"Yap!"

Yabao excitedly ran over, stopping in front of his Beastmaster, gesturing enthusiastically with his paw, pointing at the sky and the direction where the red flas had fallen.

"Yap-yap!"

"Yap!"

Qiao Sang was still in a daze, while Little Treasure floated over to Yabao, full of admiration.

"Xun!"

"Xun-xun!"

"Yap~"

Yabao couldn't control his grin. He raised his right front paw, gesturing modestly as if to say it's nothing, but his bright black eyes were gleaming with anticipation as he looked at Little Treasure.

Little Treasure clearly understood what Yabao really wanted and praised him even more.

"Xun-xun!"

"Xun!"

After a while, Qiao Sang's brain finally started functioning again, spinning rapidly.

Why did it succeed?

Logically, there’s no way he should have learned it so quickly. The speed at which he picked up the skill seed completely unscientific.

Of course, successfully casting a skill once doesn’t an it’s mastered. It could have been triggered by so fleeting mont of luck, and it’s very likely that it won’t succeed again soon.

But for Yabao, that’s not the case. With the help of her golden finger, he can successfully cast any skill he executed once, 100% of the ti.

But what was the trigger for this ti?

Relying solely on innate talent doesn’t seem to explain it, this is a high-level skill, after all. There must be another reason.

Qiao Sang thought back on the day's events. Other than running a marathon, Yabao hadn't done much else.

Could it be that physical training made it more attuned to its internal energy? Or did the activation of its Blaze trait unleash so hidden potential?

It’s not impossible, after all, a boost in one aspect of a pet beast's abilities can affect other aspects too.

For example, after gaining weight from eating well, a beast might find it easier to train for a skill like Mountain Press.

But even if training physical strength triggered the Blaze trait, learning teor Rain still feels a bit implausible.

Suddenly, Qiao Sang thought of sothing and opened the Beast Codex.

Level: Beginner (935/1000)

[Primary Trait: Blaze

Level: D (2/500), Status: (difficult to use), Description: (When health falls below 1/4, potential is triggered, fire skills increase by 2x, speed increases by 2x)]

Skills: Bite (Entry-level 74/100) , Charge (Mastery 498/500) , Fire Fang (Proficient 694/2000) , Ember (Ultimate 10786/20000) , Shadow Clone (Proficient 1271/2000) , Fire Whirl (Mastery 220/500) , Fla Charge (Mastery 165/500) , teor Rain (Beginner-level 1/100)

Points: 786

Sotis, things that don’t make sense beco clear when you look at the data.

For the past two weeks, Yabao had been focusing on practicing the Ember skill.

With the help of F-grade energy recovery liquid, Yabao could practice Ember 640 tis a day. Just the day before yesterday, he had mastered Ember to the Ultimate level.

Skill proficiency is divided into six stages: Beginner-level, Mastery, Proficient, Advanced, Perfect, and Ultimate.

Ultimate is the highest level of skill proficiency.

Looking at the data in the Beast Codex, Qiao Sang's thoughts beca clearer.

Yabao had already mastered a fire skill to the Ultimate level, aning it had reached a very high level of control over fire energy.

Add to that the recent activation of Blaze, and it all made sense why teor Rain was successfully cast.

If that’s the case, it’s no wonder there are no examples of low-level pet beasts learning high-level skills.

After all, pet beasts have limited energy. At the beginner stage, no Beastmaster would think of training a pet to master a skill to the Ultimate level.

That’s the Ultimate level! Even for basic skills, it would take years to reach that level. It’s much more practical to let the pet evolve early and focus on higher-level skills.

The more Qiao Sang thought about it, the more she felt her analysis was on point.

She looked up at the status again.

Level: Beginner (935/1000)

Qiao Sang was montarily stunned. Yabao had been wearing an E-grade Fire Condensing Orb lately, which increased its points by 7 per day.

It was at 905 points last night, so how had it gained 30 points in one day?

Was it because of Blaze?

But this wasn’t the ti to think about that!

Qiao Sang exited the Beast Codex and quickly squatted down to remove the Fire Condensing Orb from Yabao's neck.

That scared her!

She hadn’t paid much attention to the steady daily increase in points before, but now that it had jumped by 30 in a day, she realized there was a problem.

At this rate, she wouldn’t even need to use her golden finger to add points—Yabao would evolve on his own in about 10 days!

When she beca a Beastmaster, she never dread she’d one day worry about her pet evolving too quickly.

"Yap?"

Yabao, still basking in the glow of complints, snapped out of it and looked at his Beastmaster in confusion.

"That string doesn't suit you anymore. Let find a nicer one to replace it." Qiao Sang said seriously.

"Yap."

Yabao looked at the black cord around his neck and nodded in agreent.

Now that he had mastered teor Rain, he deserved better equipnt.

Little Treasure, standing to the side, glanced at his Beastmaster, then quietly stepped back, flipping his own Prayer Beads necklace to hide it behind his back, fearing he might be targeted next.

---

Over the next few days, Yabao practiced his Ember skill by the river, occasionally running laps with his long-forgotten weight bands to train his stamina.

Yabao had wanted to train after being provoked by Thunder Swiftbird, and now he was training his stamina after the marathon.

As for teor Rain training, that was put on hold for now.

The day after teor Rain was mastered, Qiao Sang ran a similar test. Unlike other skills, Yabao’s clones couldn’t cast teor Rain.

After so trial and error, they discovered that for now, only Yabao’s main body could cast teor Rain, and his current limit was three tis.

Moreover, the red flas produced by the exploding energy balls were still few in number, as Qiao Sang had guessed earlier, the current energy level wasn’t enough to create a true storm yet.

But that was just a matter of accumulating energy; it would happen eventually.

Qiao Sang told Yabao not to rush, but she herself doubled the ti spent practicing spirit patterns on Little Treasure each day.

She couldn’t help it, her two pet beasts were so talented, learning new skills as if it were child’s play. If she didn’t work harder, she’d feel too embarrassed.

By the evening of July 30th, after finishing training and returning to the room, Yabao, as usual, watched a battle match.

Little Treasure blinked his eyes at the bedside.

"You’re teleporting, right? If you keep clenching your fists and holding your breath before every move, the fast opponents will reach you first." Qiao Sang lectured patiently.

"Xun."

"Xun-xun."

Little Treasure pointed at his rear.

Qiao Sang sighed, "How many tis do I have to tell you? You can’t pass gas."
