Such a grand scene, perhaps only the existence of a Primordial Spirit True Immortal Level presence could remain unscathed, or even suppress it.
Now, even though Gu Yuan was deep underwater, dozens of miles below the sea, he could clearly feel the surrounding seawater beginning to ripple and sway.
It was as if a pair of large hands were stirring the water in the tank chaotically, and the small fish and shrimp at the bottom felt just like this.
The big fish and sea beasts around were terrified and panicked, scurrying around in all directions.
In contrast, Gu Yuan appeared quite calm. His whole being seed to rge with this body of water, and even when the seabed swayed and rocked, he was not affected in the slightest.
Thus, Gu Yuan stayed obediently in the depths of the sea, waiting quietly. Three hours later, with the storm whirlpool passing, he cautiously surfaced.
At this mont, the sea surface had already cald down.
However, on the surface, many debris were floating.
Among them were dead fish, shrimp, crabs, turtles, shells, and sea beasts’ carcasses, as well as broken wood, tattered cloth, coral, and other debris.
Gu Yuan also found that many of the spirit fish and sea beast corpses were quite valuable, so he collected a considerable number of them.
Among them were a Seven-Star Eel several ters long, two Green Jade Sea Shrimps thicker than a human’s thigh, and an Iron Armor Crab the size of a water tank.
These seafood were extraordinarily large, and their flesh was surely much superior to that of ordinary fish and shrimp.
If he had the ti, he would really need to learn so culinary skills to savor the taste of these sea fish and sea shrimp.
"Hmm, what is that...?"
Just as Gu Yuan picked up a sea star, this sea star was huge, five feet in diater, not yet completely dead, with so vitality remaining.
Gu Yuan casually killed it with a shake and collected it.
His gaze shifted, and out of the corner of his eye, he noticed sothing floating on the water’s surface so distance away.
Gu Yuan had initially paid it little mind, but upon taking a closer look, his spirit was imdiately invigorated.
It was unexpectedly a Flood Dragon!
This Flood Dragon was over forty ters long, its body covered in dark purple, densely packed scales the size of a palm, with two sharp claws on its belly and a purple-red horn on its head.
Even from afar, though deceased, it still emitted a chilling ferocity and Evil Qi.
However, now, the Flood Dragon was quietly floating on the water’s surface, completely motionless.
Its head was missing a piece, and even so faint yellow brain matter was visible oozing out, obviously a fatal injury.
Evidently, this was an unfortunate creature that, due to the passing storm, t its demise here unexpectedly.
Without saying a word, Gu Yuan flew over and collected the Flood Dragon’s corpse into his Storage Pouch.
Flood Dragons, being a special type of Spirit Beast, if they continue to evolve, can eventually transform into Divine Beast True Dragons.
Of course, not all Flood Dragons can evolve into True Dragons.
For instance, the Flood Dragon Gu Yuan collected had two claws and a single horn. Even calling it a Flood Dragon was generous; it was at best a Jiao, with the "Dragon" part needing to be omitted.
To continue evolving, it would need to grow another pair of claws, its single horn would need to beco two, and even its bloodline would need to transform repeatedly.
At least, compared to the Fire Jiao he had seen at the Red Dragon Immortal Palace before, this particular Flood Dragon fell far short, being just a Golden Core Level Flood Dragon Serpent at best.
Nonetheless, this Jiao was a treasure; its scales, flesh, bones, Jiao sinew, and even its Inner Core were rare treasures.
So of these could be used as Spirit dicine, while others could be refined into Magical Artifacts or used to feed Spirit Pets.
Especially the Jiao sinew, which Gu Yuan had seen in Su Qiuyue’s possession before, used for a Dragon-binding Cord, which primarily used Jiao sinew as material.
Of course, with Gu Yuan’s current strength and assets, there was no need to pay too much attention to these things. However, it was undoubtedly a windfall, a pie from the sky, so it was certainly delightful.
Getting a Flood Dragon corpse for free, Gu Yuan was in a good mood.
However, at this mont, Gu Yuan noticed so figures in the distance pointing and shouting in a hostile manner.
With a sweep of his Divine Thought, Gu Yuan clearly noticed that these people’s bodies were shrouded in varying amounts of Demon Qi, and they bore so traces of demons as well.
For instance, one person’s forehead had grown a fleshy horn, another’s face had fine scales like those of sea fish.
Another person’s gills had grown organs similar to fish gills, inhaling and exhaling with every breath.
But if one had to say they were demons, these people still possessed so human characteristics.
"Could they be human... demon hybrids?"
Gu Yuan entertained a thought. In this world, unlike his previous life, there was no reproductive isolation concept.
In this world, so demons and creatures could cultivate and take human form, being able to mate with humans and produce offspring.
The best example would be Fox Demons transforming into beautiful won, then mating with a Scholar and having offspring.
Their offspring would be human-demon hybrids.
Another theory is that, during ancient tis, humans and gods cohabited, and the offspring from their unions were also hybrids.
Though gods mostly appeared human, their essence was otherworldly and supernatural, already beyond the realm of ordinary beings.
So, humans and demons could have offspring.
Additionally, when so human-demon offspring mated with humans again, through generations, as the bloodline beca more diluted, so demonic traits would disappear, but perhaps in certain generations, the demon bloodline would suddenly awaken.
These distant hybrid demon people should be descendants of various Demon Races and Human Races intermingling.
However, due to their identity, these hybrids were often scorned and oppressed by both the human and demon powers.
So, apart from a select few, these hybrids typically didn’t fare very well.
But Gu Yuan found it odd, seeing these human-demon hybrids in the distance, with a fierce look and rebel deanor.
A group of human-demon hybrids being so hostile clearly ant they had a strong backing.
Gu Yuan hadn’t paid much heed to them initially, continuing to search the area for benefits. To his surprise, this group gathered and mumbled to each other for a while, then flew towards Gu Yuan.
"You there! Stop!"
Hearing this, Gu Yuan turned around. He saw several human-demon hybrids charging aggressively towards him.
With a calm deanor, he said indifferently, "What guidance do you have for , gentlen?"
"Kid, I saw you pick up that Flood Dragon corpse just now. Be sensible and hand it over. It was sothing we hunted recently, injured heavily, and it happened to escape here."
The leader stepped forward a few steps, speaking with a smile that didn’t reach his eyes.
This individual had a single horn growing from the center of their forehead.
The horn was about an inch long, emitting a faint Spiritual Light, and his appearance was quite handso.
