If soone were to ask now, "What is money?"
Qiao Sang would respond, "Money? It's just numbers."
From her spirit to her wallet, Qiao Sang had never felt so liberated.
This must be the difference between sudden wealth and painstakingly building riches, spending money without a trace of guilt.
"Let's buy so potions." Qiao Sang suggested.
As the saying goes, spending money helps you grow. She hadn't had the chance before, but now Qiao Sang decided to experience it to the fullest.
"Sure..." Ye Xiangting still seed to be in a daze.
Potion shops were plentiful on Wendan Street.
The demand for potions was high, which inevitably ant that low-quality or counterfeit potions often made their way into the market. At tis like these, certification from reputable appraisers beca especially important.
Among brands with esteed appraisers and potion masters, Original Learning consistently ranked in the global top five for both sales and reputation.
If you're going to buy, buy the best.
When Qiao Sang entered the Original Learning potion store, the place was quiet and nearly empty.
Although Original Learning ranked among the top five nationwide in sales, its prices were far higher than other potion brands.
In essence, Original Learning was the luxury brand of potions.
Their target custors were primarily mbers of their exclusive service program. Walk-ins often left within a minute of hearing the prices, realizing they couldn't afford anything.
As soone entered the store, a few employees who had been chatting glanced over briefly, quickly forming a judgnt:
A woman taking her daughter out for a casual stroll. She might buy sothing, but probably no more than a few thousand yuan, not worth cultivating as a long-term client.
The seasoned employees remained still, while a newer hire took the initiative to approach.
"Miss, what kind of potion are you looking for?" The staff mber asked with a polite smile.
Though she doubted these two would buy much, it was still necessary to ask symbolically.
Casual browsers usually said, "Just looking," which ant she wouldn't need to bother further.
Ye Xiangting murmured, "Ask my daughter. She's the one buying."
The staff mber maintained her professional smile and turned to the ponytailed girl beside her.
Qiao Sang thought for a mont before saying, "Could you introduce all the potions suited for fire, psychic, ghost, water, ice, and flying-type companion beasts?"
The staff mber blinked in surprise.
"Of course."
High expectations were better than none. In her limited experience, about 70% of casual browsers who made specific requests ended up buying sothing.
With renewed enthusiasm, she led them to the central glass display case and pointed to a red potion inside.
"This is the Swift Fla Potion. It enhances a companion beast's ability to absorb fire-elental energy. This bottle is rated Grade B and has a mild effect, making it ideal for fire-type beasts below General rank."
She then gestured to a nearby transparent potion.
"And this is the Breakthrough Elixir. After consuming it, a companion beast enters a simulated breakthrough experience, aiding its evolution. It’s highly effective for beasts below Royal rank. This bottle is also rated Grade B."
Continuing her introductions, she pointed to another potion:
"The Nine-Ice Potion is a newly developed product perfect for ice-type beasts. With this potion, an ice-type companion beast can unleash significantly more powerful skills compared to others of the sa level and skill proficiency."
This ti, the staff mber tapped and swiped on the glass above the Nine-Ice Potion, bringing up a video display.
The footage showed two ice-type companion beasts, both appearing nearly identical.
A well-dressed woman in her thirties introduced them:
"These two Ice Fenmoths were carefully selected for identical size, age, and skills. The only difference is that the one on the left has consud our Nine-Ice Potion."
The cara focused on the left Fenmoth.
"Fenmoth!" It chirped, confirming the claim.
"Let’s demonstrate the difference between their ice-based skills, assuming equal proficiency."
With a signal, both Fenmoths flapped their wings and released Frost Wind at each other. The left Fenmoth's attack was noticeably stronger, freezing half of its opponent's wing.
"See the difference?" The woman returned to the cara, brimming with enthusiasm.
"This is the power of the Nine-Ice Potion! Both Fenmoths had moderate skill proficiency, yet the difference in impact is staggering!"
"With just nine bottles, your ice-type companion beast can beco a king among its kind!"
"This is the unparalleled effectiveness of the Nine-Ice Potion!"
The video concluded, and the display case returned to its original state.
Qiao Sang stared at it for a long ti without saying anything.
The staff mber, assuming the part about needing nine bottles had given her pause, offered reassurance:
"Although nine bottles are ideal, you can purchase them one at a ti. They’re ant to be taken weekly."
After her lengthy explanation, the staff mber noticed the girl still hadn’t responded. She began to suspect this might be one of those 30% of browsers who made requests but didn’t buy.
Just as she was preparing to pivot to cheaper options, the girl asked, "Do all your potions have introductory videos like this?"
The staff mber blinked, then nodded.
"Yes, every single one."
Qiao Sang thought for a mont.
"Then pack up all the potions suitable for fire, psychic, ghost, water, ice, and flying-type companion beasts rated S-grade or higher. Also, include a copy of each potion's introductory video."
The store was quiet enough for every staff mber to hear her words clearly.
Everyone froze.
The staff mber assisting them was completely stunned, as though a wild dragon-type companion beast had suddenly appeared and offered to contract with her.
In disbelief, she glanced at the silent woman accompanying the girl. Surely, the adult was in charge of such a decision?
Ye Xiangting, rembering scenes from the over-the-top dramas of her youth, replied coolly, "Since my daughter says so, pack it all up."
The staff: !!!
