A mory he had never touched suddenly surged into his mind.
This mory began with the cry of a newborn baby.
When Lin Su saw the person in his mory who picked up his newly born self, his expression changed from confusion to complexity.
That person was Lin Zhen Nan in his youth.
This mory was from Lin Su's childhood as the Martial God.
At the beginning of his crossing, he had tried to retrieve this mory to better integrate into his new identity, but he never recalled a single bit.
As Lin Su had gradually let go of this matter, thoroughly embracing his identity as the Martial God Lin Su, this mory abruptly invaded his mind.
He saw Lin Zhen Nan hoping that in the future he could beco a martial arts powerhouse like the Lin Family ancestor from a thousand years ago, even achieving the Martial Domain Realm, and therefore naming him Su, aning "upstream retracing."
He saw Yun Zhenzhen bullying him and Lin Ye as children, often making him cry, yet taking out the best sugar figurines from Yongnan City to appease them, telling them not to inform their families.
He saw his teenage self avoiding training, indulging in fun and unwilling to practice martial arts, causing Lin Zhen Nan much concern, frequently rolling up his sleeves to hit him, but always being stopped by his mother Chen Yu, who adored her son.
He saw his ever-loving second uncle Lin Zhantian unable to resist his pleading, taking him to the market where he unexpectedly bonded with the beast taming lineage, witnessing his uncle's deeply complex and helpless expression.
He saw Lin Zhen Nan furious with his decision to choose beast taming, his uncle taking all the bla, kneeling before Lin Zhen Nan, listening to his own attempts to explain, but receiving Lin Zhen Nan's order to kill all the exotic beasts in the backyard and the judgnt that he was "a rotten wood that cannot be carved."
He saw himself in ntal disarray from consecutive blows, drowning accidentally.
So of the experiences in these mories had been shared by the Lin Family to help him regain his mory, while others were revelations to Lin Su.
They spanned Lin Su's life from birth to eighteen, completing the last part he had been missing.
At the end of these mories was a conversation in darkness.
...
"Where am I?"
"You want to live."
"Who?"
"You don't need to know who I am, you just need to know that I can make you live."
"But there are so conditions."
"What conditions?"
"You will obscure past mories, casting yourself into another world, experiencing a new life there."
"What kind of life is that? I want my parents, I want my current life!"
"Alright."
"Now you are eighteen."
"After reaching eighteen in another world, you will return."
"Then, I shall grant you the power to traverse between worlds."
"As for your mories, when we et again, you will rember them."
"Go!"
"Who are you?"
"?"
"My na is Shou."
...
Lin Su's eyes widened uncontrollably as he recalled this conversation.
He stared at the creature before him, his breathing becoming ragged.
It seed as though countless thunderbolts were crashing through his mind, rumbling continuously.
The dialogue in his mory was between himself and the entity nad Shou before him.
And this conversation answered many of his doubts, yet shattered his previous understanding of himself.
He realized the origin of his ability to cross worlds, understanding why Shou said "we et again."
But before this mont, Lin Su had never imagined that he was not originally from Blue Star.
He wasn't occupying the body in the Martial God world as an outsider.
He had only returned to his rightful ho after experiencing eighteen years on Blue Star, with fresh mories.
After a long silence, Lin Su finally cald his emotions from the shock.
He looked at Shou again, slowly speaking to ask the question he most wanted to know at the mont.
"Where am I? Where are Blue Star and the Martial God world?"
"This place is called Chaos." Shou's gaze scanned the surroundings, slowly speaking, "As you see, Chaos nurtures countless realms, each realm containing innurable creatures, with different rules and power systems."
"For Chaos, the birth and demise of realms is as ordinary as breathing."
"And the ti within realms does not correspond with that in Chaos, whereby a mont in Chaos may equate to billions of years for beings inside a realm."
"For beings within realms, a realm isn't confinent, but protection." Shou casually pointed to a staggering creature erging from a realm and then getting lost in Chaos, "Ordinary beings stepping out would be lost in Chaos."
"Because Chaos contains infinite paths."
"These paths are varied in strength, so masterless, so mastered."
"They are chaotically tangled here, causing cognitive and conscious disorder in ordinary beings."
"Only when one's power reaches a certain level, clarifying one's path and mastering one's law, does one qualify to walk in Chaos, instead of getting lost like that poor soul."
"This level is referred to as the Mythical Rank and Martial God Realm on Blue Star and in the Martial God world."
"In Chaos, it is known as the Dao Source Realm."
Dao Source Realm...
Lin Su pondered.
So he had reached the Mythical Rank as a Beast Tar, achieving this realm, hence wouldn't get lost in Chaos?
He couldn't help but cast his gaze again at Shou.
