"Xiaoyi, send your clone up to take a look."
The steel clone of the little white spider had just crawled up when it was smacked dead by a wolf’s paw.
Li Cunxu asked, "Is that wolf still there?"
"It’s all there, the wolf pack surrounds the tunnel entrance."
"It seems the toxic fus have dispersed."
Suddenly, the already dim tunnel turned even darker.
The little white spider looked up and said, "The entrance seems to be blocked by a stone."
"Not good, without the entrance to let oxygen in, we’ll suffocate soon."
Li Cunxu patted the little white spider on the head, "Don’t worry, the oxygen problem can be easily solved."
"Xiaoruan, revive so Grass Slis."
The little white spider said in confusion, "Oxygen? Grass Slis?"
Li Cunxu explained, "Grass Slis have so plant characteristics, they can absorb carbon dioxide and turn it into oxygen."
"But photosynthesis to produce oxygen requires daylight, doesn’t it?"
"Indeed, Grass Slis typically produce oxygen during the day, but they can cleverly produce oxygen at night, requiring only a bit of light and heat."
"We don’t have any light or heat here, right? No, wait, we do, the fla of the Fireball can provide light and heat, but burning flas consu more oxygen."
The little white spider pondered.
Li Cunxu rubbed its little head.
"You overlooked a Sli that can perfectly solve the Grass Sli’s oxygen-making problem, use your little brain to think who it is."
With Li Cunxu’s small hint, the little white spider almost didn’t have to think before realizing who it was.
"It’s the Fire Sli, isn’t it? It cos with its own light and heat."
The little white spider worried again, "But Fire Sli is naturally at odds with Grass Sli, whenever they et, Fire Sli would bully Grass Sli."
"You overlooked your companion Sli’s rule Xiaoruan; with a single command, Fire Sli will behave and not dare to bully Grass Sli."
Fire Sli is hot-tempered, often fighting among itself, and there’s no shortage of Fire Sli souls in the Soul Kingdom.
Grass Sli was sent by Li Cunxu to the depths of Muye Plain, where so pet beasts beca playful or used Grass Sli as training, leading to high losses, thus many Grass Sli souls queued for revival in the Soul Kingdom.
Xiaoruan revived so Grass Slis and Fire Slis again.
Fire Sli’s head was ablaze, the fiercer the fla, the stronger the Fire Sli.
Revived Fire Sli levels reset to zero, and although flas were small, they continued to consu the scant oxygen in the tunnel.
"Xiaoruan, have them extinguish the flas."
The flas atop Fire Sli’s head can be turned off manually.
Reluctantly, even a weak fla is a symbol of their strength, but with Xiaoruan’s command, they obeyed.
Li Cunxu placed three Grass Slis next to a Fire Sli, forming a Sli version of an oxygen generator.
Fire Sli emitted a faint red glow, bringing so light to the dim tunnel. Li Cunxu glanced up at the stone sealing the tunnel entrance, feeling fortunate that they encountered the Evil Big Wolf, a beast without ranged skills, with not so clever brain.
If the Evil Big Wolf had ranged skills and could release them into the tunnel, Li Cunxu would be like a turtle in a shell, enduring the skills head-on.
As for why it’s deed not so clever—
It thought of blocking the tunnel with a giant rock but didn’t think of stuffing it with stones.
If it stuffed stones into the tunnel, Li Cunxu would be helplessly crushed, with no way to counter.
Now even if the Evil Big Wolf moved the giant rock and stuffed stones, it’s too late—the tunnel has expanded horizontally, no longer a straight passage.
Li Cunxu squatted on the ground silently watching Earth Sli eat dirt and dig the tunnel, feeling sowhat bored.
"Should Xiaoruan craft a pickaxe and join the digging? It’s kind of interesting."
Li Cunxu stood up, stretched his muscles, and sat back down.
It’s not that he’s tired.
Rather, although the oxygen issue was solved, the food problem remained unsolved.
There’s nothing to eat underground.
Li Cunxu needed to conserve energy.
"What to do? ditate and train?"
Li Cunxu lacked motivation, Vast Sea ditation Technique expanded his spiritual sea, requiring him to cultivate ten tis the spiritual power compared to others—and that was manageable; he was still an ordinary person in ditation training, expending a hundredfold effort, yet his spiritual power wasn’t even equivalent to Xiaoruan’s feedback from one attempt.
His Dao heart was starting to crumble a little.
Commonly referred to as ’letting things slide.’
With Xiaoruan and Xiaoyi flying alongside him, the importance of spiritual power training faded; it was better to spend ditation ti nurturing bonds with Xiaoruan and Xiaoyi.
This too is a Beast Master’s training thod.
"Practice Spirit Separation Technique? No material to separate."
"Practice Spirit Seal Technique?"
Li Cunxu searched his pajama pockets, finding no Seal Cards.
Seal Cards are essential for practicing Spirit Seal Technique, without them, it’s impossible to practice.
"Ah, so boring, Xiaoyi, let teach you a lesson!"
Li Cunxu shook the nodding little white spider awake. It climbed onto his shoulder, wrapped its legs around his neck, and playfully tugged at his cheeks.
"No, I want to sleep; you promised I’d learn for eight hours a day, then I’d be left alone. Keep your word."
"Alright, alright, I keep my word, go sleep."
The little white spider crawled onto Li Cunxu’s head, switched its form, and returned to the little white spider form from the puppet form.
Li Cunxu was sowhat helpless, his head bearing an undeserved weight; he didn’t understand why it was such a preferred place—Xiaoruan and Xiaoyi treated it as their den.
Sotis, they even fought over the spot.
"Nothing to do, might as well sleep; besides, it’s the perfect ti to sleep in this world section."
Li Cunxu leaned against the wall and fell asleep.
anwhile, those swept into the secret realm by the Celestial Sweeping Cot weren’t as comfortable as Li Cunxu; they found themselves in danger, chased by evil beasts, trembling in hiding among the grass...
The little girl was startled awake by the chill on the ground, looking around at the total darkness, utterly bewildered.
She didn’t scream or yell; this child had so early wisdom.
But luck wasn’t on her side; she was targeted.
In the grass, eight red lanterns lit up, and Li Xiaoxiao saw the light and walked towards the red lanterns, seeking to illuminate the darkness around her.
As she approached, her delicate young legs couldn’t help but tremble uncontrollably.
They weren’t red lanterns but the eight eyes of a giant spider bigger than an adult.
The Desperate Spider roared loudly, emitting a terrifying screech.
The little girl didn’t freeze in fear but courageously started running.
While running, she cried out for help.
The undeveloped forest was complex, especially under the cover of night.
The little girl hadn’t run far before she was tripped by exposed tree roots on the ground. Then, she cried in despair but didn’t give up her last bit of hope, enduring the pain and continuing to run.
"Didn’t catch up?"
The little girl turned her head quickly; the big spider was still behind.
She couldn’t help but feel puzzled; the big spider had such long legs, and though she stumbled, the spider was still quite far behind?
