About five ters away, a slender mystical creature with whip-like long arms and three narrow, willow leaf-shaped blades on top of its head appeared in Lin Su's view.

His expression shifted slightly, recognizing it as a mid-ranking leader of the plant-type mystical beings, endowed with core skills Flying Leaf Blade and Talent Skills Vine Whip, Absorb.
Judging from its appearance, this Flying Leaf Blade creature was still in its juvenile stage.
As Lin Su recognized the creature's species, the one that had missed with its whip shook its head, and the narrow, pale green leaf blades spun in the air like throwing knives, aiming directly at Lin Su's face with a slight whistling sound.

The already enraged Qiuqiu slamd down a palm, unleashing a large storm wrapped in Frost Snow, instantly sweeping towards the Flying Leaf Blade. The Tier I Flying Leaf Blade was caught in the surging storm and instantly shattered like a leaf in a torrent.
After shattering the Flying Leaf Blade, the force of the Frost Storm undiminished, roared and engulfed the unable-to-dodge Flying Leaf Blade creature.
That should have solved it, right?
Lin Su muttered to himself, cautiously eyeing the battlefield where the energy storm had not yet dissipated, but Qiuqiu's voice overhead suddenly quickened.
"ow!" (So many Flying Leaf Blades!)
"What, so many Flying Leaf Blades?" Lin Su asked instinctively, then seed to think of sothing and without a second word scooped up Qiuqiu and ran.

He suddenly rembered the Flying Leaf Blades were not solitary creatures.
Under normal circumstances, they gathered in groups of twenty to thirty.
What Qiuqiu just ntioned about so many Flying Leaf Blades likely ant others had heard the commotion and were coming their way.
Wild juvenile Flying Leaf Blades generally had skills at Tier I, easily defeatable by Qiuqiu even if they were of a leader species.
But that was one-on-one. Facing twenty to thirty at once, running away was the only option.

Qiuqiu, who was constantly watching behind, suddenly called out.

Nurous green Flying Leaf Blades launched into the Frost Storm, and though they shattered under the storm's abrasion, there seed to be an endless supply of them, with each destroyed blade replaced by a new one.
The roar of the storm gradually weakened and eventually, under the relentless assault of the Flying Leaf Blades, it was riddled with holes and completely dissipated.
The all-out Frost Storm Qiuqiu unleashed had bought Lin Su a few breaths' worth of ti, enough for him to escape the range of the Flying Leaf Blades' attack.
Yet, it seed the group of Flying Leaf Blades were seeing red and continued to relentlessly pursue, occasionally swinging a Flying Leaf Blade in Lin Su's direction, displaying a determination to avenge their kin.
This caused him no end of trouble, forcing him to keep bursting with all his might towards the direction of the snow mountain.
Soon, under the strain of continuous exertion, Lin Su's stamina gradually waned and his running speed began to slow.
He turned to look behind, his face instantly changing.
Unbeknownst to him, the Flying Leaf Blades had gradually narrowed the distance behind him. His own energy was significantly drained, but the group of Flying Leaf Blades was still vigorously lively.
