Chapter 389: Chapter 145: The Mortality Rate of This Session_3
He certainly knew the Lin Family’s formula was stronger.
But he really felt ashad to ask his own family for the formula.
Because he was going to pass the formula on to others.
Giving the formula to people from another world wouldn’t have too much impact on the Lin Family.
But when his family mbers asked, how could he explain?
So, his idea before was to buy one that was available on the market, and once he could get a better formula himself, he would give that to the alliance.
It would be as if he had developed a better formula himself, and that would be a reasonable explanation.
“Here! Take this!” Lin Zhantian took out a rolled-up, sowhat aged parchnt from his Space Ring, “This is a copy of the Lin Family formula. It’s been in my Space Ring for quite so ti and I never had the chance to use it. Now it’s yours.”
“Uncle…” Lin Su’s expression was quite complex, “You just give it to without asking what I’m going to do with it?”
“What’s there to ask?” Lin Zhantian laughed heartily, “The Lin Family is managed by us old fellows now, but it will eventually be handed over to you. Could you young rascals possibly ruin our family? If you indeed squander it away, then it’s for you young rascals to cry about in the future!”
“Of course…” Seemingly feeling he had spoken too confidently, Lin Zhantian coughed lightly, adding, “If you’re short on money, you can just tell the family directly, there’s really no need to sell the formula…”
“Don’t worry, Uncle! I’m not taking it to sell for money.” Lin Su took the parchnt, his expression turning serious, “I assure you, I will not let anyone in this world find out about this formula!”
Except for Blue Star.
He silently added in his heart.
At this mont, his heart was filled with a bit of warmth.
When he approached his father about the body strengthening formula, his father also gave it to him without asking its purpose, and today, his uncle responded in the sa way when he inquired about the formula.
This kind of mutual trust among family mbers made him feel exceptionally warm.
It was sothing he hadn’t experienced since he was young.
“That’s fine then.” Lin Zhantian smiled, “You kids have grown up and beco sensible; your uncle naturally trusts you.”
In the midst of their conversation, a rich and bold aroma, pure and untainted with a hint of the unique sll of mutton, drifted over from the backyard, brightening everyone’s eyes, and they quickly swallowed their saliva.
“Let’s go, let’s go, let’s eat the roast lamb!”
“Mm-hmm!”
…
After having lunch with his family in the Lin Family’s separate residence, Lin Su chatted for a bit with others and then returned to the post station.
Qiuqiu and Ghost continued their training, while he seized the ti to ditate with the Space Heart.
It was only when a strong wave of sleepiness hit him that Lin Su quickly had the two pets return, then he flopped down to sleep, returning to Blue Star.
Waking up in the dormitory building of Xing Yun’s squad, Lin Su packed all his belongings neatly, handed them over to Ghost to put into the magic pocket, tidied up the desk and chairs, and then stepped out of the room.
He imagined that a new mber of the reserve camp would continue to use this room in the next session.
Hurrying downstairs, Lin Su cast a glance at Xing Yun, who, under the morning sun, practiced his stick techniques like he did every other day, a smile growing on his face.
He didn’t interrupt, instead standing to the side, silently waiting for Xing Yun to finish practicing.
A mont later, Xing Yun silently put away his stick, turned his head to look at Lin Su, his face carrying a hint of a smile, “Leaving now?”
“Yes!” Lin Su nodded his head.
“That’s good.” Xing Yun’s voice paused slightly, “It just so happens that today is the last day of the Guardian Beast Co-operation reserve camp, all squads should have completed their final assessnt tasks, you can go back together.”
“I should be going back with the seniors from the research institute.” Lin Su smiled.
“Is it Researcher Qin Nan?” Xing Yun nodded slightly; to understand Lin Su’s situation, he had t Qin Nan a few days before and was familiar with her, “When are you leaving?”
“I’ll be leaving in a bit.” Lin Su coughed lightly, “Instructor, I have a gift I’d like to give you.”
“Give to ?” Xing Yun was dumbfounded, “The reserve camp has rules; instructors can’t just accept things from students. I appreciate your sentint, but let’s skip the gift.”
“This gift isn’t just for you.” Lin Su smiled, “It’s for all the combat personnel on the frontier.”
“Oh?” Xing Yun beca interested, “What is it?”
Lin Su looked around, quickly stepped forward, and casually picked up a huge block of stone about the height of a person that was lying in the corner of the courtyard.
Xing Yun: “???”
A look of confusion and amazent crossed his face.
Such a big stone, wasn’t it at least several tons in weight?
If it hadn’t been for Lin Su’s two pets still standing there, he might have thought that Lin Su had already mastered Guardian Beast Co-operation!
Was this the physical quality a normal Beast Tar could possess?!
However, Lin Su’s demonstration had not yet ended.
He threw the massive stone into the air with great effort, then, before it could hit the ground, he pounded it with a fierce punch.
The stone block, taller than a person, exploded with a crash under Xing Yun’s astonished gaze, scattering into countless fragnts.
After completing the demonstration, Lin Su signaled Ghost to take out a piece of paper and handed it to Xing Yun.
“This is a special formula. As long as you absorb the dicinal liquid prepared according to this formula progressively, the physical quality of the absorber can reach a level sufficient to defeat juvenile phase beasts, which in terms of strength, is about ten thousand pounds of force.”
Xing Yun: “!!!”
Xing Yun opened his mouth, unable to speak for a long ti.
The strength Lin Su had demonstrated, along with the words he had just spoken, completely overturned his understanding.
