The majestic Glide Owl had descended, its arrival commanding attention. Qiao Sang studied the beast before her, a towering figure over three ters tall, crowned with two tufts of wavy brown feathers.

This was a rare sight, considering the scarcity of advanced beast trainers capable of handling such a large pet beast. Most of the beasts seen on the streets were of beginner or interdiate levels.

Circumstances and niche aside, while the Fat Dove, a lesser form of the Glide Owl, was a popular choice among beast trainers, this marked Qiao Sang's first ti seeing its advanced form in reality since her transmigration.

anwhile, the viewership on the live-streaming platform was skyrocketing.

Barrage comnts flooded the screen:

"Finally! Family, I can’t believe we’re seeing Qiao Sang's livestream!"

"Where’s Ice Qiya? Why hasn’t she sent out Ice Qiya?"

"Damn, the platform is finally working properly."

"LOL, the size difference between these two pet beasts is hilarious."

"Where are my comrades from the Ancient Guwu region?"

"High schools across districts are full of talent. I was expecting Ice Qiya, but instead, I’m seeing an advanced pet beast! Isn’t this the evolved form of the Fat Dove?"

"Oh no, if this ghost-type pet loses, does that an Ice Qiya will face the advanced beast next?!"

"I want to see Ice Qiya, but not Ice Qiya getting wrecked!"

The elimination rounds had begun. The remaining contestants from within the province had gathered in one place, leaving just one livestream focusing on Zhejiang Sea Province. After the group stage concluded, the platform organizers had quickly assembled a dedicated managent and repair team to address the server capacity issues.

Of course, it wasn’t entirely the platform’s fault, who could have predicted that a simple provincial high school competition would draw millions of viewers? In the Ancient Guwu region alone, millions were glued to their screens.

At the Kainan Beast Battle Arena:

The ground sank, transforming into a terrain filled with sand pits.

“Caw!”

The whistle signaling the start of the match rang out.

In an instant, both Little Treasure and the Glide Owl vanished from their spots. The Glide Owl shot into the sky, while Little Treasure faded into invisibility. 𐍂Ã

“Xun…”

Little Treasure gazed at the colossal beast in the sky, his expression contemplative.

Why does it feel like this thing is on the sa level as Big Brother Yabao?

No way… Does my beast trainer think I’m this strong?

“Windstorm!” Ruan Yunwen scanned the field. Not spotting the Treasure-Seeking Demon, she imdiately issued a counterasure.

“Caw!”

The Glide Owl flapped its wings downward with trendous force, unleashing a gale that swept through the battlefield. Sand and dirt whipped into the air, transforming half the field into a dusty, yellow haze.

The environnt beca unbearable.

“Xun…”

Little Treasure pinched his nose in disdain, teleporting to a cleaner patch of air.

There you are. Ruan Yunwen’s eyes narrowed as the Treasure-Seeking Demon reappeared high in the sky. A strange unease gnawed at her, but she dismissed it, shouting, “Now, Wind Blades!”

The Glide Owl flapped its wings again, sending dozens of razor-sharp wind blades toward the Treasure-Seeking Demon. The high-pitched whooshing pierced through the air, audible even to the audience, leaving them in awe of the attack’s power.

Many spectators braced for the match’s conclusion, imagining the Treasure-Seeking Demon struck down. But the expected scene didn’t materialize.

The wind blades missed.

They hit the ground with dull explosions, sending debris flying. The destructive force was evident, had they hit their target, the match would have been decided imdiately.

Ruan Yunwen stared, dumbfounded, as the Treasure-Seeking Demon suddenly appeared in her section of the arena. Her usually calm deanor cracked, and she stood frozen.

How?! How did it teleport from the sky to my side of the field in an instant?

The audience, now more knowledgeable than those of the preliminary rounds, quickly caught on.

“That’s… teleportation!”

“No way! How does a Treasure-Seeking Demon know teleportation?!”

“Wait… isn’t it a ghost-type? They don’t have skills like this!”

“Unless… it also has psychic-type attributes?”

The revelation sent ripples of disbelief through the crowd.

High above the field:

The Glide Owl eyed Little Treasure, its gaze sharp and its wings growing more restless. It longed to attack but hesitated, looking back at its trainer for orders. Seeing none, it restrained itself.

Qiao Sang observed the subtle exchange with keen interest.

This Glide Owl seems willing to cooperate with its trainer, but their synchronization isn’t perfect…

She gestured subtly to Little Treasure, directing his attention to the ground. Instantly understanding, Little Treasure’s eyes glimred with blue light as he manipulated a wave of dust toward the Glide Owl.

“Windstorm!”

With a powerful flap, the Glide Owl obliterated the approaching sandstorm.

Qiao Sang signaled again.

“Xun~”

Little Treasure vanished once more, leaving Ruan Yunwen scanning the battlefield anxiously.

A screech of frustration from the Glide Owl drew her gaze upward. There, perched atop the massive bird’s head, was Little Treasure.

“Caw!”

The Glide Owl shook its head furiously, trying to dislodge the intruder.

“Flip maneuver!” Ruan Yunwen quickly commanded.

The owl prepared to flip mid-air when it suddenly felt lighter. Turning its head, it saw the Treasure-Seeking Demon hovering nearby, mockingly holding one of its feathers.

“Xun~”

The tiny creature even made a cheeky gesture, further infuriating the bird.

“Caw!!!”

Enraged, the Glide Owl charged at the Little Treasure, a green aura enveloping its form.

“Calm down, Big Swift!” Ruan Yunwen shouted, trying to regain control.

But the owl ignored her, driven by fury.

There it is, thought Qiao Sang. The cracks between them are showing. As long as Glide Owl starts doubting its trainer’s commands, it’ll reveal more openings. Little Treasure has a real shot at winning this!

As long as he doesn’t get hit…
