Captain Li led his subordinates out of the passage. He looked at the littered corpses and then at the teachers, cupping his hands, "This was our failure to guard the city, letting the beast horde rush in. I’m Li Lang, Captain of the first squad of the City Defense Army, call upon if you need any support in the future."
Ye Qing smiled warmly and introduced himself, exchanging pleasantries.
