9:30 AM
Moting Hotel, first-floor lobby.
Qiao Sang sat on a reception sofa by the floor-to-ceiling window, reviewing the docunts that the Promise Spirit had given her earlier.
Just like the ones provided by Guo Didi, these docunts contained information about special admissions to top-tier universities.
However, Promise Spirit's materials focused on the Zhidia region.
Zhidia University ranked seventh among all top-tier universities in the nation. Qiao Sang picked out the highest-ranked universities in the Zhidia region, Zhidia University and Ancient Guwu University, and placed their special admission guidelines side by side for comparison.
Both were among the nation's top ten universities, and their special admissions policies were largely similar.
The main differences lay in the registration and assessnt dates, as well as the final test component.
In the Guwu region, the test was a Skill Application Assessnt with a maximum score of 100. In the Zhidia region, it was a Mystic Realm Survival Simulation with a maximum score of 200.
And then, there was one more important detail... Qiao Sang’s gaze shifted downward.
[Special Conditions]
[Candidates who place first in the national competition and own an advanced ghost-type pet beast may undergo an on-site test of their pet's energy value. If the ghost-type pet’s energy reaches 250,000, the admission score requirent will be reduced by 50 points.]
The energy limit for an advanced pet beast was 500,000. Little Treasure had only recently evolved, and his energy value had not been asured yet.
With four months until the Zhidia University entrance exam, Qiao Sang had no shortage of money. If she focused solely on resource investnt, she should be able to raise Little Treasure's energy value to 250,000 within that ti.
A 50-point reduction from the original admission requirent... That ant that for the sa subject category, the second-tier university cutoff score could drop another 50 points. What was last year's second-tier cutoff score for the Zhidia region again...?
Just as Qiao Sang was about to take out her phone to look it up, an excited but suppressed voice suddenly spoke beside her:
“Qiao Sang! You’re here so early! I didn’t keep you waiting too long, did I?”
Qiao Sang looked up and saw a girl standing in front of her. Though she looked haggard, her delicate features were still evident.
It took Qiao Sang a mont to match the heavily dark-circled, bloodshot-eyed girl before her to the well-grood Yu Ke she had previously sat beside.
“I just sat down not long ago.” Qiao Sang smiled.
“We agreed on ten o’clock. You’re early too.”
“That’s good!” Yu Ke let out a sigh of relief and sat across from Qiao Sang.
Noticing Yu Ke’s dark circles, Qiao Sang asked, “Didn’t sleep well last night?”
You won the championship. How could I possibly sleep?
Yu Ke suppressed her excitent and said, “I watched your match yesterday and got too excited. I was so hyped that I couldn’t sleep. But it’s fine, I once went three days without sleep in my senior year of high school. One night is nothing.”
Heaven knew how much her adrenaline had surged yesterday.
Champion!
The national campus Beast Mastering League champion for senior students!
And this wasn’t just any champion, it was a 15-year-old, with three advanced pet beasts, who dominated the entire senior division, even defeating advanced dragon-type pet beasts and general-rank pet beasts!
The weight of this championship title completely crushed all previous years’ champions!
And to think, she had actually managed to befriend such a monstrous genius!
Yu Ke sat up straight, focusing all her energy. She dared not let her guard down.
She knew very well that if she hadn’t been lucky enough to et Qiao Sang at that auction, there was no way she would have had the chance to invest in soone like her.
Three days without sleep… That’s intense. Qiao Sang marveled internally.
Yu Ke’s gaze burned with determination. She skipped further pleasantries and got straight to the point: “Whatever you need to do, I can do it!”
Soone like Qiao Sang wouldn’t carve out ti to et a re acquaintance without reason.
Since she was drawn in by Yu Ke’s investnt proposal, Yu Ke had to prove her value as quickly as possible.
Otherwise, once Qiao Sang returned to Yuhua, their contact would be limited to phone calls.
She couldn’t rely on verbal promises alone to leave a lasting impression on Qiao Sang.
If she failed to establish a mutually beneficial relationship in this conversation, how would she ever secure this golden opportunity?
Yu Ke fixed her gaze on Qiao Sang, waiting for her answer.
Qiao Sang pondered for a mont before responding seriously:
“I need to make money.”

6:40 PM
A plane ascended into the stratosphere.
In first class, a flight attendant served a al.
As Qiao Sang ate, she read a book.
The cover displayed six bold characters: "High School Knowledge Guide."
A small stack of textbooks sat on the stand in front of her, all high school-level materials.
She had made a special trip to a bookstore before heading to the airport just to buy them.
The flight attendant glanced at the scene, thinking, These kids nowadays… just how competitive do they want to be?
After the flight attendant left, Liu Yao couldn’t help but comnt, “Maybe eat first and read later?”
Qiao Sang shook her head.
“No way. The college entrance exam isn’t far off, I can’t waste any ti.”
Are you seriously aiming to get into a top-ranked university in your first year…? Liu Yao’s expression turned complicated. In the end, he decided against saying anything.
Having motivation to study was a good thing, no need to kill her enthusiasm with harsh realities.
Qiao Sang focused on her book.
After her conversation with Yu Ke that morning, she had thought things through.
Yu Ke’s family was well-established in Zhongkong. A quick online search confird their prominence. Though young, Yu Ke had the family backing to conduct legitimate business.
Money begets money.
With the right connections and a ten-month investnt period, Yu Ke had a high chance of making a profit.
If she really did make money for Qiao Sang, then Zhongkong would beco a necessary part of her future plans.
If that was the case, aiming for Zhongkong’s top universities was the most logical choice.
Among the nation's top ten universities, Zhongkong University (ranked #1), Imperial Capital University (ranked #3), and Dragon Ivy University (ranked #6) were all located in Zhongkong.
Each had its own unique admission tests, but all enforced a cap on the number of schools a student could apply to. The limit was generally five universities.
She could focus on these three top-tier universities in Zhongkong. Even if she failed, Ancient Guwu University could be her backup.
As for Zhidia University, she decided to rule it out this year, traveling there for the test would disrupt her study schedule.
With only a few months left before the college entrance exam, it was wiser to focus all her energy on Zhongkong’s universities.
This year’s special admissions guidelines for Zhongkong’s universities had yet to be published, but they were unlikely to differ much from last year’s.
Last year, the cultural requirent for special admissions was 65% of the second-tier university cutoff score.
The 2024 Zhongkong second-tier cutoff was 495.
That ant 322 points would have been enough for admission.
The number would likely remain around the sa this year.
Honestly, getting into a top-10 university with just 322 points sounded like a dream.
But the real challenge lay in the admissions test itself.
Academically, 322 points was ridiculously hard for soone like Qiao Sang, a self-proclaid academic underachiever still in her first year of high school.
Catching up on all of high school in just a few months was practically impossible, so she had to make every second count.

The next morning.
At dawn, the plane landed.
