"Awooo"

A furious howl rose from the back of the wolf pack.

The slightly chaotic wolf pack instantly regained order.

Chu Chen followed the sound and saw that the one commanding the wolves was a larger ice plains wind wolf.

"A Wolf King? Now that’s interesting."

Chu Chen had encountered many wolf packs and naturally understood the strategy of capturing the leader first to capture the entire gang.

Chu Chen patted Shadow Kill’s head and whispered, "Go et the Wolf King."

Shadow Kill nodded upon hearing this, its tallic body instantly launched, its aura directly soaring to Monarch-level Fourth Rank. It wasn’t finished yet; it also unleashed its racial secret technique, causing its aura to surge again, reaching Monarch-level Sixth Rank.

Shadow Kill seed quite satisfied with its own power and let out a neigh as it disappeared from where it stood.

The Wolf King seed to sense sothing; it stopped commanding the pack and instead nervously monitored its surroundings.

Shadow Kill did not imdiately attack but kept a distance of several zhang, keeping the opponent in a constant state of tension, which would inevitably lead to a mistake over ti.

Chu Chen seized the opportunity to check the Wolf King’s information.

The Wolf King had reached the Monarch-level Peak. Dealing with such an opponent, even with all cards on the table, Shadow Kill couldn’t guarantee a one-hit kill.

Hence, it had to find the right mont to strike.

Sister Su was shocked again watching Chu Chen disappear.

In just a minute, she felt her entire worldview turned upside down.

Could everything her father said be true? Is he really the disciple of the Pavilion Master, and the top of the Daoist school exchange?

His strength was frighteningly strong, surpassing levels was as simple as eating and drinking.

Could her and her father’s act truly fool such a genius?

And if discovered, could she and her father withstand his wrath?

While Su Lingyun daydread, changes occurred again on the battlefield.

Lei Yao fought with increasing enthusiasm, his stick skills seed to have improved too, killing more than twenty ice plains wind wolves in just two minutes.

Nirvana was not to be outdone; the undead army’s fearless fighting style terrified the wolves, causing them to consider fleeing as their kin kept dying.

The Wolf King observed all this and couldn’t help but feel anxious; these were its kin and subordinates, and each death weakened its group.

The Wolf King couldn’t care less about its own safety; it tilted its head back and howled.

At the mont it opened its mouth, Shadow Kill, who had stayed put, suddenly moved.

Its insect wings buzzed rapidly, its body turning into an afterimage, and a golden blade light suddenly descended.

All this happened too suddenly; even though the Wolf King was prepared, it couldn’t avoid it.

However, under Chu Chen’s instructions, Shadow Kill didn’t aim for the Wolf King’s head, but rather its waist.

The trait of a wolf is a Copper Head, Iron Bones, and Tofu Waist; the waist is also a weak spot.

Of course, this was only one reason; the other was to leave the Wolf King debilitated, causing the entire pack to be afraid to fight or flee.

Chu Chen intended to slaughter the entire wolf pack.

The blade fell, accompanied by a clear "crack," severing the Wolf King’s spine.

A shrill howl echoed across the battlefield, plunging the wolf pack into chaos.

The Wolf King was the pack’s core, and now heavily injured; their combat will vanished instantly.

The pack imdiately abandoned Lei Yao and Nirvana, turning towards the Wolf King.

Observing this, Chu Chen’s lips twitched upwards; it was clear his plan succeeded.

At this mont, Su Lingyun ca up to Chu Chen and asked incredulously: "Do you intend to kill the entire pack?"

Chu Chen replied naturally, "Of course, encountering so many Star Beasts in the Secret Realm is not an easy feat."

Su Lingyun was taken aback by his response, never imagining receiving such a reply.

Her ideal outco was for the two to flee smoothly, yet this young man before her aid to annihilate the entire pack.

Chu Chen didn’t concern himself with the shocked Su Lingyun, focusing entirely on commanding the battle.

The wolf pack surrounded the Wolf King tightly, activating all their defense skills, clearly aiming for a defensive battle.

The pack working together was indeed quite a headache; they must be scattered.

However, Chu Chen had already devised a counter-strategy.

He waved his hand, imdiately directing Nirvana to let the undead army launch a death charge.

This was to absorb the pack’s skill attacks, while Lei Yao stood by, waiting for the right mont to strike.

Chu Chen patted Shadow Kill beneath him, saying coldly, "Go play with the Wolf King again."

Shadow Kill’s eyes narrowed upon hearing this, and it vanished once more.

When Shadow Kill reappeared, it was already beside the Wolf King, and the golden blade light fell, directly severing the Wolf King’s paw.

A tragic wail escaped from the Wolf King’s mouth, and chaos engulfed the pack again.

After succeeding in its attack, Shadow Kill retreated instantly, leaving the wolves unable to find it.

At this mont, Chu Chen suddenly shouted: "Lei Yao, strike!"

Upon hearing this, Lei Yao imdiately thrust his stick forward, charging into the wolf pack in an instant, his hands flashing with a blood glow, leaving the pack no ti to react.

Lei Yao tightly gripped the Ruyi Stick, using himself as the center, waist and horse as one, and swept horizontally with his stick.

The pack was swept off their feet, instantly breaking their defensive formation.

Nirvana imdiately commanded the undead army to charge in, throwing the pack into chaos once more.

The speed at which Lei Yao attacked accelerated, and the pack’s numbers dwindled at an incredible rate.

Chu Chen wouldn’t allow the pack another chance to regroup.

Su Lingyun once again plunged into shock as she watched Chu Chen’s brilliant command.

All appeared to be within his calculations; this was a Monarch-level wolf pack, and even King-level Star Beasts would steer clear.

Upon realizing this, Su Lingyun’s complexion turned pale; how could soone with such intelligence not see through her and her father’s act?

As she pondered, the young man’s voice ca again.

"Do you know where the wolf pack’s den is?"

Su Lingyun only ca to her senses upon hearing him, looking at the young man’s calm deanor, she shook her head nervously.

Chu Chen frowned slightly at her response, realizing this might require so extra ti.

After a short while, the pack’s numbers had dwindled over ninety percent, leaving just a few injured ice plains wind wolves.

Chu Chen imdiately ordered Shadow Kill to finish off the Wolf King.

With the Wolf King’s death, the remaining ice plains wind wolves naturally wouldn’t continue fighting to the death.

They exchanged glances before all fleeing into the distance.

Witnessing this, Lei Yao sought to block them, but Chu Chen stopped him.

Su Lingyun asked in confusion: "Why are you letting them go?"

"If I don’t let them go, how will I find their lair?"

Su Lingyun suddenly understood upon hearing this, but then realized sothing, and her face turned deathly pale.

Chu Chen saw her and asked with concern: "Are you hurt?"

Su Lingyun shook her head, took a deep breath, and suddenly cupped her fists to Chu Chen, saying: "Earlier, my father and I deceived you. I hope you can forgive us, we had no other way, which led us to such a plan."

Chu Chen waved his hand upon hearing this, saying: "It’s nothing, no need to hold a grudge over trivial matters. I understand your situation."

Su Lingyun felt a chill of fear at his words, realizing he had long seen through their intentions.

She bowed again, saying: "Thank you for your understanding." Her attitude a stark contrast to before.

This ti, Su Lingyun bowed lower, revealing her white chest in its entirety to Chu Chen.

Chu Chen’s face turned red at this, and he quickly turned his head, flustered, waving his hand: "No... it’s nothing, Sister Su, no need for such courtesy."

Su Lingyun covered her mouth and laughed upon seeing this, her laughter tinged with a hint of teasing.
