Three matches, all ending in less than half a minute.

The audience stared at the defeated Rockdora, montarily stunned.

That... was fast?

They hadn’t even taken a few photos, and Naiden, who ranked 68th in last year’s D-Rank Beast Master Tournant, was defeated just like that?

Naiden’s fans were collectively devastated, so even unfollowed him on the spot.

A few couldn’t accept their idol’s poor performance and stord out, only to quietly return halfway.

Even if Naiden was disappointing, that kid was astonishingly strong...

And that mysterious beast that even the Beast Identifier couldn’t recognize, this was likely a once-in-a-lifeti sight.

The thought of missing out made them reluctant to leave.

Most of the audience had bet on Naiden winning 3-0 or 2-1.

After the second round, they knew their money was gone. With no more financial stake in the third match, they focused on Qiao Sang and her naless beast that had defeated Naiden three tis in a row.

“How is she this good? How did she raise her beast to be so powerful at such a young age?”

“She has the potential to be a star player! If I were a talent scout, I’d sign her in a heartbeat!”

“Do you think she’ll compete in this year’s Beast Tournant?”

“No way. Even if she looks mature, she’s clearly still in school and wouldn’t have the ti.”

“There are plenty of college students competing each year...”

“She doesn’t look like a college student, though...”

“I just want to know the na of that beast...”

While the audience buzzed with amazent, the comntator did his job:

“She won! Qiao Sang wins again! What a clever strategy, she announced ‘Fire Fang,’ but her beast used Hyper Beam instead, clearly setting a trap for Naiden.”

“It seems we’ve got a remarkable newcor this ti!”

Then, as if struck by a thought, the comntator continued:

“Still, I believe Naiden’s response wasn’t wrong. If the attack had actually been Fire Fang, his Stone Spike counter would have been an excellent choice, offering both offense and defense.”

“If Yandora were in peak condition, with its Sturdy ability still active, I believe the match would have been much more thrilling.”

He then asked, “Ms. Wang Xuezhi, what’s your take on this match?”

Wang Xuezhi leaned into the mic and shared her view:

“Qiao Sang is undoubtedly strong, but Naiden had already fought over twenty matches today, and his beasts’ stamina and energy were depleted. There was also a clear information gap.”

“As you ntioned, if Rockdora were at full strength, Qiao Sang wouldn’t have risked using Hyper Beam so recklessly.”

“I hope everyone views these three matches rationally. A player ranked 68th in the Beast Tournant is definitely not weak.”

The comntator glanced at her.

Wang Xuezhi, who ranked 116th in the last Beast Tournant, obviously didn’t want people questioning the skills of those ranked above her.

And criticizing soone ranked higher is risky, one wrong word could result in harsh online backlash.

He had initially thought Wang Xuezhi was just uncooperative, but now realized she actually knew how to navigate public opinion.

The matches continued.

Qiao Sang remained the defending champion.

After six consecutive wins, she signed an agreent that would grant her a 20% bonus from the betting pool if she beca today’s King of the Arena.

Ti passed, and challengers ca one after another, all leaving with a 0-3 defeat.

Initially, the audience placed small bets, unsure of Qiao Sang’s true strength. But after watching one 0-3 defeat after another, each match lasting less than a minute, they realized she wasn’t just so rookie, she was a cash cow!

The crowd grew more excited, betting everything they had.

In the betting pool, the odds of Qiao Sang winning 3-0 dropped from 10x to 5x, and then to 2.6x.

A staff mber, sweating nervously, approached the manager:

“Mr. Jude, shouldn’t we send in so stronger challengers?”

Jude, the middle-aged man in black, replied, “Aren’t the current challengers strong enough?”

“They’re not nearly strong enough. The gap in skill is too wide. If this keeps up, we’ll lose a fortune.” The staff mber argued.

Jude glanced at him.

“When have you ever seen the house lose money?”

The staff mber hesitated.

“But we’re already losing now...”

“This is only temporary.” Jude’s eyes glead as he watched the pony-tailed girl on the stage.

“We just need to make sure she doesn’t beco King of the Arena today, so she’ll co back next ti.”

The staff mber looked uncertain.

“Ordinary challengers might not be able to beat her.”

Jude smiled.

“Miss Frida is here today, resting on the 29th floor. I’ve already contacted her.”

The staff mber imdiately relaxed.

With Miss Frida involved, everything was under control.

In a private room, Tang Yi was grinning ear to ear.

He had won so much money tonight that he could afford a rare beast he’d never considered before.

“Aren’t you going to compete? You might be up next.” Yuna asked.

Tang Yi confidently replied, “No way. I didn’t even get a turn when Naiden was up.”

That’s true... Yuna silently agreed.

Qiao Sang’s strength was beyond her expectations. Using only one beast, Blazing Star be, she had won 23 consecutive matches. If she won the next one, it would be her 24th victory.

Even more shocking, Qiao Sang’s Blazing Star Canine had no energy-restoring items or inscriptions. She won purely on skill and internal power.

And she hadn’t even summoned a second beast yet.

Simply terrifying.

So, this is the level of a high school champion from Dragon Nation on Blue Star... Yuna thought as she watched Qiao Sang from the viewing window.

On stage, Yabao ended the fight with a Fla Charge.

The result of the 24th match was announced.

The comntator shouted excitedly:

“She did it! Qiao Sang wins again! If she wins the next match, she’ll be today’s King of the Arena!”

Yuna suddenly thought of sothing and asked:

“Did Qiao Sang sign the contract to receive the 20% bonus if she becos King of the Arena?”

“Of course she did.” Tang Yi confird, recalling witnessing the signing.

Yuna frowned and looked at the next challenger’s information on the holographic screen.

She froze.
