On the official website of Yulianton University, there was a page quite similar to a task center.

Students could post tasks they wanted to assign, and others could choose to take them on.

However, it was restricted to students and employed ntors of Yulianton University only, essentially an internal task center.

Qiao Sang didn’t post a task right away;

instead, she searched through the task history related to spatial lockdown.

This feature allowed one to quickly filter out people capable of completing a certain task and then contact them directly.

Whether or not the person accepted the task would then depend on one’s persuasion.

Qiao Sang operated the interface briefly.

Soon, historical records of spatial lockdown tasks appeared on the screen.

[Need a psychic-type pet capable of high-level spatial sealing to accompany a trip to 23rd District. Can go solo. Energy pills provided. Beast master may accompany. Food and lodging included. One-week duration. 30 points. Overti calculated at 10 points per day.]

[Looking for a beast master with a pet skilled in spatial lockdown to help et a training quota. June 7. 5 points.]

[Seeking a beast master to provide one-on-one training in spatial lockdown. Flexible timing. 500 points. Can prepay 200 points.]

[Status: Completed]

[Completed by: Pet Journalism Departnt, Ivina Alba]

Qiao Sang’s gaze fixed on the na: Ivina Alba.

500 points for learning spatial lockdown… She currently had 478 points and could prepay 200 now, then earn the rest in the anti, it shouldn’t be a problem… Although expensive, it’d all be worth it if she could learn the skill… With that thought, Qiao Sang hesitated no longer and clicked Ivina Alba’s na. Information about her appeared promptly.

Pet Journalism Departnt.

A recording classroom with a massive virtual screen.

“Mark didn’t accept your interview?” A young man in a gray hoodie asked the long-haired brunette next to him.

“No.” The woman sighed deeply as she put down her notes.

“He’s just too difficult. I’ve never t soone this hard to deal with. I even offered 300 points, and he still refused.”

The young man waved his hand dismissively: “Geniuses tend to be proud. He’s been topping the Beast master University's top 100 list for two years, it’s understandable.”

“Those Beast master University people are all ridiculously temperantal. I’m already a graduate student, technically their senior, but they don’t show even a shred of respect.” Ivina recalled being rejected by several students from the Beast master University during her undergrad years and couldn’t help but rant.

After a mont of thought, the young man typed sothing on his computer and pushed the screen toward her.

“Why don’t you try interviewing soone else?”

Ivina glanced at the screen and twitched her lips.

“A freshman with three general-level pet beasts? You believe this kind of post?”

“I do.” The guy nodded.

“You weren’t on campus the past few days, so you missed it. This freshman, nad Qiao Sang, was assigned to the Special Zone right at the start of term. She solo challenged all the other beast master freshn during the assessnt, and won.”

“I checked out her pets. Three from Blue Star, and one from our planet. That Ice Xilu, the one featured on the forums, looked different when it first appeared on campus. The one in the picture must be an evolved form.”

Ivina imdiately zeroed in on the key point: “She has four pets as a freshman?!”

“Mm-hmm.” The young man nodded.

“Everyone in our journalism departnt knows, except those like you who were gone.”

“So even if that forum post is exaggerated, she’s already raised two general-level pets…” Ivina murmured.

“Exactly.” He nodded again.

“In my opinion, she’s a more valuable interview than Mark.”

Ivina hesitated.

“But Mark…”

He interrupted, “What if what the forum said is true?”

If it was, then Qiao Sang’s interview value would completely eclipse Mark’s… Ivina thought for a mont, then said: “She’s in the Beast master Departnt too, and that talented? She’s probably even harder to get an interview with.”

The guy grinned.

“You should give it a shot. After all, freshn are usually the easiest to approach.”

Ivina suddenly stood up.

“You’re right! I’ll go find her now!”

Just then, a crisp voice called out, “Excuse , is Senior Ivina Alba here?”

Ivina turned and froze.

Why did the girl at the door look so much like the one in the forum photo?

“You’re… Qiao Sang from the Beast master Departnt?” The guy asked, sounding slightly uncertain.

Qiao Sang looked surprised.

“You know ?”

Ivina: !!!

Guy: !!!

“I’ll let you two talk. I have sothing to do.” He said, confirming her identity and promptly leaving the room.

Ivina looked at the black-haired girl in front of her, suddenly a little nervous.

“What brings you here?”

When you click a task completer’s na on the school site, it shows their achievents, departnt or occupation, and a photo. Qiao Sang recognized Ivina right away.

“I’d like your help teaching spatial lockdown.” Qiao Sang got straight to the point.

Ivina looked troubled. She was swamped lately, who had ti to teach spatial lockdown?

This skill wasn’t sothing one could teach in ten days or two weeks.

But looking at the girl in front of her, rembering all her impressive feats, Ivina gritted her teeth and asked: “Is it true that your Ice Xilu evolved into a general-level pet?”

As expected of soone from the pet journalism departnt, news traveled fast. That evolution had only happened yesterday… Qiao Sang secretly admired her sources and nodded.

“It’s true.”

She wasn’t too surprised the word had gotten out. After all, at least two Yulianton students had witnessed it.

Nowadays, news could spread in seconds.

Ivina took a deep breath and said seriously: “As long as you agree to an interview, I’ll teach you spatial lockdown!”

Then she paused and added, “But I can’t guarantee results, and the tiline is flexible.”

Hearing that, Qiao Sang swallowed the part about being willing to pay 500 points.

Interview her? What was there to interview? She was confused, but didn’t ask further to avoid spooking Ivina.

Just as Qiao Sang was about to ask about the teaching schedule, Ivina noticed her hesitation and, in a flash of boldness, added: “If you give exclusive interview rights for one year, I’ll not only teach you spatial lockdown, I’ll pay you 100, no, 200 points!”

Qiao Sang paused for two seconds.

“Deal.”

Ivina breathed a sigh of relief and smiled.

“Let’s add each other, and schedule the interview later.”

As Qiao Sang took out her phone, she asked: “When can we start the spatial lockdown lessons?”

Ivina thought for a bit.

“You can either give the pet you want to train, or set a fixed ti, and I’ll try to work around it.”

“How about 7 to 10 PM?” Qiao Sang asked.

Ivina thought it over and said: “That works for the next two weeks. After that, my schedule is uncertain. Let’s start with this arrangent, and we’ll plan ahead later.”

“Great.” Qiao Sang finished adding her contact and smiled.

“Looking forward to working together.”

She hadn’t expected to save her points and even earn 200 more.

“Likewise.” Ivina smiled too.

Looks like Cyril was right, no matter who it is, freshn are always the easiest to talk to.
