"As long as the people from Fla Country haven’t left here, he must still be hiding in this base."

The Electric King said very calmly.

"Hiding in this base?"

"Very well, I will find him myself, and then have the Earth Bear King crush his bones one by one."

Edward said with extre irritation.

At this mont, Ye Bai had already t the thin figure of Dr. Jiang.

He was not yet forty, but all his hair had turned white, and he looked very weary.

Dr. Jiang was placed inside a respirator.

He appeared very haggard.

Ye Bai poured a vial of Life Essence into Dr. Jiang’s mouth.

He swallowed unconsciously, and after a long while, a hint of color returned to his face.

Dr. Jiang slowly opened his eyes.

"Where am I?"

He saw a person he had never seen before.

"Dr. Jiang, can you hear ?"

"I will keep this brief."

"I am Kuimu Wolf, one of the Twenty-Eight Constellations."

"Under the orders of Marshal Qilin, I am here to escort you ho."

"I’ve already rescued the other compatriots; you’re the only one left."

Upon hearing Ye Bai’s words, Dr. Jiang struggled to pull off his respirator mask.

"No, my research findings are still in the C3 Laboratory."

"All records regarding Delta disease are there, and I’ve even developed a cure for it."

"It’s currently in the third phase of clinical trials."

"I must go to the laboratory; otherwise, I won’t leave here."

Dr. Jiang insisted stubbornly.

Ye Bai hesitated a little but finally gritted his teeth and agreed.

Delta disease is considered a very rare genetic disorder.

Those who have this genetic disease often beco paralyzed and have very short lifespans.

Once symptoms appear, the patient usually dies within a day.

Since Dr. Jiang developed a prototype of the cure, it must be obtained at all costs.

However, going from here to the C3 Laboratory is fraught with obstacles.

After all, it’s the farthest from the dical room, and Ye Bai is taking a significant risk.

The Eight Kings could arrive at the undersea base at any mont.

Right then, Ye Bai’s phone received a high-alert signal.

This was part of his arrangents after hacking into the intranet system, set to notify upon the Eight Kings’ arrival.

Danger could arise at any mont.

After all, the Eight Kings were renowned Pet Beast Masters, and Ye Bai was just a low-ranked Karami.

Then, the bell for dawn chid.

New intelligence was updated.

[1. The Electric King among the Eight Kings has entered the undersea base to turn the tide. He ranks high among the Eight Kings and is adept at using electrostatic fields that can detect hidden life auras. He shows no rcy to invading mice and must execute them on the spot.]

[2. There is a secret passage from the dical room to the ventilator shaft of the C3 Laboratory. This passage has been here for a long ti, dug out by a romance between a doctor and a lab assistant. It’s beneath dical Cabin No. 1; pressing a button labeled ’Damaged’ will move the cabin aside.]

[3. The Electric King possesses the Eternal Pointer granted by the Space King, which can locate space coordinates. Imdiate space movent is necessary, destroying each coordinate repeatedly to evade the Electric King’s pursuit.]

[4. Don’t think the Electric King is afraid of rubber; he carries nearly one hundred million volts of electricity, enough to lt your rubber to liquid.]

[5. The C3 Laboratory computer password is 123456. Dr. Jiang has two sets of experint logs: one is a scrambled version, seemingly neatly arranged, whereas the second set is the genuine experint log, artificially aged.]

Ye Bai looked around, found dical Cabin No. 1, and pressed the damaged button.

There was a click, and the dical cabin slowly moved aside, revealing a hole that could fit one person.

The hole seed unfathomable, with stone steps leading downward.

Ye Bai walked directly down; before long, the dical cabin returned to its original position.

From the outside, the dical cabin looked unremarkable.

At that mont, Edward and the Electric King were waiting in the office.

The liaison officer walked in with a pale face.

"How’s it going, can you find those people from Fla Country?"

Edward said coldly.

The liaison officer shook his head, "No, the surveillance is fake; soone gave us a false location."

"Not only that, but Dr. Jiang is also missing; we suspect those mice have already fled."

The liaison officer’s words made Edward frown.

"Impossible, with so many people, where could they be hiding?"

"How did they vanish?"

The Electric King pondered silently.

"Could they be hiding underground?"

Edward suggested.

"Good suggestion, don’t suggest it next ti!"

The Electric King sohow had a hunch that those people hadn’t left but were hiding, deeper indeed.

"No worries, my electromagnetic waves can discern human presence, and no matter where they hide, they can’t escape."

"Since the Twelve Pillars of the Country ca to rescue these people, we might as well send one back dead."

"By the way, I recall you ntioning Dr. Jiang is quite important?"

"He has a talent for pharmacology?"

"Such talent is exactly what we need. I heard he solved the Delta disease?"

"This disease is not uncommon in the Beautiful Country; we must treat talent kindly and reward generously."

At this, the liaison officer’s face beca quite unsightly.

"Liaison officer, what’s wrong with you?"

Edward asked in bewildernt.

For the first ti, he saw his liaison officer showing such an expression.

"The dical room was just invaded."

"The Sword Turtle and Shield Turtle responsible for guarding are missing."

"Many valuable dicines in the dical room have been looted clean."

Upon hearing the liaison officer’s words, Edward opened his eyes wide.

The dical room stored many expensive dicines, which Edward had carefully collected.

Edward was usually reluctant to use them, and now they were plundered clean.

He was almost beside himself with anger.

"Search, even if it ans turning the whole base upside down, find that rat."

Edward’s voice was squeezed out through gritted teeth, wishing to chew that rat a thousand tis over.

"No need for that trouble."

The Electric King raised his hand and pointed straight up.

Endless arcs of lightning erupted from his fingertips, dispersing throughout the sky.

Then the Electric King grinned, "Found you."

He placed his hand on an exposed cable, turning into a bolt of lightning and disappearing.

At that mont, Ye Bai had already obtained all of Dr. Jiang’s docunts and the vial of antidote.

He placed these items into the Pet Beast Space.

Ye Bai suddenly had a bad premonition, growing stronger by the mont.

If he continued to stay here, he would die!

"Heaven-Swallowing Pelican, use Spatial Transfer, leave here quickly."

A birdsong echoed, and Ye Bai imdiately initiated instant movent.

Not long after he left, lightning struck the spot where he stood.

The Electric King appeared, glanced around, but had already lost Ye Bai’s trail.

"What a technique, having a Space Beast remain dormant until the critical mont to use Spatial Transfer."

"You’ve piqued my interest, but the Space King should have sensed your spatial coordinates."

"Next, I’ll just wait for the Space King to facilitate space leap, catching up to you."

The Electric King murmured.

Having cooperated with the Space King for years, he was familiar with the Space King’s thods.

The spatial fluctuations instantly caught the Space King’s attention.

"Damn little thief."

"Still hiding in the undersea base, may you remain forever."

The Space King also employed Spatial Transfer, attempting to capture Ye Bai’s spatial coordinates, intending to follow up.
