the last prediction."

Pirite's expression darkened further.

Why hadn't it warned them? He hadn't even summoned his own pet beasts!

Then sothing occurred to him. He patted his hair and asked, "Did you dream of any location?"

One strand of hair rose without wind.

Pirite's face brightened a little.

"Famu Moth dread too."

He sighed.

"Good thing at least one pet beast made a prediction, otherwise all our work would've been for nothing."

He glanced at Qiao Sang with envy.

"Didn't expect keeping your pet beasts outside all the ti would have this kind of benefit."

But Qiao Sang wasn't excited. After a few seconds' silence, she asked the question that had been gnawing at her: "Why would Adinishi leave without saying goodbye?"

She had known it would eventually play the flute for a prediction, sooner or later.

That's why she had already bought a ticket back to Blue Star, believing it would help her before she left.

But she hadn't expected it to predict while everyone was asleep, and then vanish without a word, without even taking its favorite food.

Normally, it got along well with everyone. It had gone to watch Little Treasure's movie, helped Gangbao train, and even cheered at her coordination contests...

"Xun xun..."

Little Treasure looked downcast.

Sure, he thought that glutton ate too much, always eating his stored rations, but leaving like this still felt strange.

At so point, Liu Yao had started looking at his phone.

"Don't bother guessing what a pet beast is thinking, especially a phantom beast. There's no standard." Pirite said, pulling out his phone to call soone.

"While the prediction is still fresh, we need to record and study the location."

Liu Yao put down his phone.

"Does Adinishi ever predict for humans?"

"Never heard of it." Pirite scrolled through his contacts.

"Records say it predicts the location of a pet beast's next stage of evolution, nothing about humans."

"You think it could predict for humans too? Predict what, the location for brain domain developnt?"

Qiao Sang's expression shifted.

"Did either of you dream of anything yesterday? A location, maybe?"

Pirite froze mid-dial.

"That's exactly why I asked." Liu Yao said seriously.

"It was a strange dream, very clear. First a scene, then ti rewinding, then people passing by, ntioning the exact na of the place."

"I've never been there, and I haven't had a dream I could rember so vividly in years. I just looked it up, it's real, and it's on Blue Star."

Qiao Sang took a deep breath.

"I had the sa dream..."

Pirite's heart skipped.

" too..."

Silence fell again, this ti, everyone's heartbeat was faster.

Qiao Sang swallowed and turned to Little Treasure.

"You said your dream was like the last prediction but different. Different how? Did it have an exact location?"

"Xun xun..."

He nodded without hesitation. Yes, Borsay Manor, No. 101.

"Xun xun!"

He pointed at his Beast master, making a gesture.

Qiao Sang froze.

"You're saying... my mom told you this address?"

"Xun xun!

He nodded again.

Just then, her phone vibrated.

Seeing the caller ID, she instinctively answered.

"Hello, dear. Got all your things packed? What ti are you leaving?" Ca her mother's voice.

"All packed. My ticket's for eleven this morning." Qiao Sang said.

"That's good. Rember-"

"Mom, I have a question."

Her mother imdiately caught the seriousness in her tone.

"Go ahead."

"What's Borsay Manor, No. 101?"

Liu Yao and Pirite openly leaned in to listen.

"Isn't that the house I bought near the Imperial Beast University for you? How did you know the address?" Her mother asked, surprised.

The three in the room exchanged stunned looks.

Qiao Sang steadied her voice, gave a brief explanation, then hung up.

She drew a breath.

"This prediction was different. Last ti, Little Treasure only dread of a place. This ti, he dread of a specific address, like soone in the dream told you outright."

She added, "Every one of us, and our pet beasts, had the sa kind of dream."

Pirite's expression was complicated.

"Looks like we won't need to find a mory-reading pet beast after all."

Silence fell over the room for the third ti.

"Do you want to clear out all the food upstairs?" Liu Yao asked.

"No," Qiao Sang said, hiding the emotion in her eyes.

"If Adinishi cos back and sees the promised food is gone, it'll get mad."

Pirite checked the ti.

"With travel and security checks, it'll take hours. You two should get going."

"Alright." Qiao Sang stood.

"We'll et again at the Imperial Beast University." Pirite said with a smile.

"At the University." She agreed.

"We'll et on Blue Star." Liu Yao said to Pirite, offering his hand.

"Blue Star." Pirite replied, shaking it.

After saying goodbye to Pirite and the newly-awakened Chan Chan Stones, Qiao Sang mounted Yabao's back with Liu Yao and headed for the starport in 1st District.
