They were all terrified of the Necromancer.

Unbeknownst to them, this ti it truly wasn’t the case; the Necromancer was genuinely being sincere, yet faced everyone’s suspicion.

It’s like when soone lies too often, even the rare truth is taken as false.

The boy-who-cried-wolf story is told too many tis, and people beco immune.

By now, the Necromancer was anxious.

"I know what you’re worried about."

"But if you miss this village, there won’t be this shop again."

The Necromancer repeated one last ti.

The Whipping Girl let out a cold laugh.

"Missing out is your loss. For us, it’s basically dispensable."

"First, show us your sincerity."

"We can’t send our n to die based on just so information."

"Unlike you, adept at manipulating corpses, we don’t have countless cannon fodders."

"Our subordinates are flesh and blood; losing even one brings sorrow."

The Whipping Girl displayed an expression of cherishing her troops, but was truly seeking to drive a hard bargain.

"Indeed, if you wish us to provide manpower and effort, bring out real gold and silver to hire our help."

"Otherwise, who would believe your words? Your credibility is completely shattered."

"You have no trust left with us."

Even the Demon Swordsman didn’t believe the Necromancer’s words much.

"Yes, this inheritance isn’t essential to us, at most just icing on the cake."

"Why not collaborate with that mad group from the Resurrection Association instead?"

"While you’re at it, help them recover the Blood Saint’s inheritance."

"They’d probably thank your ancestors for eighteen generations."

The Three Sages sneered coldly.

The Necromancer’s bones were filled with rejection; rely ntioning the Resurrection Association almost made him leap up.

"I would never communicate with those tasteless folks who only toy with corpses."

The other three high-ranking mbers of the Evangelical Association simultaneously twitched their faces, isn’t this describing yourself?

"I currently need soone skilled at stealth."

"My subordinate, the Bone Shadow Demon, has decent strength, but it exudes a strong Undead aura. Once entering a city in Fla Country, it would likely be promptly discovered."

Most of the Necromancer’s subordinates weren’t adept at concealing their Undead aura.

And those skilled at concealing were sent by the Necromancer to execute secret tasks.

Thus, the Necromancer was in a bind, lacking suitable personnel in hand.

"I’ll be straightforward."

"This ti, my treasure indicated the Blood Saint’s inheritance will appear at the Dark Auction House."

Upon hearing this, the Whipping Girl coldly responded, "Appearing at the Dark Auction House, isn’t this just right for you?"

"Among the giants of the Evangelical Association, soone like you, profiting off the dead, earns the most."

"As long as you find the burial grounds of those royal aristocrats, their grave goods are a lucrative inco."

"Moreover, wouldn’t you dispatch your skeleton army to surround the Dark Auction House?"

"Do you, the prominent figure of the Evangelical Association, lack such courage?"

The Whipping Girl was clearly challenging the Necromancer’s prowess.

Has the Necromancer’s power diminished severely after his Tomb Whip was snatched away?

A myriad of thoughts flashed through the Whipping Girl’s mind, wondering if she could seize the opportunity to annex the Necromancer’s forces.

But after so contemplation, she abandoned the idea.

After all, the Necromancer is a master at manipulating corpses, with most of its subordinates resurrected by it.

They regard the Necromancer as an ancestral figure.

A word from the Necromancer is akin to an absolute decree.

At this point, the Necromancer awkwardly smiled.

"If only it were so simple."

"The Dark Auction House has significant backing."

"I cannot afford to offend its supporters, and transactions at the Dark Auction House aren’t asured in worldly gold and silver but require a wealth of Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures."

"And precisely, I lack these; Undead Elent’s Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures benefit , but are devalued at the auction house."

"Hence, my idea is to intercept before soone places the Blood Saint’s inheritance at the Dark Auction House."

"That is why I want you to send people to help search for a bit."

"Here’s your upfront paynt; even if the deal doesn’t succeed, it won’t be returned."

The Necromancer tossed three colorful gems to the group.

The Whipping Girl used her whip to coil a gem, while the Demon Swordsman flicked a gem onto his hand with his sword tip.

As for the Three Sages, they used a beam of starlight to confine the gem.

She examined it closely with eyes as deep as the starlight itself.

"A Magic Stone sealed with Tier Eight magic?"

"Such a grand gesture."

The Three Sages smiled contentedly as she put away the Magic Stone.

The Whipping Girl snorted coldly, crossing her arms, her expression slightly more relaxed.

As for the Demon Swordsman, he stood up and turned to leave; he didn’t have a suitable candidate amongst his hands, and having received the benefits, there was no reason to give them back.

The Necromancer felt like he had spent his days hunting geese only to have his eyes picked out by one.

Even soone as straightforward as the Demon Swordsman has learned to swindle things from him.

Damn it!

The Necromancer was so furious his bones were cracking all over.

"I have soone here who is very adept at shadow manipulation."

"His talent is Shadow Cross, but his younger brother betrayed before and joined the Resurrection Association."

"That’s why I’ve imprisoned him in the Other Dinsion Space to hunt the Void Beast."

"This ti, I’ll give him the chance to make ands."

"Do you have anything that can detect the Blood Saint’s inheritance?"

"Bring it out."

The Whipping Girl grinned, her eyes full of malice.

Once she has the relic in hand, she naturally isn’t in the habit of giving it back.

The Necromancer was feeling a bit troubled at the mont.

Then the Three Sages spoke up, "Necromancer, just give the Destiny Pointer to the Whipping Girl."

"Don’t worry, once we obtain the Blood Saint’s inheritance, we’ll share it publicly. You won’t be left out."

"Although the Whipping Girl isn’t on friendly terms with you, she still aligns with us on major issues."

"Right, Whipping Girl?"

The Three Sages said with a smile.

The Whipping Girl nodded, "Yes, Necromancer, don’t let do sothing for you while you drag your feet. I can choose not to help you."

"At worst, I’ll just return this Magic Stone to you."

The Whipping Girl pretended to throw the Magic Stone back, at which point the Necromancer waved the White Bone Staff.

Sothing akin to a golden needle appeared beside the Whipping Girl.

"This is my treasure, rember to return it to ."

The Necromancer showed a pained expression.

"Alright then, I’ll take care of everything."

"This thing is mine now that it’s with ."

The Whipping Girl said domineeringly and vanished into countless shadows.

"Haha, that Destiny Pointer should only have one use left."

"It’s no problem giving it to the Whipping Girl."

"Necromancer, it seems you haven’t really lost much."

The Three Sages said aningfully before disappearing into the air.

The Necromancer showed a cautious look in his eyes.

Among the three remaining prominent figures, the one he couldn’t fathom the most was the Three Sages.

But the Three Sages weren’t wrong either; the Destiny Pointer looks intact on the outside, but it’s full of cracks inside.

It only has one use left.

This is the backlash from peering into destiny.

Ye Bai didn’t rest much; instead, he left the house with the Space Pelican under the cover of night.

He changed his appearance and headed to the Ghost Market in the Imperial Capital.

The Ghost Market opens around 2-3 AM.

In the Da Liushu Village of the Imperial Capital, this place used to be a cetery.

Usually, it’s surrounded by nurous ghost fires.

Ye Bai wore a paperman mask, weaving through the wild countryside.

Using Da Liushu as a reference, he arrived at a naless tombstone not far from it.

Ye Bai lightly tapped the blurry photo on the tombstone, and he instantly found himself at the entrance of a bustling market.

The guards at the market gate were two papern painted with blush.

They flew out to block Ye Bai upon his entry.

"Please show your pass."

"The Ghost Market only allows those with invitations."

The papern emanated an intimidating pressure, seeming like they would strike Ye Bai down if he couldn’t produce a pass.

Black airflow spread from the papern and landed on Ye Bai.

At this mont, Ye Bai opened the Pet Beast Space and pulled out a box containing one million Alliance Coins.

"I need to buy a pass, I know you have them."

The papern, upon seeing the Fla Country Coin, imdiately withdrew their fierce aura, showing an ingratiating smile.

"Ah, it’s a VIP, we apologize for charging at you."

The papern opened their hands to reveal a finely crafted Bronze dal.

Along with a hundred copper coins.

"One million Alliance Coins can only purchase a Bronze dal pass, allowing you to explore most of the Ghost Market and stay for free until morning at Lucky Inn, the largest inn in the Ghost Market."

"Our black market doesn’t accept real gold and silver."

"These hundred Ghost Copper Coins are the common currency in the Ghost Market."

"The Ghost Copper Coins have Nether Silver on them, and Nether Silver has Tomb Gold on top."

"1 Tomb Gold = 1000 Nether Silver = 1000000 Ghost Copper Coins."

"Please keep it safe, VIP."

"If you want to exchange for the common currency, you can go to the Silver Manor."

"The Silver Manor is a large building that looks quite like a copper coin."

Ye Bai collected the copper coins, then wanted to ask the papern where to find places that sold Exotic Beasts.

Upon hearing this inquiry, the papern laughed.

"VIP, it’s my fault for not explaining clearly."

"The pass itself is a large map; by using Spiritual Power to probe it, you’ll get a visual map."

"Then tell the pass where you want to go, and it’ll naturally guide you there."

Ye Bai raised an eyebrow, is this an innovation of technology and craftsmanship?
