Chapter 196: Fusion of Snake Venom

“Xu Chunjun, General.”

When Zhou Ming flipped the materials to the final page, the Alliance, in order to boost morale, had deliberately marked out the Transcendent Beast Tars being deployed.

Among them was Xu Chunjun, who had been promoted from lieutenant general to general.

Qinghui Base and Yunhai Base had been established relatively late. At present, there were no Transcendent Beast Tars among the civilian population. Even if any had appeared before, they had already passed away, such as the old ancestor who founded the Duanmu Family.

At present, there were only the City Defense Army commanders of the two bases, the principals of the Beast Taming Universities, the branch presidents of the Hunter Guild, plus the support forces dispatched by the Alliance.

With Xu Chunjun as the leader, together with three military Transcendent Beast Tars serving as lieutenant generals, there were a total of ten Transcendent Beast Tars.

“Ten Transcendent Beast Tars facing more than twenty elite giants. The human side is clearly at a disadvantage!”

Shaking his head as he sighed, Zhou Ming also knew that it would be difficult for the Alliance to mobilize any more Transcendent Beast Tars.

To the east of the Alliance lay the Endless Forest Sea, spanning tens of thousands of miles. Besides five Legendary Beast Kings, there were countless Ferocious Beasts.

To the west of the Alliance was the main territory of the foreign races, with more than ten Legendary foreign beings. The pressure there was no less than that in the east.

Although the southern side of the Alliance bordered the sea, it also had to face massive sea beasts coming ashore to cause havoc.

At present, the side with the least pressure was the north of the Alliance.

To the north lay the Northern Wasteland, an endless expanse of grasslands. Further north were the Polar Ice Plain and the Arctic Ocean.

There were no powerful existences in the Northern Wasteland, while the Ferocious Beasts of the Polar Ice Plain and the Arctic Ocean, fond as they were of icy and snowy environnts, had no intention of heading south to where the Alliance was located.

The Alliance’s only advantage was that Beast Tars who mastered Transcendent power had Beast Companions assisting them, making them stronger than foreign races and Ferocious Beasts of the sa level.

Apart from that, there were also the various weapons developed by the Alliance Academy of Sciences. Although they were not ideal for one-on-one combat, they were extrely effective when used in warfare.

Based on the current situation, after Zhou Ming pondered alone for a long ti, he ultimately decided to accept the Alliance’s conscription.

Although the Alliance appeared to be at a disadvantage on the surface, it was, after all, fighting on ho ground, and the gap in high-end power was not as significant as it seed.

According to the information he knew, the reason Xu Chunjun had ultimately been promoted to general was rumored to be that after the battle in the Northern Wasteland, he had used that opportunity to advance to high-level Transcendent.

This was also the strongest force the Alliance could dispatch to face the Giant Race.

The gap was not as great as imagined. Zhou Ming could not risk becoming a Wildfolk by refusing the Alliance’s conscription.

Moreover, up to this point, Zhou Ming had no clue at all about advancing to the Transcendent Beast Tar class.

The reason lay in the lack of high-level Beast Taming knowledge. Alliance rit was currently his only channel to obtain such knowledge, and Zhou Ming did not want to miss this opportunity.

Although risks were involved, this was a price that had to be paid.

Even Beast Tars from major powers had to contribute a certain amount before receiving support from their backing forces. It was impossible for resources to be supplied without limits.

Having made his decision, Zhou Ming imdiately arranged matters at the camp and made preparations for heading to the Panlong Mountain Range.

According to the requirents stated in the Alliance conscription notice, he still had one month. After all, the Alliance also needed ti to prepare as it mobilized forces and supplies from various bases.

Zhou Ming imdiately called everyone outside the small courtyard into the living room one by one and assigned detailed tasks to each person.

Among them, he issued particularly strict requirents to the Su father and daughter and the three from Li Hu’s side.

Although Su Ningfeng had already completed the research on the Ironthread Snake genetic structure diagram, his task was far from over. Zhou Ming required him to begin research on the genetic structure diagrams of low-tier snake-type Ferocious Beasts.

Bloodline fusion and strengthening the Ironthread Snake swarm were the most fundantal requirents for Zhou Ming to improve his strength in the future.

Although he still had no clue about the Transcendent class advancent, the general direction of the path he was walking was already roughly clear in his mind.

As for the low-tier snake-type Ferocious Beasts needed for Su Ningfeng’s research, they would naturally be captured or hunted by the Snake Guards.

As for Li Hu, the requirent was to order him to cooperate with Su Ningfeng’s work while ensuring his safety.

On this basis, he was to continue enhancing the strength of the Snake Guards.

After undergoing bloodline modification, the Snake Guards suffered no negative effects when practicing New Martial Arts and were sufficient to reach a level comparable to low-tier Ferocious Beasts.

However, to reach such a level, they still needed constant tempering. In the end, equipping them with the Thunder Type-3 Revolver would be Zhou Ming’s ideal vision for the Snake Guards.

As for Su i, Zhou Ming’s requirent was for her to raise her Spiritual Power to the limit as soon as possible, in preparation for cooperating with his Sword-tailed Lizard Beast Companion to advance to the Beast Knight class.

After arranging the camp’s affairs, Zhou Ming directly returned to the underground lake island.

This ti, by accepting the conscription, his objective was to obtain high-level Beast Taming knowledge. Unless the Alliance was completely at a disadvantage, he had no intention of leaving early.

Facing hundreds or even thousands of giants, as well as foreign races comparable to Professional Beast Tars, Zhou Ming planned to take advantage of this period to prepare life-saving trump cards.

Inside the laboratory, Zhou Ming, now dressed in an experintal suit, began the work of fusing snake venom.

He had already spent a full year on snake venom research. Now was the ti to reap the results.

Inkband, Vermilion Jade, Silver Scale, Golden Horn, Colorful Scales, and Iron Block were all secondarily mutated Ironthread Snakes, and their snake venom had therefore undergone different changes.

So were stronger, so weaker, and their venom characteristics also differed.

Among them, Inkband’s and Colorful Scales’ snake venom were the most formidable. The forr primarily destroyed the nervous system and bodily structure, while the latter possessed extrely strong corrosive properties.

To put it vividly, one was magic damage, and the other was physical damage.

Zhou Ming’s research direction was not only to fuse several different types of snake venom into one, but also to add other toxins and materials to push the venom’s power to its limit.

As the test tubes were continuously shaken, multicolored snake venoms were placed in front of Zhou Ming.

According to specific dosages, they were drawn into the corresponding glass syringes.

The final fusion of the snake venom would take place within Zhou Ming’s mutated gallbladder. He needed to inject the snake venom before him into his body in a strictly defined order.

Entering a specially constructed small room, Zhou Ming completely sealed the room, using a Life Stone to supply oxygen.

The first injection was snake venom from Iron Block. After being optimized and refined by Zhou Ming, and supplented with other materials, its power had increased significantly, though it was still inferior to the other venoms.

Locating the position of the gallbladder, the needle tube, longer than normal, accurately pierced into it and began injecting the venom.

The first injection hurt a little.

The second injection was barely bearable.

At the third injection, Zhou Ming let out a muffled grunt.

By the fifth injection, his Serpentfolk form began to manifest.

……

When the final, thirteenth injection pierced into the gallbladder, the unbearable pain caused the snake tail beneath Zhou Ming to smash uncontrollably against the wall.

Energy light imdiately flickered across the specially reinforced walls. This had originally been a thod used to confine high-tier Ferocious Beasts. Zhou Ming had purchased the materials at Qinghui Base and converted it into a room.

Six different types of snake venom, together with seven different toxins, under the empowernt of the snake swarm, began to be forcibly refined and fused by Zhou Ming using bloodline power.

During the venom fusion process, the skin and snake scales on Zhou Ming’s body surface were like rainbow lights, constantly changing colors, while his face was filled with an expression of agony.

The path to obtaining powerful strength was always filled with hardship and danger.

In the end, when his body surface returned to normal, Zhou Ming swallowed a specially prepared nutrient liquid and fell into a deep sleep.
