"Don’t give them any more chances."
"Releasing the Zombie King without permission, disregarding the safety of the Fla Country, is a serious cri."
At this mont, atop the tallest buildings in the other counties,
a paperman as tall as a person and a blood-red coffin t here.
"Lady Blood, this ti I listened to you and betrayed the ancestors. I don’t know if it’s the right decision."
The paperman sighed softly.
"There’s always a trade-off. Haven’t you always been dissatisfied with the ancestors’ oppressive policies?"
"As long as we eliminate the ancestor, can’t you ascend earlier and beco the real master of the papercraft clan?"
"Instead of being like now, where you have to consult Paperman Nan about everything you do, right?"
Lady Blood tempted from the side.
"That’s true, it’s just that I don’t know what we can do."
"Since our birth, our roles were determined by the ancestor: learning everything from papercraft to controlling puppets."
"Honestly, I’m grateful to the ancestor, but she controls too much, suffocatingly so."
"I even have this constant feeling of when I can finally take charge."
"The ancestor has beco a mountain suppressing our lineage’s developnt."
"If the papercraft clan wants to break through, we need to carve mountains to make way."
"Soday, I’ll topple that mountain, bringing true freedom to my clansn."
Lady Blood looked over the entire other county, overlooking it from on high.
A large amount of evil qi flowed directly into the coffin lid, making it appear even more vivid.
"Such thick evil qi, the Zombie King from the Prince’s Tomb is a great supplent for us."
"If it can be tucked into my coffin, my power might soar."
Lady Blood laughed coldly, her eyes filled with a mad look.
"Coffin Shop, I’ve already broken the Sealing Array as per your instructions."
"If there’s anything else, call again."
"It drained my power to break that array just now."
The papercraft master spoke coldly.
"This is the cloud of evil qi."
"Such a phenonon only occurs when a great evil is about to erge."
"You can even sll a hint of stench in the wind, suggesting the unique odor of zombies."
"This guy is about to break through, otherwise, it would stay in its coffin obediently, not daring to act."
"Now it wants to see the sun, harmonizing yin and yang to break through to Tier Eight."
"This is our chance."
"This guy has many zombies at its command; it won’t be as easy to deal with as it was with Mao Shiba."
Ye Canghai’s knowledge was vast; no matter what Ye Bai asked, Ye Canghai could always answer.
"Dad, if the Sun and Moon Divine Pearl are in this guy’s palace, will it swallow the pearl to break through to Tier Eight?"
Ye Bai asked curiously.
"It’s useless, the Sun and Moon Divine Pearl only works for humans; apart from lighting, it has no effect on Exotic Beasts."
"So, you don’t have to worry about the Zombie King swallowing the Sun and Moon Divine Pearl."
Ye Canghai brought Ye Bai to the borders of the other counties.
There they saw Heavy Armor Zombies patrolling tirelessly, arrows rusted lodged in their bodies, wielding heavy hamrs.
So zombies’ heads were half-smashed.
However, these zombies had one characteristic: they were clad in armor.
This armor, after a thousand years of corrosion, began showing signs of rust.
"The other county has completely turned into a ghost town. It seems Fla Country’s objective is for us to eradicate everything here, thoroughly uprooting the great thorn of the princes."
Ye Canghai spoke calmly.
He was imparting his lifelong experience to Ye Bai.
It was a thod Ye Canghai thought of, the only way to pass down knowledge to his child.
A lot of this knowledge is quite useful at critical monts.
"So, Dad, where should we begin?"
Ye Canghai, having lived in Corpse City for eight years, was imnsely familiar with zombies.
He knew the actions, slls, and sounds they made.
"These zombies escaped from the Prince’s Tomb; they emit a very peculiar sound talisman that I haven’t heard before, so I’m not sure what it ans yet."
"So Corpse Speakers can communicate with any corpse, while I lack this ability."
"But, these zombies must not step out of the other county. Otherwise, once this zombie army moves out, nearby cities might transform into zombies."
Ye Bai nodded: "I have already notified the surrounding garrison to encircle the other counties, ensuring not even a mosquito can get out."
"Let’s explore inside and see how powerful the Zombie King truly is."
Ye Bai rembered how Marshal Huang Long once told him that inside this Zombie King’s tomb, there were many Myriad Dragon Slashes.
These Myriad Dragon Slashes, having cut off the Dragon Vein before, were sealed in the Prince’s Tomb by the Zombie King as a burial accompanint.
So, this zombie is no ordinary one; it’s imbued with Dragon Qi.
If its appearance is covered with dense Dragon Scales, then it’s not far from transforming into a dragon.
Once a zombie evolves into an Undying Bone, dealing with it becos much more complicated.
It might require deploying two or even three National Pillars to suppress it, before taking it back to the Imperial Capital’s Qi Fortune Hall for containnt.
Until the Undying Bone is completely extinguished and ceases to exist.
"We need to find out the location of the Prince’s Tomb now, right?"
Ye Bai asked.
"No need, according to my previous experiences, the place with the most evil qi is where the Prince’s Tomb is located."
"And my Black Water Profound Snake is extrely sensitive to evil qi."
"Let it lead the way."
Ye Canghai summoned a small snake the size of a thumb.
This little snake flicked its red tongue.
"Where the tongue points is where the Prince’s Tomb is."
"This is a clone created by my Black Water Profound Snake."
Ye Canghai explained a few things to Ye Bai.
"Co on, the Prince’s Tomb is about to open. If we can seal the Zombie King underground before it erges, we’ve mostly completed our task, then infiltrating into the Prince’s Tomb to find the Sun and Moon Treasure Pearl."
Ye Bai, however, had a different opinion on Ye Canghai’s plan.
"Dad, I don’t think we need to purposely seal it. We should first seek the whereabouts of the Sun and Moon Treasure Pearl."
"When the Zombie King evolves into an Undying Bone, it must endure eighty-one strikes of Celestial Thunder."
"Using the power of thunder, it harmonizes yin and yang, eventually successfully breaking through to beco an Undying Bone."
"And when the Zombie King is hit by lightning, it’s at its most vulnerable state."
"All its magical treasures will likely be shattered by the thunder."
"Even if it breaks through to Tier Eight, what of it; it ultimately becos an Undying Bone at our disposal."
"I suggest we take this opportunity to enter the ancient tomb and loot the treasures."
"The other county is surrounded; regular zombies won’t break through the defense."
It was then that Ye Canghai suddenly had a question.
"Xiaobai, do you think the Zombie King could be using the Sun and Moon Divine Pearl to resist the Celestial Thunder?"
"If the Sun and Moon Treasure Pearl is shattered by thunder, won’t all our efforts be in vain?"
Ye Canghai asked Ye Bai.
"No, if the Zombie King carries the Sun and Moon Divine Pearl, it would certainly et its demise."
"The Sun and Moon Divine Pearl is a very unique Heavenly Material and Earthly Treasure, you’re aware of its effects."
"It contains enormous energy inside; should it get struck by Celestial Thunder, it might trigger that energy."
"If the energy explodes, the Zombie King would turn to ashes."
"You can imagine the explosion’s power, probably would devastate the entire other county."
"The Zombie King’s breakthrough seeks a lifeline, not self-destruction — it wouldn’t be stupid enough to do that."
"If it really did do such a thing, I wouldn’t know what to say then."
"Dad, I think we should first enter the Prince’s Tomb, never mind the Zombie King, Papercraft Master, and Coffin Shop business for now."
