As soon as the plane landed, Qiao Sang turned off airplane mode and imdiately received a string of ssages from Maral: [Why didn’t you co find today?]
[Does Fire Qilu still need to practice at noon?]
[Don’t tell you’ve given up!]
[Honestly, I still think Fire Qilu has great potential!]
[If you don’t need Fairy Treasure Butterfly anymore, at least don’t forget to watch the Coordination Tournant for the sake of all the past training.]
…I forgot to tell Maral. Qiao Sang replied: [Sorry, I forgot to tell you. I suddenly had sothing to do in another district. I’ll continue training when I get back.]
Maral seed to have been staring at her phone, replying instantly: [No worries, no worries! When will you be back?]
Qiao Sang replied as she got off the plane: [Not sure yet.]
Maral sent a flood of crying emojis: [Then… can you make it back in ti for the Coordination Tournant?!]
Just as Qiao Sang was about to reply, Teacher Pirite suddenly warned aloud: “Careful.”
At the sa ti, startled cries erupted among the passengers who had just disembarked.
Qiao Sang imdiately sensed sothing was wrong and looked up, various flying-type pet beasts were circling high above, eyeing the ground below like predators.
Suddenly, a massive five-ter-long teal bird-type pet beast began to glow with teal light and dove down from the sky like a blazing teal teor.
Boom!
As the teal glow neared the airport, it was stopped by an invisible barrier.
A sweet voice broadcasted through the speakers: “Ladies and gentlen, please do not worry. We guarantee the safety of all visitors within the airport. Please gather your belongings and leave the premises in an orderly fashion.”
Right after the announcent, another flying-type pet beast attempted to dive down but was once again blocked by the barrier.
So… this is 30th District…
Qiao Sang’s heart tensed up, her sense of danger spiking sharply. Without hesitation, she quickly ford hand seals.
Two orange-yellow star arrays lit up simultaneously.
At this mont, nearly all of the disembarked travelers were forming hand seals, filling the area with glowing star arrays. Her two arrays weren’t particularly eye-catching among them.
Soon, Lubao and Gangbao appeared within the arrays.
Nearby people glanced their way.
No matter where you were, unfamiliar pet beasts always drew attention.
“Stick close to and stay alert.” Qiao Sang instructed seriously.
Having visited the lower ten districts before, she knew it was safest to summon her pet beasts imdiately for close protection, if real danger struck, she might not even have ti to form seals.
“Yap!”
Yabao, who had been following alongside her, let out a cry first.
“Xun Xun~”
Little Treasure, who had been hiding invisibly, suddenly revealed himself. He removed his ring, reached inside, and pulled out Qiao Sang’s usual backpack, handing it to her.
Qiao Sang understood and took the bag, unzipped it, and slung it over her back.
“Lu Ai.”
Lubao leapt gracefully into the backpack.
Little Treasure disappeared again, hiding his presence.
“Gang Slice.”
Gangbao glanced up at the sky, her expression becoming serious. She then slowly enlarged her body, returning to her original size.
With all four of her pet beasts by her side, Qiao Sang instantly felt much safer.
Watching Qiao Sang’s swift and practiced moves, Pirite’s lips twitched slightly. He then looked up at the still-circling flying-type pet beasts above and frowned deeply.
He knew 30th District was dangerous, but his initial purpose for coming to Chaosu Star was tourism and relaxation, he had never visited this district before.
Unlike secret realms, where avoiding danger zones generally kept encounters with wild beasts manageable, and one could even camp and cook comfortably,
30th District seed to be crawling with aggressive wild pet beasts everywhere.
Thinking this, Pirite smacked his forehead and summoned aloud, “Co out.”
In the next mont, one of the hairs on his head suddenly thickened and squird like a worm, seemingly coming to life. It then jumped down, sprouting black fur as it grew taller and larger. Its head expanded with a pop, blue eyes gleaming, and two brown antennae curling around its cheeks.
Soon, it grew two pairs of black wings and limbs, standing with its arms crossed.
In an instant, it transford into a roughly three-ter-tall pet beast.
“Fafa.”
The black moth-like pet beast let out a low sound.
At once, the nearby summoned pet beasts visibly trembled, as if sensing sothing terrifying, and the surrounding people hurriedly backed away.
Witnessing this scene, Qiao Sang’s sense of security skyrocketed.
Famu Moth, an emperor-level insect-type pet beast, extrely aggressive, normally disguised as hair on its beast master’s head for protection.
She wasn’t unfamiliar with it, Pirite often relied on Famu Moth for aerial travel.
“What’s our next move?” Qiao Sang asked.
Pirite thought for a mont and said, “Let’s find a place to stay first.”
Qiao Sang hesitated: “You didn’t book accommodations in advance?”
Pirite glanced at her: “We ca here so suddenly. How could I have booked anything?”
Qiao Sang: …
Alright, alright… what a free spirit…
Qiao Sang suggested, “How about we just stay at the Beast Tar Center?”
Even in 30th District, the Beast Tar Center was a safe haven.
“Alright.” Pirite nodded.
“Let’s head to the Beast Tar Center then.”
Leaving the airport, Qiao Sang sat atop Gangbao while holding Yabao, and Pirite rode on Famu Moth.
The two soared high into the sky.
Though Famu Moth wasn’t very large, its intimidating aura made the nearby wild pet beasts scatter in avoidance.
I was right to bring Teacher Pirite along…
Qiao Sang thought as she gazed down from above.
There were countless wild pet beasts below, so even carrying riders.
Unlike other places in the lower ten districts, 30th District had virtually no vehicles on the ground.
Here, pet beasts appeared to be the only ans of transportation.
At that mont, a huge glob of green dung suddenly fell from the sky.
Just before it could land on Qiao Sang’s head, the green dung froze midair.
“Xun Xun…”
Little Treasure revealed himself again, his eyes glowing blue.
“Yap!”
Yabao bared his teeth, glaring fiercely upward.
Above Gangbao’s flying altitude, a massive six-ter-long bird-type pet beast looked down in disappointnt before flapping its wings and flying away.
“What’s going on?”
Hearing the commotion from Yabao and Little Treasure, Qiao Sang turned around to look.
When she spotted the falling dung from just a mont ago, she instantly realized what had happened.
Damn, I almost got crapped on…
Qiao Sang shuddered in horror, then turned to Little Treasure and said, “Get a hat.”
“Xun Xun~”
Little Treasure responded, pulling out his ring.
Pirite turned and asked, “Got an extra hat? Get one too.”
One minute later, both of them were wearing baseball caps.
With Famu Moth around, and the nacing-looking Gangbao, no wild pet beasts dared to approach or attack them along the way.
Their journey went smoothly.

An Hour Later.
Beast Tar Center.
The receptionist apologized, “Sorry, we’re fully booked.”
Before Pirite could say anything, a nearby passerby exclaid in disbelief, “You ca to stay at the Beast Tar Center without making a reservation?”
Pirite asked, “Are there really that many people staying here?”
The passerby countered, “This your first ti here?”
Pirite responded with a simple, “Mm.”
“No wonder.”
The passerby’s eyes filled with sympathy and pity: “In terms of accommodations, the Beast Tar Center is the safest place in 30th District. You usually have to book at least a month in advance. There are only a handful of hotels with decent security here, and you have to reserve in advance, otherwise, you’ll never get a room.”
“If you didn’t reserve anything beforehand… then congratulations, you probably won’t get a peaceful night’s sleep here.”
Hearing this, Qiao Sang’s heart sank with unease.
Pirite, however, remained calm: “Thank you. Got it.”
“So what do we do now?”
Once they were out of earshot, Qiao Sang asked.
“We can’t waste ti looking for accommodations.”
Pirite seed to have planned ahead and said, “We’ll just sleep on the streets here.”
