"Welco back to the branch, Xu Feng," said the enthusiastic voice of the Artifact Spirit Xiao Bao.
"It looks like this branch has developed quite well during my absence," Xu Feng remarked while looking at the teleportation area which had expanded tenfold.
"Of course, give a little more ti and I’ll be able to contend with the main branch," boasted Xiao Bao proudly.
"Master Xu, you should go ho first. In a while, I have a few tasks I’d like to request your help with."
"I also want to invite you to serve as the Great Elder of a side sect here at the branch," Xiao Bao added.
"Aren’t there any other masters available? Why must I be the one to step up?" Xu Feng asked, puzzled.
"While there are many masters in the side sects, I’ve found that only you are adept at teaching the Dao."
"Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you’re well compensated, and I’ll grant you access to the branch’s privileges," assured Xiao Bao.
"So you’re saying I need to leave several avatars behind to teach here?"
"But I don’t have enough avatars for that," Xu Feng said, stroking his chin.
"Just one avatar will do; I won’t expect you to have multiple avatars teaching at the sa ti," Xiao Bao clarified.
"That’s a relief! I will leave an avatar at the branch," Xu Feng nodded in agreent.
A teleportation gate unfolded not far from Xu Feng, leading to the Primordial Region where his lineage resided.
"Ha-ha, quite a striking sight."
Xu Feng stepped through the teleportation gate with a smile.
As soon as Xu Feng’s aura appeared in the Primordial Region, his family and friends arrived through broken space without the need for Xu Feng to notify them.
"Xiaofeng, you’re finally back!" Su Yunnuan gazed longingly at her son.
"Uncle, the Primordial Region has developed very nicely in your absence," said Xu Yi with a smile.
"That’s great!"
"Everyone, co to my house for a drink later," Xu Feng invited with a laugh.
Upon his return, Xu Feng began sharing stories of his recent years while hopping from one banquet to another.
The ti spent with his family and friends brought great joy to Xu Feng’s heart.
In the Great Chaos Sea within the Primordial Region where Xu Feng resided, Xiao Jin transford into his true form for another expedition.
"Master, I can now cross Nihility with my physical body. Do you want to explore inside?" asked the Golden Armored Spirit Turtle with a grin.
"Of course, we have authority over this area. As long as we don’t wander too far, we can teleport back to the branch," Xu Feng replied with a nod.
"Let’s go!"
The Golden Armored Spirit Turtle charged through space with its body and dove into Nihility at the edge of the Primordial Region.
A layer of special protection enveloped Xu Feng.
"This Nihility truly makes you feel the absence of any existence; space and Wan Dao are both undetectable," Xu Feng said as he reached out to touch Nihility with his bare hands, retracting them only after a while.
"Master, why do I sense a special kind of energy in Nihility?"
As he spoke, the energy of Nihility in front of Xu Feng began to condense, eventually forming into a crystal.
"That’s because your bloodline is of a high level, and your inheritance includes a way to utilize Nihility."
"This small crystal will probably be useful only once I reach the Ninth Realm," said Xu Feng as he inspected the small crystal and then tossed it back into Nihility, where it vanished without a trace.
The Golden Armored Spirit Turtle road through Nihility, while Xu Feng felt as if he had entered a starry sky without light.
Only Xiao Jin glowed with a golden light, paving the way forward. From a distance, Xu Feng seed to be enveloped by endless solitude.
"There are treasures in Nihility, but they are far too scarce; this Nihility also seems rather uninteresting," Xu Feng said while sitting on the Turtle Shell.
"Xiao Jin, does your bloodline inheritance contain thods to seek out treasures in Nihility?"
"It seems so, but it’s hidden within the bloodline. As long as I am close, I will be able to sense it. There’s nothing nearby right now."
"But I have a faint hunch that the direction we are heading towards is shaped by this feeling," the Golden Armored Spirit Turtle said.
Following a feeling, Xu Feng thought to himself that it sounded like a song’s title.
Idly, Xu Feng entered the Mountain and Sea Divine Beast World.
At that ti, the Mountain and Sea Divine Beast World was at the initial stage of a cycle of Reincarnation; countless clans had just been born, and it was ti for exploring the Dao and creating cultivation systems.
From a higher dinsion, Xu Feng observed all that was happening below.
Several continents separated the Human Clan and the Yuanjia Tribe, and Xu Feng guessed that the two tribes would not discover each other until the birth of an Immortal Emperor.
"I wonder if this cycle will bring any surprises."
"Master, nothing unusual with the Yuanjia Tribe, but among the Human Clan has erged a top-tier genius with exceptional talent," reported Sword Spirit Xiao Tao from his side.
"Is it that one down there?"
At that mont, within a city in Human Clan Territory, a middle-aged looking man was giving lessons to his seven sons.
"I noticed him right away; not even two thousand years old, yet he has advanced to the Immortal Monarch Realm. He should be one of the most powerful in the Human Clan, with excellent talents."
"It’s just that his character of not contending, not forcing things, and preferring to stay out of conflicts is sowhat problematic. He has such strong innate talent, yet he chooses to live in obscurity within the Human Clan as a Hidden Guest."
"I wonder what he has seen through," Xu Feng comnted with interest.
"Master, I have been closely monitoring this mber of the Human Clan. He won’t make a move unless the Human Clan faces an existential threat. He only wishes to live out his days in peace," Sword Spirit Xiao Tao explained.
"Living a peaceful life right now, amidst countless competing clans is impossible," smirked Xu Feng, deciding to stay in the Mountain and Sea Divine Beast World to see how this Hidden Guest’s life would unfold.
"Master, do you want to arrange sothing?"
"No need, just let it develop naturally."
"If we manipulate things, it will lack a sense of destiny," Xu Feng said with a wave of his hand.
"Alright."
In the following ti, Xu Feng remained in the Mountain and Sea Divine Beast World, watching the daily life of the Hidden Guest.
Observed by Xu Feng, the man nad Wan Sanshan ran a business within the Human Clan, neither big nor small, perfectly avoiding attention. His favorite pasti was traveling within the Human Clan Territory and casually returning ho to teach his children, leading a rather content life.
After observing for so ti, Xu Feng began to feel envious.
However, such days did not last, as the growing number of powerful individuals within the Human Clan made surrounding races feel threatened. Consequently, ten surrounding tribes united and brazenly invaded the entire Human Clan Territory.
To their shock, the Human Clan was caught off guard.
Xu Feng, observing from a higher dinsion, was suddenly more alert.
Given the scale of the crisis facing the Human Clan, if the Hidden Guest does not ally with the strongest Immortal Monarch among the Human Clan, there is a good chance the clan could face extinction.
Indeed, destiny spares no one, especially in tis of tribal peril.
Wan Sanshan outwardly appeared to be at the level of the Heavenly Immortal Realm. However, his sons were exceptionally talented: the eldest, the second eldest, and the third and fourth were all at the Golden Immortal Realm, while the fifth, sixth, and seventh were at the peak of the Heavenly Immortal Realm.
