In the distant sky, dark clouds gathered, thunder and lightning crashed.

Although it was already dayti, the dark clouds were like a lid always shrouding this part of the sky.

From the thick, black clouds, countless furious and terrified Thunderbirds flapped their lightning-filled wings, diving down towards the South Heaven Gate Fortress.

Their wings shone with dazzling blue electric light, countless Furious Thunder as thick as bowl rims fell from the sky, seemingly in the rage of the Thunder God; the Thunderbirds were determined to break through the South Heaven Gate Fortress to avenge their fallen companions.

On the walls of the South Heavenly Gate Castle, the sleeping Stone Lions seed to feel a daunting pressure approaching.

A massive sense of crisis directly awakened the Stone Lions, their statue-like bodies starting to tremble.

When not in battle, the Stone Lions would take the form of stone lion statues to recover themselves and repair their damaged parts.

Accompanied by the sharp screeching of the Thunderbirds, the Stone Lions gradually awakened, causing violent tremors on the walls, as the Thunderbirds launched an all-out attack under the leadership of the Thunderbird Emperor.

The eyes of the Stone Lions burst with brilliant light, their blood bowl big mouths opened wide as they roared into the sky, blasting golden beams upwards.

This was the Stone Lions’ skill, the Stone Lion Cannon, whose mighty energy could instantly deal with enemies of equal rank.

Nurous Thunderbirds were hit by the golden beams, turning into dust, but more Thunderbirds surged forward.

The bodies of the Stone Lions cut through the sky with sharp Furious Thunder, while the Thunderbirds swung their Sharp Claws almost instantaneously.

The sound of tal clashing was incessant, with electric flashes and the gray-white rocks complenting each other.

The Thunderbirds’ sharp wings sliced through the air, each flap causing rolling wind waves and bringing waves of thunder.

Many Stone Lions were hit by the Thunder Light, their eyes widened as their bodies emitted a blinding strong light, followed by a loud bang as the Stone Lions’ bodies exploded.

The Thunderbirds nearby were imdiately blown into fragnts, and those affected let out pitiful cries, screaming as if in agony.

With each explosion of a Stone Lion, the defense of the South Heaven Gate Fortress fell to its lowest point.

The Stone Lions are the guardian beasts of the South Heaven Gate Fortress, once dead, as long as the Heart Core remains, they will reform on the walls.

However, this process requires so ti.

At this mont, the Pet Beast Masters took the stage.

"Co out, Hellfire."

The dark red Hellfire descended from the sky.

It slamd heavily into the densest cluster of Thunderbirds like a fire teor.

The terror-stricken Thunderbirds discharged tens of thousands of volts.

The currents converged onto the body of Hellfire.

Hellfire hadn’t even stretched its body before it transford into an endless explosion of rocks.

Thick smoke soared into the sky, killing nurous Thunderbirds.

A look of pure paleness washed over Flood Dragon.

The Hellfire summoned was a clone, maintaining a third of the connection with the original.

With the clone extinguished, the original suffered severe injury.

Thankfully, Flood Dragon hadn’t unleashed Hellfire’s true form; otherwise, the previous attack would have been enough to annihilate Hellfire completely.

"How long until the Protective Barrier can deploy?"

"This wave of Thunderbird attacks is too fierce."

Flood Dragon picked up the walkie-talkie to ask.

A hurried voice ca from the other end of the walkie-talkie: "The explosion just now severely damaged most of the equipnt."

"We are in the process of urgent repairs."

"Given the current situation, we’ll need thirty minutes even if we work overti."

Flood Dragon’s hand gripped the walkie-talkie tightly, veins bulging on the back of his hand.

His eyes showed a glimr of determination, realizing that they must hold out for this wave.

"Alright, we’ll hold on for thirty minutes."

If multiple Hellfires were summoned or Hellfire was fused with the South Heavenly Gate Castle, could they withstand the Thunderbird attack?

Flood Dragon’s Hellfire could temporarily rge with any building or equipnt, granting them Hellfire’s traits.

Tank swung his fist, punching towards the Thunderbird’s head.

The Thunderbird’s skull cracked upon impact, blood spilled profusely.

He casually swung the Thunderbird’s leg, viciously throwing it out to hit another Thunderbird.

At this mont, a bolt of electric light struck Tank.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch."

Tank’s limbs involuntarily started performing a chanical dance on the ground, a wisp of smoke emanating from his mouth.

"Damn it, I’m getting angry."

Tank’s body swelled a bit; he was a highly unconventional equipnt-type Pet Beast Master.

He took out brass knuckles, slipping them onto his hands.

"Old buddy, I need your help this ti."

Tank furrowed his brows angrily, swung heavily against the air, and countless fist shadows surged like a tidal wave towards the distance.

The Thunderbirds struck by the fist shadows had their bodies dented in, shattered into a bloody mush, with blood spilled all over the ground.

Tank was splattered with blood, catching his breath at that mont, when a slightly larger Thunderbird appeared behind him, wrapped in a massive current.

If this tens of thousands of volt current hit Tank, he would be paralyzed instantly and lose combat capability.

"Bang."

A bullet instantly pierced through the Thunderbird’s head, the Thunder Light on its body dissipating with a roar.

In the midst of the crisis, Shark Hunter intervened, directly shooting the Thunderbird’s head to pieces.

"Be careful, the Thunderbirds are innurable."
