Living in a house of thorns was out of the question.

Qiao Sang still considered herself a being of flesh and blood.

While she wanted to rid herself of the negative effects of bond evolution as soon as possible, she had no intention of doing so through a thod that sounded painful just thinking about it!

Qiao Sang firmly refused, "No way, that’s too painful."

"Gang Guard."

Gangbao knew what her beastmaster was thinking. She let out a cry to express her opinion.

The pain now was temporary. It was better to endure it now than to face an enemy in the future and suffer unprepared.

Qiao Sang reasoned seriously, "That’s why I’m here, right? Trust , professional training thods are far more reliable than just enduring damage!"

"Gang Guard."

Gangbao pondered for a mont, then nodded, convinced by her beastmaster.

Seeing this, Qiao Sang silently breathed a sigh of relief.

She had managed to keep her body intact…

At that mont, a uniford staff mber approached.

"Miss Qiao, the trainer you specifically requested, Elma, is waiting for you in the training room. Please follow ."

Qiao Sang stood up and followed behind him.

They took the elevator to the third floor.

The third floor resembled a hotel, with a red carpet running along the corridor, flanked by individual training rooms.

The soundproofing seed excellent, she couldn’t hear a single noise. Qiao Sang curiously looked around.

It was her first ti visiting a private training facility like this.

The staff mber knocked on one of the doors.

"Co in." A voice responded from inside.

The staff mber pushed the door open and stepped in.

Qiao Sang followed closely behind.

The room was much larger than she had expected, equipped with several high-tech body analysis devices and various fitness machines commonly found in gyms.

At the center of the room stood a woman in a trainer's uniform, accompanied by a humanoid beast about two ters tall. Its body was mostly yellow, its eyes were slightly narrowed, its hands were covered in spikes, and there was a tile-like protrusion on its head.

Spike Fist Kid, a high-level Fighting-type beast that used its spiked fists to crush opponents. When its partner was in danger, it would use itself as a shield to protect them. It was a beast known for its loyalty… Information about the beast flashed through Qiao Sang's mind.

The staff mber exited the room and quietly closed the door.

"Good evening…" Elma greeted the girl who had entered with a smile.

But when her gaze fell on the bird-like beast at Qiao Sang’s side, she abruptly paused.

This beast was…?

Elma froze for a mont, then her expression turned to one of astonishnt.

"You actually have a Steel Guardian Falcon?"

It seed that people in 1st District were much more knowledgeable. Back in 19th District, hardly anyone could recognize Gangbao… Qiao Sang chuckled.

"She only evolved recently."

Elma suppressed her urge to ask further questions, after all, training sessions were billed by the hour, and so clients disliked wasting ti on idle chatter.

"What aspect do you want to train?" Elma asked.

"Defense." Qiao Sang replied.

Elma wasn’t surprised. Beastmasters often had to battle wild beasts. While the fights were primarily conducted by their beasts, beastmasters themselves were sotis inevitably injured.

Though there were specialized defensive suits available, they were inconvenient. Wild beasts could appear at any ti, and it wasn’t practical to wear such suits 24/7.

Moreover, beastmasters, despite the benefits of bond feedback, couldn’t match the offensive power of their beasts. As a result, enhancing their own defense to withstand attacks long enough for healing beasts to intervene had beco a common training focus.

Not to ntion, Elma was aware that Steel Guardian Falcons evolved through bond evolution.

Beastmasters with bond-evolved beasts experienced the sa pain as their beasts during battles. She had read about this in a beast encyclopedia before.

"Have you ever tested your immune defense capabilities?" Elma asked.

Who would test sothing like that for no reason? Qiao Sang shook her head.

"No."

Elma patiently explained, "As beasts evolve, beastmasters typically receive bond feedback. However, the effects vary depending on the beast’s attributes and traits."

"Generally speaking, the evolution of Fighting-type, Steel-type, and Ground-type beasts enhances a beastmaster's defense. On the other hand, beasts with innate healing abilities or healing-related traits boost a beastmaster’s immunity."

"These feedback effects aren’t usually noticeable unless specifically tested."

"For older or physically weaker beastmasters, the feedback is more apparent. But for most, the changes aren’t easily perceived."

"That’s why, whenever a beast evolves, beastmasters usually conduct a comprehensive physical assessnt to determine which aspects have been enhanced."

Well, that was new information… Qiao Sang felt like she had just learned sothing valuable.

Her lack of awareness was understandable, such tests were typically conducted by wealthy individuals. Qiao Sang had never grown up in that kind of environnt.

She was still unaware of this distinction and assud that all beastmasters underwent these tests.

Elma continued, "Our training difficulty is adjusted based on individual fitness levels, so before we begin, I’ll need you to test your immune defense capability."

She walked over to a specialized testing pod and operated the controls.

The pod door opened.

"Just lie inside." Elma instructed.

Qiao Sang didn’t hesitate. She quickly removed her shoes and climbed in.

The pod door slowly closed.

As ti passed, the test results appeared on the display screen.

Elma’s expression froze.

She stared at the numbers in complete disbelief.

This… this immunity level was ridiculously high?!

Anyone familiar with immunity tests knew that low immunity was bad, but excessively high immunity wasn’t ideal either. A balanced immune system was best.

Overly high immunity levels could increase the risk of autoimmune diseases.

But this girl’s immunity level far exceeded the normal range, yet her body was in perfect health!

This was beyond human limits, an inhuman level of immunity!

In other words, she was no longer within the human range!

Cases like this usually only occurred in beastmasters who had undergone multiple rounds of bond feedback and owned at least one Emperor-class healing beast!

Elma’s stunned gaze turned into a look of shock. Then, as if realizing sothing, she checked Qiao Sang’s defense stats.

Thankfully, those were normal… Elma unconsciously let out a sigh of relief. She pressed a button nearby.

The pod door automatically opened.

Qiao Sang sat up and put on her shoes.

"How did it go?" She asked.

Elma gave Qiao Sang a complicated look.

"Your immunity level has reached an inhuman level. Put it this way, you could be poisoned by a General-class Poison-type beast and still wouldn’t die imdiately."

Qiao Sang: ???
